- Hey guys,
A short video series of my journey of restoring / cleaning up a Kawasaki Zx6R P7F as a winter project.
Will be a few videos long just showcasing some of the techniques used to deep clean the bike along with some fairing repair work.

i had the same baike, sold her with 85000 km, i did a compression test before selling it and I was surprised that the engine had almost the same compression as it comes from the factory 131/134/131/134 psi, I also used it for several track days.
if you do the oil changes on time all the time that engine will last forever, very good bike
Such a big misconceptions that bike engines are only good for 30k miles..... Keep them lubed up and they will go and go!
Need help with parts for my bike use parts its a yama 750 am from Jamaica Am a big fan
@@adventure5249 People always say 25-30kmiles for sports bikes because they think everyone is out there racing them at the track everyday lol Public road miles and track miles are completely different. You abuse a bike wayyyyy harder on the track then public roads

Hey, you see these red pins/tabs/clips, one connecting to the fuel tank and the other to the airbox. How on earth do you put them back in place, I have spent hours trying to, but it does not want to go back. I would really appreciate your answer.
Silicone spray I would say is your best bet. Lubes it up well and then should click in 👍
@@joelpalmer6869 Good idea, didn't think abput it. Thank you ;)
