Whether people want to accept it or not, reality is Brandon Miller was not charged for the fatal shooting. Legally he’s not guilty of anything. Should talk to Darius Miles, he committed the crime.
Darius Miles didn't do the shooting, his friend did. Darius Miles gave the gun to his friend. Darius is being charged with Capital murder as an accessory but didn't shoot anyone. Brandon Miller gave the gun to Darius Miles. If Brandon Miller doesn't bring the gun, no one dies. How is it that Darius Miles can get life, possibly death, and Miller gets to play in the NBA and they did basically the same thing that night? He handed a gun to a guy that handed a gun to a guy that murdered a woman.
@@bmetturabecause Darius knew about the altercation at the bar. While miller was at home. If there were texts saying "hey we have an issue with a guy, bring my gun" then yea he probably would be an accessory. But it seems he was just returning the guys gun.

I don't see any remorse from this young man. You don't have to speak in detail of the case to address his feelings regarding loss of life. At the end his decision started the chain reaction of events. He directly hasn't had to deal with any consequences of his actions. He never got charged, never got suspended, and was still a high draft pick and more important he gets to live a charmed life moving forward. I'm sure the parents of the young lady will sue Brandon Miller via civil case and go after his new found wealth which will never be enough to get back their grandson and daughter. Just very sad situation all around.
Brandon did nothing wrong how was he supposed to know his teammate wanted to kill someone he had no intent to hurt anyone he just wanted to hang out with his friends he has all the right to still play
Simple. You don't bring someone a gun late and night that sounds mad. No it's not illegal but if his friend was in danger..call the police. Nothing good is going to come out of asking someone to bring you a strap.

It’s sad that he can’t see a gun he gave a team mate killed a young mother…. Sad. He will go on to play in the NBA, the other players face serious chargers. The gun should have never been in play at all.

Key word "Bring Me My Gun." It WAS NOT Brandon's gun. Period. Base your facts of opinion off the law and not the internet/media. If you disagree about what went down, blame you and your local politicians who don't vote better people to be in position of power to change the laws in the favor or manner in which you agree with. When all is said and done if he wants to really ease the minds of the world, take a live open lie detector test. Honestly, he doesn't even have to do that. If there are any body language experts out there, what do you think???
Even if it wasn’t Brandon’s gun, that doesn’t make him any less of a possible accessory to a murder (I say possible bc I can say for sure). @MMALifestyle1972 The gun wasn't his teammates either. Miller drove it to Darius Miles who then gave it to his friend who did the shooting. Darius Miles is being charged with capital murder as an accessory even though he didn't pull the trigger. So, what did Darius do that Brandon Miller didn't? Do you wanna see Brandon miller cry or nah imagine how’s he feeling in this whole interview with ESPN when someone dies theirs nothing more you can do what do you expect from this man
What most of you misinformed commenters haven't once acknowledged. Darius Miles was not the only gunman, Jamea Harris's boyfriend pulled a gun on them. Her boyfriend is just as liable for her death than Miles. 2. Brandon Miller was NOT involved in the shooting itself, but was a witness to it. He has properly cooperated with investigators from that night through right now. You people keep making puns on here for likes and other pigheaded replies. If you have ever stepped in front of a class and was made to give a speech..how many times did you sound like a shaky nervous robot? Not everyone is blessed to have no nervousness in the spotlight. Give the man a break! His will and determination to do the right thing by giving his witness statement over and over against the ACTUAL shooters, is him honoring the life lost in Jamea Harris. Tell us how you would handle it if your friend, a brother, a sister, or or a cousin, etc... was the one threatened by a gun from the boyfriend of the victim? Brandon Miller is only guilty of being a witness to a tragic situation. Now everyone take a breath and find out before you blame 1 guy that was never the guys that pulled the trigger.
Brandon Miller was interviewed by police at least 3 times, not to mention turning over his cellphone and dashcam footage. Video footage from cameras on the block.backed up HIS story..Meanwhile her coward bf cant even be found. So who has honored her more? Brandon Miller, not Cedric Johnson
So nobody knows what the situation was prior to his teammates saying bring the gun?regardless of somebody losing a life a lot of people not just this situation take turns who really knows what was going and it’s easy not feeling sorry it’s life remember people die every day pick ya head up n keep moving nobody wants to see somebody in jail the same with Losing a life but condolences to her family
The story was that the Darius Miles (or his friend) were making comments at the young lady while walking on the campus strip trying to get her attention. Her boyfriend stepped in and words were had. A few minutes later- They were firing at her boyfriend - missed him and killed her on the passenger side of the car.
I'm sorry but I don't feel bad for Brandon or none of the others. No, he didn't do anything illegal but I'm not taking a gun to someone who asks me when it's 1. Clearly late at night and 2. The person that asks me to bring the gun appears to be upset in asking me to do so. It's pretty obvious that nothing good would come from someone asking you to bring them a gun. If they were in danger...call the police. Not ask someone to bring you a gun. I feel like everyone had some blame in the situation that caused a death. And they need to take accountability.

We are sitting here talking about a 20 yr old , whose mother just fought breast cancer. Maybe a bad interview but why demonize him when he did nothing leagally wrong . As for comparing it to Ja, his is not an employee of the NBA yet so how couild the NBA punish him .
Also another note on Ja he’s flaunting a weapon like he a gangster or trying to film his next trap music video then once it was not looked at with the best light he apologized said it wouldn’t happen again and then proceeded to do it again a month later while Brandon brought back a legal gun owner his legal gun I’m sad what happened after he did that but that’s what he did so idk why him and ja are compared besides their being a gun in the incident

Brandon Miller is only guilty of being a witness to a tragic situation. Now everyone take a breath and find out before you blame 1 guy that was never the guys that pulled the trigger.
