I'm super sorry to hear about this as an Alabama fan, but quite frankly, it seems to me that Brandon Miller is culpable in this crime. He brought a gun to a scene that was used to shoot an innocent young woman. As good a basketball player as he is, the fact is, he made a poor choice and I think was some forethought. Alabama season is about to go down the drain all because of a very stupid decision.
He didn't bring it to the scene , the gun was left in his car by Myles . Miller never touched the gun and never associated with the shooter that night.
I'm glad someone from your fan base sees to whole picture. It's sad. This will also hurt getting future players. Mom asking oats so if my son does something stupid lil or big will you handle him like a father? Yes mam I sure will I'll protect him so nothing happens I definitely won't suspend him till I at least get all facts. I'm sorry your son took another player a gun and it was used to kill a young mother. Btw your son's car was used to block the road keeping victims from fleeing. I'm sorry I don't teach my players to walk way or I don't teach them to put gun way n if have to settle issues do it like a man 1v1 fist only. Hey your son didn't get shot. My player didn't get shot. Why is he still playing? Why is the coach still employed? Why is ESPN airing thus game? Unbelievable
Alabama. Lax gun laws. He gave someone a gun they owned. What's the crime?
Because money is their MASTER.
Because it can't be proven he did anything wrong. You're allowed to give someone a gun without automatically being responsible for what they do with it..
If that was your mom, sister, or wife then your attitude would change. It’s his responsibility to know the intent. He didn’t drop a shotgun off at the farm or hunting camp. The place he dropped the gun off matters. Late night on the strip where tons of drunk kids are partying is no place to bring a loaded gun. Maybe nobody can prove it but I’m positive Miller knew he was delivering a gun to a friend who had beef going on. There’s only 2 things you would need a gun for at the club. Robbery or murder. Their lives weren’t in danger . They could have just left the bar without incident. They were pinned down behind a wall taking on live gunfire when the police gun was delivered.
The fact that the university knew that he was involved and didn’t come out publicly earlier with a statement as to why they continued to let him play is damning.
Couldn’t imagine someone killing my daughter and just watching the man who took the killer the gun and didn’t help her after she was shot just out their still living his dream
Facts, dude did not miss one dribble, now he's going to the tournament and NBA will live the good life while the innocent girl is dead. No accountability if you can play sports, just ask O.J. Simpson.
Welcome to America
Jesus cry me a River
So they won't talk about how that there are text messages showing that miller brought the weapon to the scene.
Miles left the gun in his car, and Miller only got the text afterwards. It also wasn't his gun, and he didn't pull the trigger.
Let’s dispel two falsehoods: 1)The text message not only told Miller to bring a gun, but it told him why, which was to deal with a guy who was fakin. That shows that he knew he was being the gun to be used in a crime, even if he only thought that crime would be intimidation. 2) he showed up with a friend in another car. The two of them blocked in the victim. Why would two cars show up? Because they knew they were coming to intimidate, even if they had no idea Davis would actually kill someone. 3) the Tuscaloosa DA is a highly political elected office. Any justification they offer for not bringing charges is only a reflection of what they consider good politics. Very clearly, you charge him with accessory to murder, and depending on if he’ll testify against the shooter, you plead him down. This is a disgrace. Bama fans are not only are they showing a serious lack of intelligence, but they’re also coming off as repulsive human beings. Any team that drafts Miller is going to deal with a genuine fury from a ton of fans, including their own. Idk how good he is, and he is very good.
Neither of your first two points have been proven, including your assertion that the text said why he wanted the gun. It looks like he may not have received the message about taking the gun until after he was in route to pick up the other player. If he was involved to that level BELIEVE ME he would have been charged with something. Text are easy to real and I'm sure there is plenty of video.
@Paul F He was en route and 4 minutes away when the text came through.
I wonder if it was a bench player instead of Brandon miller I wonder what would’ve happened 🤷♂️

Even if there was no crime, the school still doesn't have to let him play. They can still decide that intentionally bringing a gun to someone he knew was out at a bar drinking warrants a suspension, even if he didn't actually break the law.
Why are people so dumb that’s the main time you would want to have your gun people drunk and act crazy . The man brought the person the gun and they made a poor decision he has no controls over what anyone did . American give 18+ year olds gun teach them how to kill and shoot others. Good for Alabama!! In this day and age we take any allegation and say "He's guilty lock him up." We wait for nothing but the media to ruin someone's life. Let's WAIT until this ALL plays out and everything is out on the table. At that point when the investigation is over, and EVERYTHING is done, THEN render punishment or not. At this point, imo, it's too early. It's too bad someone died, obviously, but today we rush to judgment immediately for any accusation.

Your priorities are completely screwed up. Just because the investigation had not yet figuredroute all the details at the time of the shooting doesn't mean that they won't eventually come out and that those responsible shouldn't be Is charged. @Don FONTANA the investigation is done and over with. There's dashcam footage and CCTV footage showing that Miller had no involvement with the shooting. Miles' gun was in his car, but he was not aware of that fact until later on and, even then, he was just returning the gun to its rightful owner. Don't act like anybody cares that deeply about her passing either. It is unfortunate, but most of these people are just using this as a chance to take down Alabama's sports programs. I bet I care about her death just as much, or maybe even more than some of these people
