Fantastic update Dennis! The dipstick really looks scale and belongs there. That alternator really finished the front end of that motor. Good to see you look recharged and ready to get at it this week. You did look frazzled in your last video!.
Awesome work my friend ! That is incredible and then with the alternator wow ! You are a very smart guy . I miss working with you I hope you're doing well 👍 .
Very interested to see how the alternator works for you, that would be a nice thing to remove the ignition battery pack. The dipstick is great! I've just been using a small white zip tie, but this is so much better. Some people have been noticing that the rods are banging the guide holes in the heads slightly, possibly due to slop in the lifters and valve adjusters as they are just using those socket head screws. Might be something to keep an eye on, or find a way to improve.
Awesome upgrade I hope the new Toyan V8 gets an alternator I love this engine But it's very expensive But artwork is expensive for a reason I want to see it on a truck soon!
What is the longevity of these little replica motors? I want to get into it, but I would like to know if their whear items are made out of Chinesium or something harder like tool steel or at least hardened in some way?
Some day I'll have one of these engines. I just looked up the length of a 350 intake manifold and it looks like 16-17 in. It's the middle of the night and I'm being lazy to go out and measure. But I'm sure you could figure out the scale. Or I can do it if you want? Could I get the length of the intake?
can anyone tell me here what to time the engine at? i have it currently timmed at 0 degreese at TDC i try to start my V8 but i get back pressure out of the carberator but it also pulls a vacuum when i plug it. shes got spark, shes got fuel she just makes no audible attempt to even fire. Any ideas?
My first thought is to set your distributor 180 deg from top dead center and try it getting back pressure out of the carb is either 180 out on your ignition or valve lash is too tight,
Its so nice to se your vids. Merry cristmas man.

I love these small v8s so cool. I would love to see one od these engines put into a RC car for fun. A build series would do amazing on this channel
This is so cool to watch you build. I had no idea they even made alternator kit's for these.
Love the saucer style air cleaner!
