Devs thought of someone doing this, and yet didnt put any reward at all in any of the golden strawberry runs. I guess beating it is the reward but still, it really feels like you're doing this for nothing, just to have a virtual number that means close to nothing be a couple digits higher than everyone else's

I remember watching your All C-Sides in a row Deathless some time ago. Once again, this is **insane**! And the most insane parts are not the long screens which take some time to learn, but with which you get better over time (e.g. the long last screen). The most insane parts are those screens that just don't work consistently, but you have to execute all of them flawlessly. In my opinion the most inconsistent parts (al least for me) are: 0:33 - I rarely can reach the top-right block in time 8:33 - this one feels almost pixel-frame-perfect 10:13 - she always jumps too far and bumps right into spikes 11:43 - has to be very precise 19:41 - fish jumps most of the times go lower, not enough to go over electricity. Couldn't figure out why. With these screens I really don't feel like I improve over time. It always seems random, like I just have to execute it a bunch of times and get lucky. The hardest and the most inconsistent at the same time screen of the game, in my opinion is still 7C-3 though. Interesting strat: 12:22 - wow, didn't know you can do it this way. It should be more consistent Congratulations!
For me those screens was mostly down to me figuring out what to do. A lot of it is down to muscle memory and trusting yourself to get it done i know with fish jumps you have to hold down the jump button when you jump on them though the timing is really weird once i got into muscle memory its harder for me to fail those. 8:33 was the hardest one for me since i couldn't for the life of me put together what to do but, i realized i never had the wall jumps fully understood in how they worked. i constantly jumped as soon as i touched the wall causing me to not get high enough. once you get a feel for the timing its mostly down to execution which was where i was off The rest is down to trusting yourself with the movement and not panicking or losing patients I believe with enough time anyone can do this but, the main reason why people don't is they don't feel its for them. Which is fine to making it to this point is an achievement on its own. I love this run especially since it reminds me of how i played this level. keeping my cool as i try to complete even the moon berry is hard for me but i will soon. Though with golden strawberry's ill have to hold off until i get the others first

She always jumps too fast and bumps into spikes.

Again the distance Madeline dashes is suppose to be taught through level design and getting a feel for it. I can excuse that since its not easy to teach a player the exact distance Madeline dash through a tutorial. Considering this is the first place where wave-dashing is required (in this form i know 8-c teaches you something similar which through me off since i played back to back)movement instead of optional. when i first encountered it i knew i was in for a bad time i took me almost 2500 deaths to complete this chapter. After playing through some sections again i could tell i was more confident in what i was doing not enough to prevent me from dying but, enough to where i could say i can beat it in half the retries i did my first time around. This is defiantly their hardest chapter no doubt in that but, in the end getting consistent to do what eenox does is practice which clearly eenox has got alot of (not to understate the amount of practice he gets with not just Celeste but, precision platformers in general). My previous comment was meant as more advice then me boosting about how good i am just someone passing advice to another. we all have our weaknesses to certain things and not everyone will achieve what eenox did(only ~3% of steam players even completed the chapter let alone get the moon berry). That is not to put anyone down but, to say that's ok if everyone achieved what this guy did it would cease to be special

I am still amazed. Between, which golden berries do you have? I have: A: 1 and 2 B: 2 C: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 (all except 7)
@@nnslife I've actually picked up this game recently though to be honest i played a pirated version a couple years before i bought it where i had all the C-side golden berries and 1-A golden berry however, because i enjoyed it so much i ended up buying it on my steam and played it again back to back so when i got to farewell i still had the mechanics in my head i plan on doing the golden berries again but, i am taking a small break after i spent an entire night completing farewell since i couldn't get past 8:33. I admittedly have a long way to go before i will be achieving any golden berries on my steam account since its been so long between playthroughs yet, ive already got 1-A golden since i needed to get a feel for golden berries again i plan on getting every single one but, this isn't the only game i'm working on 100% not to mention i have dedicated some time to other activities that i've put off so it'll be awhile. Ill update you with any progress on them. also good job on collecting those berries i find c-side to be the easier ones to get i am currently working on getting the first c-side berry though haven't attempted it for awhile do you feel the same?

It seems like the point of the golden berries is to get people to realize that some things aren't worth doing. There's no reward aside from doing it, so if it's not something you enjoy, don't force yourself to do it. I don't particularly enjoy the golden berries, so I haven't bothered. I enjoy speedrunning Any% though, so I do that sometimes for fun.
