***** About Living Traditions Homestead *****
Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.
We put out 2 new videos every week! Wednesday and Saturday. We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we give up the rat race and live simpler, more fulfilling life in the country.

Y'all remember to hit the 👍 button for Kevin & Sarah

That was very fun to see all the animals - glad they are all ok; this heat is a scorcher. God bless y'all too!
Very clean pig pen.amazing, responsible farmers.cleanest and organized farm...
You are such an encouragement! I pray for your continued successes.
God bless you both.
You both do such a great job. So meticulous with your farm, your animals, and your gardens. I can see why you are over 700k. There is no way you could probably ever know the amount of families you have helped with their homestead journey. God has blessed you to bless others. There is great responsibility but also great rewards in these blessings. Just wanted to let you know you have many prayers from your viewers. I for one think you’re doing an amazing job. Bravo and God bless. 👩🌾🙏💙☀️
Praying for all the farmers, ranchers and their animals. Great work to feed us all!
❤️
Amen
Amen!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you
You guys really seem to have it figured out. Your hard work is paying off.
I hope you all get some relief from this heat and lack of rain. Sending best wishes for cooler temps and some good rain. Cheers 🇨🇦🌷
You're doing my kind of living guys, unfortunately at 70 I'm not in a position to do that but enjoy the heck out of watching ur videos
Praying for all farmers right now 🙏🏻
All the animals are looking awesome. Sad 😢 for the drought.
Please take care and be safe
I will for sure pray for the farmers because of the drought. We all need prayers.
I just discovered your channel, when I was searching for instructions on how to make mozzarella cheese. I know zero about farming, or homesteading. I am very concerned about climate change & how it is affecting family farming. I'm sticking around to see how y'all are making out. I am rooting for you & all of the hard-working farmers & homesteading families 👪 😀! I will share this video on my Facebook page.
Kevin & Sarah are the best.
You will find that the life they live is the way the Earth should be taken care of.
@@gerrymarmee3054 I believe that!
Prayers for all the homestead/farmers. Hope you get some relief from this drought soon. God bless you and yours.

You both are amazing, thank you for all your hard work, the way you treat your animals is a testament to your kindness and love of the land.I for one are in love with your story.God Bless you and your family.

Prayers that you and that all the farmers have cooler days in the near future as well as a steady flow of rain, Lord Jesus bless all farmers. Thank you Jesus Praise God Almighty ❤️🙏❤️ AMEN ❤️
As I was driving back to our house today, it started raining. We didn’t get a lot, but some. Al I could think about was how much other areas of the US need it! May God help all of us with each of our needs!
Amen!!!
You reap what you sow. You take good care of your animals with food and shelter and they reward you with your meals. Same goes for your garden. You put in the work, heat wave and all, an you get the benefit. Things don't just happen, and you guys are doing more than your part. Stay cool, pray for rain. Great property!
I’m happy everyone is doing good in this heat and drought. God bless you all!
I admire you guys. Taking care of animals in regular weather is work enough, let alone in oppressive heat! So thankful you’re humane and compassionate towards them…
Praying for rain & cooler weather for you & the surrounding area!
Thanks for sharing, it is tough we have cattle, chickens and 2 cats. You all look like you are feeling better. Take care and God continue to bless you as you bless us.
We're praying for you all!
Those little piglets are so cute. Love how they all get in a straight line to eat.
This is Mona I'm 66 years old visually impaired so I'm speaking into a microphone no function I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your life and your world I love it when you show the animals I love everything you show but I and I love the cooking too but I love it when you show the animals and I love y'all and them too God bless you all Christ love and peace in your home and with your girls thank you again shalom by the way just one Gabby up I'm here in clintonville Wisconsin and it's been a pretty mild summer we've had some days over the '90s but I can count on one and a half hands those days it's really hasn't been much but I live upstairs in an apartment that's insulated well and I only got a 110 Air condition it's still it's working but it struggles it doesn't really cool this place down but when it's 90° outside it does cause it where it's not like dangerous heat in this apartment but it's still very very hot even with the air condition so I do sympathize and I do understand I live 40 years in Texas and I live there at least two summers without any air conditioning at all in an old trailer and I'll tell you that's something I'll never want to repeat anyway thanks for sharing love y'all
Wow that was beautiful to see all your well loved and cared for animals. Thanks for sharing.
You two are absolutely top notch.
Beautiful beautiful people, through and through.
In this community, I'd say the best thing we can all do for one another is stay on our knees about what we do on our feet every single day.
Thanks for your videos.
They encourage us to keep going, even when the 'medicine' is hard to swallow.
There's alot transpiring. You guys remind us to keep going... that it's worth it.
Love seeing the animals- praying for rain 🌧 for everyone that needs it.
So sorry you and so many others are having to deal with extreme heat stress. Seems like you have planned well and are coping. God bless us all.
Are you always so sweet to the babies when you feed them, or do you have days where you tell them to just make themselves a bowl of cereal that you're going back to bed? 😁
All the animals are doing well, even in the heat. We are hot here also. I believe most all States are going through extremely difficult 😥 weather. Let us hope cool weather will come sooner 🤔
God bless. Prayers for the farmers
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this update on the animals. You have figured out how to make life fun and never boring. As the world ranchers are selling off their cattle due to droughts & little hay production, our future prices for meat is going to break the bank for most families. Mother Nature is in charge. You can survive just fine with protein. God Bless.
Hi. It was 105°f yesterday. It was brutal, were not used to that in England. Take care & God bless ♥️♥️
normal summers day for australians come to marble bar daily averages 49 Celsius
@@david020218 OMG I couldn't cope with that
@@david020218 Wow 😳
I had no doubt that your animals would be doing fine. 😊 You both are so great at caring for your animals and plants. Also, you work so hard at preserving and caring for your family's needs. You are so humble and are great rile models. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Much love to your family! 🥰🤗❤
I love the fact that you guys love your animals! Great job... God bless the farmers and your homestead also. I will pray for rain and peace for all.
Animals and birds look good despite the heat. Hopefully you get some rain soon.
Great job, as usual. We appreciate you and other farmers/homesteaders who do the hard work, no matter the conditions. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning Living Traditional Homestead.
With the lack of grass, I've been giving hay to my pigs along with their feed. They don't eat nearly as much as the goats and horses, but they're always happy to get it and it keeps their bellies happy throughout the day until their evening feed.
We have similar weather here in NY. Stay safe in that heat.
Praying for you and your neighboring farmers in the drought now. 💕
Prayers for the farmers out there. Love the tour of the animals. Thank you for sharing your experiences. Praying for your family as well.
Wow you guys are doing so well and what a pleasure to see the farm being developed for your permanent home
You are such good stewards of the animals and land God has blessed you with. It's always a joy watching you share your life with us. God bless!
The countryside there is absolutely beautiful. I love it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like the way you run your homestead, always planning, always looking for the best livestock, always keeping it real. God Bless all of you.
I love seeing all the animals they are the stars by far ✨ 💖 💛 💜
Michigan climate looking better...
Ps. Sarah you got it,the weather is hott,, A halter or tank top on you would be sweet, show what the good lord gave you once in a while! 😇
Up here in Northeastern Washington we got all your rain! We are just now getting warm days. Wish I could send you some❣
When it rains like that here, very little or lightly, we call that "dust control" lol
Kevin and Sarah all will be well. You are both thoughtful and intentional. These hard times will not set you back too much. Blessings to you both. May your farm always provide for your beautiful family.
our Ohana are praying for you all, and we are glad the animals are doing well. . God bless you and your Ohana.
You guys are truly blessed. I am so happy to see you handling the difficult times with such thankfulness and happiness, may God continue to bless your hard work.
🥵 farmers are the hardest working people I know! Thank you for sharing your day
This is the first time I've recall watching ducks they waddle California
Thank you for sharing! Blessings to you and your family!✝🙏🏼🕊💖
The ducks are always so cute and goofy 🤗
Prayers for your farm
Family and for all
Of those struggling with the drought and hot weather. We depend on our farmers for food security and to supplement our own pantries. 🙏🙏
Sending prayers for rain and cool breezes. Those little piggies are precious!
My prayers for all the farmers and for RAIN
I’m praying for your family and friends around the world for whatever needs to be accomplished.
I helped take care of the neighbours chickens and ducks. I will never get tired of watching them rushing noisily out of their coop and going for food and water in the mornings. I also got a kick out of them reluctantly going back into the coop at night. Reminded me of going to the office job on monday morning and heading out on friday's for the weekend. Best smile tonic.
This was SO fun to see all the animals. It is wonderful to know that you are raising so many animals which feed yourself and your family but I believe that one day we will all be bartering to get through what is coming. God Bless your farm and I continue to Pray for all the farmers out there!!! I'm 71 and hauling water from house roof to keep my gardens alive. I dont grow as much food as others but I grow enough to put up for later. Keep working hard everyone.
You are very blessed.
Good Morning!! Animals are looking good. The drought is brutal this year for lots of people. Praying for Rain!!
Very nice job raising all your animals. Thank you for taking time to show us the progress. Love the quail barn, The rabbits are o.k. Many blessings to you and yours including all being healthy. Praying for rain is the call. Please God, send the rain, thank you.
Good to see you feeding the pigs on the ground. They are getting lots of minerals from that soil! Smart.
You can get some mist spraying used in irrigation to but these can be erected high along walls, fences etc that will mist spray water over cattle or areas to keep them cool.
Having watched the channel for at least a couple of years I can honestly say that you put a great deal of thought into all the things that you do on your farm properties and you not been so vain and not willing to admit when you didn't make the best decision or even make a simple mistake really love the growth you've been showing over the years and sharing your lessons learned. I hope that you rest well during the night knowing that you have given your best in your work during the day! Continued prayers for good health, growth, success and prosperity
You are doing absolutely wonderful with all your animals. They look great!! Your hands sure are full.
While the ponds are dry, it’s the perfect time to clean them out. That way, when the rains come, the pond can hold more water. Deeper the pond, the better. Surface space allows for more/ faster evaporation. Even if you have the ponds cut 2’ deeper, it will be a benefit. This also give the opportunity to clean the edges and smooth out dips and valleys where the cattle track the edges.
It also would hurt to run your pigs in a pond area that’s about dried up. They help clean up the pond(s) as well. They will wollow the banks and pack some of the loose/soft dirt. Making for a more stable edge.
Very informative ❤️
Awesome info!!! 👍👍👍👍
Good idea if it wasn't sooo hot 😉
It is amazing what you don't know about farming. This is a great way to spread information. Thank you.
Always thought a pond took care of itself. This is why I read these replies.
You are an inspiration to me the way you manage your animals and homestead!😊🐓🐓
Thank you for being positive in such an unreal world
Yes, this heat is oppressive. It's rough on everything. I've got to step up my prayers for the farmers and gardeners. My little container garden has produced well with lots of watering, but the plants are struggling now. We've been blessed and have shared and canned every bit of the vegetables.
Love your ATV hood ornament. Enjoy y'all am keeping y'all in my prayers.
@@kenhartman9981 I'm doing fine.
I'm from USA
I just moved from Oklahoma. I lived there for 20 years. I moved back to my home town in Illinois.
All is well. Nice and quiet.
God Bless you Guys. Thanks for all you Share! God Bless Again!!!
Praying for all of you! You’re such good stewards of what God have blessed you with. 🙏🙏💕
I can’t imagine having a homestead in this heat but you guys…seriously make it look easy!! It’s amazing people like you guys who really help me put things in perspective in terms of my homestead dreams. I LOVE your videos, they are a blessing. Showing/talking about the rabbits instantly brought me back in time. Growing up in central Illinois, I raised and showed two giant French Floppies and I have this vivid memory of my mom yelling at me to get the inside hutch ready bc we would be getting a long heat spell. My momma always taught me rabbits do NOT like to be out in the heat. 😆 everything looks so beautiful on the homestead!! ❤️
In Saskatchewan Canada. We're just coming out of a 3 year drought so I feel your pain. Now we've got 30 C temps with humidity. Isn't usually humid here so we're suffering from that. There's always something for us to complain about 😁 Stay safe in the heat.
Thank you very much! I am 75 years old, but am blessed to have .4 acre to work with. As soon as I can raise fodder and provide shelter I am preparing to raise one or two rabbits for garden manure.
I grew up in dairy country an so enjoyed all of your animals.
This is my first year to garden alone and I am truly a novice, but so far I am testing out Motherland Okra, Walking Stick Kale and Thousand Head Kale for fodder.
Thank you again 🐰
Great work Kevin and Sarah. This heat is hot... Makes it tough, but you guys are doing it just fine.
When I was 25 I bought a half pig that has be given apples in the last time of her life. And all the meat had a small taste of these apples. It was very good. I never forget that.
Yes it's real!, My Great Pyrenees that was only 4 years old passed from a heat stroke a week ago. I'm heartbroken
Always a pleasure to drop in for a visit , I always learn something good and useful....Thank you...
We are always praying for our farmers may the drought be lifted soon so grass can grow and cattle can thrive . Blessings 💕🇺🇸🙏
God Bless you both....I don't know how you both do everything you do! ❤️
Still praying for ☔️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lovely video both hopefully you have rain soon.👍🥰🥰

Here at Dry Hollow Homestead near Oxford Arkansas, we are feeling the same pain of drought and high temps. It’s been tough on everybody.
I didn't realize you guys had so many animals...WOW!!! COOL!!!
I know it's a lot of work...especially with those heat temps. Will say a special prayer for all farmers everywhere for rain. Hope you all get rain soon.
All of them look great!! You guys are doing a great job!!! Where do you ever get enough time to take care of so many animals & gardening too??? Oh my goodness!!! I admire the two of you so much!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
You have Beautiful animal's who are very well taken care of.
You guys are doing a magnificent job with your work, your home, and definitely your content 👏 great job 🌟
We have been in a drought every year so know what you are talking about. Praying for rain and all the farmers and ranchers .
