First off: thanks - great video. Excellent editing from various cuts, to music, etc. You two have great chemistry and I appreciate y'all's breadth and depth of knowledge of all things pertaining to life afloat. You are truly living life.
We know the feelings. I am 71 and my sweetheart is 38. We are hoping to launch our sailing life sometime in the next year. Maybe we will catch up with you two at some point
There’s a simple rule that saved us many times. When you see a big storm, go to deep water. The boat can handle waves, rain and wind. Trouble starts when coralreefs or rocks get in the way( or other boats at anchor ) stay deep… stay safe
William is my kind of guy. I am his age and have total respect for his skills and thought process about life. You two are such a compliment to each other. I look forward to the next episode. Great channel and interesting, fun content.

Hi there I just started watching your videos. I've been planning on making the move to off grid boat life. I can't wait to do it after watching your videos it gives me more incentive to do it. I'm in toronto and never been on the ocean in my life so im pretty excited about it
Hello Friend!!! Here we are again looking at storm tracks!!! Seems like yesterday. Prayers to you and will be super to see your stubborn butt back on the water. Boat life connects some folks for an hour and some for life. Capt W and Iana
Thanks again for showing us instances where you have to think outside the box. I started carrying 2 5 gallon pails of potable this last winter in case the marina shut off the water, as we only have enough for 2 weeks at a time. The heads do have the raw water lever if we don’t mind the smell of decaying seawater in the blackwater tank, but rainwater and collected hand wash water works very well also.
Hello Yes we sail whenever there is wind. The last few months been traveling south with trade winds from the South. It is not worth the effort to chart a course based solely on wind. Now that we have turned north have had sails up each day! What a good feeling to use some of the free wind power. Thanks for being here!
@@DawnHunters I always look forward to watching your videos. I can't get out because of my cancer and other things wrong with me so you guys are the only pleasure I get. God bless both of you, take care and be safe.
They do, but William hasn't had the time to set it up yet and after all the time it took him to restore the Dawnhunter they decided to enjoy themselves
You two have grown on me massively. Just so you know we don't have rabies in the Bahamas (we have a lots of other things, but not that). If you pass through Great Exuma again, it would be lovely to have a cocktail or two with you, so you can find out more about the real Exuma's.
Thank you Steve! We are still trying to get to DR but the life with us changes daily so who knows where we will end up and when lol. Shoot us an email - maybe we’ll get together somehow! Yes, I know - believe me W educated me on all this before I left to Miami for rabies vaccination. But being a crazy doctor I just knew I wouldn’t sleep for the next year just thinking of a 0.0000001% possibility lol so I had to do this for my own head iana
@@DawnHunters Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining, it's why I keep coming back! A comedy sailing channel works for me. A refreshingly different take on boat life, anyway.
Good question! In reality it depends on the location - sometimes I buy a bunch but they rotten on the boat pretty fast and I don’t have enough space in the fridge to keep them there. So it really depends on a lot of factors. The other thing is that you can’t buy what you want on islands - only what they have currently available and all of that is imported from US. So the quality of the fresh produce once it gets here is not good to be honest.
@@DawnHunters That’s too bad. You guys should put some vegetable pots on your boat. Cherry tomatoes, sweet peppers etc… you get full sun and a little fresh water, I bet they would do really well.
I see everyone advertising ag1 and have been thinking about trying it but the way they push it on all the different channels has me a bit sceptical. a bit of energy would be nice though lol
@@DawnHunters Reading your comments, people here love your style so I wouldn't change just for my sake. You're quirky and that's probably a good thing with so many yachting videos coming out now. You seem like a great couple to have a bbq/dinner with, laugh a minute! Just with this video I was expecting storms, high seas, bla bla, then it was a messy fly bridge, martial arts on the foredeck, fashion parade, shopping.... I need more sleep to cope with that HAHAHA
