@@arfarms5711 My dad's late cousin lived in Oklahoma in a town on the panhandle. He was a mechanic who fixed farm equipment and he would travel to the farms in OK and TX and stay on those farms until the work was finished. I remember he called one time and we talked about what he did for a living and he said thank God he's retired because all of the new equipment is tough to fix and work on because of the computers and he said the same thing you did and that is things break down a lot more than they used. In my case, I used to work on my car all the time when I was younger, it was easy to work on and you can actually get to each part easier than you could now. The engines now are not only run by computers but they are squeezed in and its almost impossible to get to certain parts of the engine. What's crazy is that in the past you had the big V8 engines and larger in cars and you can work around them easily, but now with 6 cylinders or small you would think it would be easier but they are packed tight for some reason. Case and point, I had to chance the alternator on my 2006 Ford Escape, and getting to it was near impossible, it's squeezed into the back and you cannot get to it from the top of the engine and the only way to get to it is through the wheel well on the passenger side...I honestly felt like setting the damned car on fire.
I feel this build has far more complex than your last one nice to see that your upgrades ever really come along only thing is I don't see a link for the projector
I bought my son a projector like that when he went to college, and he loved it. When a bunch of people wanted to watch movies, he would set it up in the common room and project it onto the wall and hook it up to some big speakers. It was like having a 100" flat screen with surround sound.
I pray for peace and strength during these times, This makes me want to do a van life, since my child is all grown now. Seriously will look into this. Thank you stay safe.
I a fan. I bought a van during the beginning of covid. I have watched over 1000 hours of van builds. I think yours is amazing. I'm a old retired widow lol I don't think I can recreate what you have done but I just love it. Stay safe and thanks for sharing.
I literally just bought a 1989 Econoline for $250 from a friend and found you while googling for ideas. This is exactly what I had in mind so I plan on buying your ebook as inspiration. I am a finish carpenter so I shouldn't have a problem with the build. Really excited to get started!
Really GOOD BUILD, and the only thing I would miss in this van is a bathroom, which is an absolute necessity for me. You did an INCREDIBLE JOB. Kudos to you 👌👌👌👏👏👏. What an awesome, GOD-gift you have!
I just randomly found out about your channel and I’m genuinely so impressed by your work. For sure earning a sub n endless likes from me, keep up the great work and doing what you do best!
You have a beautiful humble soul my brother. Don’t ever lose that bc you shine and give so many young ppl the motivation to get out and actually do/build things w their own hands.
unreal, thats some creative magic you got there legend. You gotta 2x clone yourself so you can do more builds. I wish you were in Australia to make me one! Keep going mate, cheers
Hey Australian build is possible. Ask him to come. Send him round trip tickets room and board. Build with him as a consultant (pre arrange payment with work visa) plus he gets to travel. Just Thinking?
Another cool build and in no way trying to be negative, just concerned that no one gets hurt. I worry whether that wood countertop could get damaged or even catch fire. If you put a pan on there for boiling pasta and have sauce cooking on the other burner its going to get a lot of heat. Granite or even a piece of tile around the burners might be safer.
One can put a protective metal layer under neath the lid when in use like they use behind wood stoves or something. But THAT gas strut! That is going to be in the way of cooking too?
@@longhairmullet those metal layers have a 1 inch minimum space between the metal and the wall materials and usually a distance of more than 12 inches between the metal and the stove. It may be perfectly safe, I claim no titles as to chief engineering overlord in charge of stove top distances. But it sure would suck to cook your dinner, sit down outside at the picnic table to enjoy nature while you eat and turn around to find your home on fire.
Love your builds. You put so much thought into them and it shows. I want to get a van slightly longer then this one and travel in the future. Must have a toilet. Shower would be a fantastic bonus. When that time comes it will be a dream come true to have my build done by you. Your channel is my favorite for sure. Very informative and excellent work. I've watched all your videos including all the ads. Hope that helps you deserve it. Can't wait to see what you do next. Keep up the good work. If you plan on making this a career the skies the limit for you and your talents young man. 👌
On the bottom of the counter when you flip up the wood for the stove maybe put some metal sheeting adhesed to underneath the counter wood part as a safety metal back splash for the stove so the wood is not exposed to the flames
I've seen alot of tours of vans and they all seem too "boutique" to be real... but this one really makes sense and seems to work. It sounds good when you turn it over too! I'm going to check out the other video. Neatly done.
You do some beautiful work. As a kid we moved constantly swore not to do it again. Married and lived happily in one place for 20 years. Won’t lie I did get itchy feet ever so often. Then company husband worked for closed down we moved into a camper and up to Pasadena lived in it for about 5 years love hate relationship with the camper. We finally got a house but wanted to keep the camper. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer had to sell camper. Now wish we still had it we are seniors now and would love to travel. Grandkids are all over the US.. I see your builds and fall in love with them.
🔴Love it! Love everything about it! Absolutely brilliant! Great idea with "hiding" the stove. Also love your couch to bed system. Seriously, this whole set up is absolutely BRILLIANT! Love your wooden flag also! God Bless America! 🇺🇸
I just watched another guy's van conversion and, although his available space was about 10x what you have here, yours is so much better planned out and actually seems more spacious! Seems like whatever you build is successful because you tailor it to the amount of available square footage. And, oh my God, that projector idea is genius! You keep buildin' 'em, I'll keep droolin' over 'em!
Great Job! Really liked the projector idea and safety cameras. Those vans were so roomy. How would you include a shower/ toilet plan?Or would that need to meet code standards? I have seen several wiring techniques for vans. It has been a fun journey watching your new ideas. Plan on buying your book too.👏👏👏
Na I think a bucket and heavy duty trash bag can suffice. Typical female comment though. Always thinking you can “improve” a mans work no matter how good it already is.
When did cameras replace windows and mirrors❓ I'd like to see a competition for the most minimalist live in mobile camper/wagon ever built.. my fav so far is a goat pulled bamboo wagon 😀 Go karts are keel..you don't have to be superfit to ride them..they could have optional second driver.. also sola driven engines with portable sun panels jakery..as long as you don't let them over heat your fine..you can have a small glass main one on roof
I must admit this is my favorite of your builds. I LOVE how open it feels yet it has so much in it. If I’m not mistaken I believe you do “flips” but do you do builds from potential customers who already have the van? Keep up the awesome work. Stay safe
This style van from the 1980s era is the reason why I want a modern class B camper van. I remember as a kid seeing these vans and wanting one bad. Incredible modern touches and that projector idea is lit! I was window shopping the Roadtrek 190 van but now I want an old school van gutted with modern interior floor plan.
Now this is something I could see myself in, P4 on deck 🔥 My grandpa had a van like this. It was so clean. Navy blue with light blue striping. Had a let out couch, swivel chairs and circle tables. And that was in the 90s. RIP Pawpaw 🙏🏿
Dude, this amazing!!!! I have always wanted to build one but thought it would be really expensive. I love what you did and probably will take some inspiration from this build. Thanks man!
Man this is AWESOME im imagining myself playing vidéo games in that vaan on the midle of nowhere , under the hard rain ,while chocolate milk is geting ready.
The most chill dude on the tube. I built out a 74 Dodge B-100 in 1980. Nothing like your work but I lived in the neighbors around parking between lots. Back in they day you could KOA for ^ bucks a night or 80 a month with showers and hook ups.
What a thoughtful conversion. The cleverness of the variable 'screen' is genius, the resin/wood lap desk is beautiful, and having a security system is prudent and useful. Not to mention, affordable. Thanks for posting this 'tour'.
I love how he show's us the people he hold's dear...Especially the four legged family member...The van is AWESOME and loved the vlogs of you creating your masterpiece...😀😀😀
The thing I love most about these builds is that he does them with a lot of OLDER vans that would really end up on the scrap heap. Most van builders do their builds with empty, new or next to new vans - NOT older vans! What a great way to recycle things! I also love that he uses simple materials that are easy to find and replace. I would point out two things though; that stove area is too narrow. Heat & polyurethane do not play well over time. There should be a little more space to make sure that heat and steam from your pots does not negatively affect the polyurethane coating. Also, you should have a wiring harness that covers your cables to protect them so they are not exposed and you should run them in a way that doesn't leave them exposed on the top of the van like that. Other than those things, good job! "Bears in the hood" - that was funny as heck! Anyway, keep up the great work! I love to see young black men doing great things! I'm the RUclips mom you never knew you had rooting for you from a distance! I love what you are doing and I hope that more people get to see your work because the more positive role models people see, the better! Stay safe!
Y’all ever wonder if people that make these vans/ trucks into homes ever have little sessions in their house cause I would, jus lay down put a movie and spark one
You mean like in the van after it’s been made into a camper/home? Hell yea I’ve always thought that too how nice would that be, pull up to your job early as hell and get some extra sleep, literally can wait until your shift is 2 mins from starting and stroll right in comfortably, work all day and then when you get off, you’re literally hopping in your fucking home.... that sounds so nice. Drive to wherever you’re parking for that night, cook some food, spark a joint and then lay back and relax watching a movie and eating dinner in your home..... sounds like paradise to me honestly. Maybe one day I’ll be able to make that happen
@@jaredcalvert9207 We think a lot a like, that's about how I see my van dwelling life going if I ever got into it. Maybe get a night job, spend nights at work and just go to whatever location for the day when you get off, (easy to blend in during the day that's a +)(maybe louder and harder to sleep that's a - ) who knows maybe you could even park at work for extended amounts of time if the employer would be okay with that. Your whole house would turn into your smoke den lol, I would set up some nice lighting around the van a little tv action, nice comfortable bed it would be great. The only thing I worry about is the space, because its so small I feel like the van would constantly smell like weed, that could be a problem if you're traveling through a certain state and get pulled over. It would just suck having your whole house getting searched for something like that. I'm interested in seeing if I ever end up taking on the van dwelling lifestyle, I think its worth a try at the end of the day, if it doesn't turn out you can always sell it and return to normal "sticks and bricks" living right?
best build content I’ve seen on the platform. dude is incredible at his craft, has a good sense of humor, and makes well put together videos. keep goin, your doin good!
I love the way you turn the Vans until a beautiful home living or vacation living how much do you sell them for could you say that at the end of your videos
What’s old is new again. Nice job and excellent “stealth” capabilities. Plus, being f150 based, you can get parts anywhere and cheap too! 👍 MY EDIT: I was talking to a friend about your “USC” (Urban Stealth Camper 😜) and he asked me what the “TOP cap looked like”. I remembered exactly what he was talking about as soon as he said it. That roof “extension” is pretty solid fiberglass and yours looks pretty good, but they are notorious for fading and or losing the “clear coating” and exposing the fiberglass. From what I could see yours looks real good and body does NOT appear to have typical Ford rust-rot holes. Might want to consider getting a quote from a decent paint shop what they would charge to JUST shoot a layer (or two) of clear-coating on whole van. You seem like a handy-guy so all you would need to do is light wet sanding on the whole van & TOP. They could clear coat it and that van would REAL stand out as a JUST A VERY WELL CARED FOR VEHICLE that could park in almost ANY neighborhood without drawing unwanted attention. Regardless, I’m rethinking my next project because of your build. THANKS!!😀
It's not and F150 base either, it's and E150 hardly anything is interchangeable between the two. The good thing is Ford and this body style from 75-91 3rd gen Econoline.
@@zacharyclement8100 you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Engine parts are identical from simple stuff like water-pump, ignition parts, etc. ALL the way down to transmission, rear end and brakes.

This is so awesome! I'm very limited in my knowledge of building things, how do you recommend someone in my position get started on something like this?
@@Dualex_Builds Yay, your video came back up in my recommend so I checked for a reply and here it is 2 months ago! I must have notifications off. Thank you and you're welcome. The new build looks cool! Do you get mechanical inspections done on your vans before purchasing?
Rear windows are a security vulnerability. At the minimum should have some blackout curtains there. And really should be sealed so someone doesn't smash their way in. To stay low profile put curtains in the windows, then seal them in with wood / metal. From the outside it would look normal, but would keep someone from just screwing with your electric system.
seeing the electrical stuff in the back makes me feel bit unsafe as you let the window bare in clean condition. this, i think will make some people who had a bad intention to mess you hardwork. at least cover tha back window with black curtain or sticker so others won't able to see the electrical power.

Thanks for sharing your creativity in these van videos. And, Merry Christmas!
I appreciate your super thanks! I hope you have a happy Holliday!
Love how this is retro and then you enter and its a condo with a pupper!
Awesome safety camera! Thank you for sharing honey! xoxo
Dude you literally thought of everything! Love that you used an old van too!
Thanks bro! Appreciate the support 💪
You amaze me with your talent, it's like watching an artist create a masterpiece!
Yoo that projecter idea is such a cool idea I would have never of thought of that
Thank you! Just trying to save space in the van as much as possible
It crossed my mind but i never know it would show that clear
I feel this build has far more complex than your last one nice to see that your upgrades ever really come along only thing is I don't see a link for the projector
I bought my son a projector like that when he went to college, and he loved it. When a bunch of people wanted to watch movies, he would set it up in the common room and project it onto the wall and hook it up to some big speakers. It was like having a 100" flat screen with surround sound.
@@zzanatos2001 that sounds pretty fun I would love to have one in my room at home
I pray for peace and strength during these times, This makes me want to do a van life, since my child is all grown now. Seriously will look into this. Thank you stay safe.
me too!
I a fan. I bought a van during the beginning of covid. I have watched over 1000 hours of van builds. I think yours is amazing. I'm a old retired widow lol I don't think I can recreate what you have done but I just love it. Stay safe and thanks for sharing.
Very refreshing to see a young, smart, hard working person making his way in this world. 👍👍👍👍
Underrated channel. Thanks for the knowledge mate 🇦🇺🇦🇺
I’m glad you like this channel and thank you!
I literally just bought a 1989 Econoline for $250 from a friend and found you while googling for ideas. This is exactly what I had in mind so I plan on buying your ebook as inspiration. I am a finish carpenter so I shouldn't have a problem with the build. Really excited to get started!
Dude this van conversion is awesome! Well thought out, simple, looks great.
I think this is one of the best van setups that I've seen. You did a great job, on this build.
Great job with the van. You have some very clever ideas. I like the curtain that doubles as a projecter screen.
I worried about that too
Captain Calamity does not approve your comment. 🤪
AGAIN,,, BLOWN AWAY... THIS IS WHAT AMBITION, TALENT & MANY OTHER QUALITIES GETS YOU..
On the bottom of the counter when you flip up the wood for the stove maybe put some metal sheeting adhesed to underneath the counter wood part as a safety metal back splash for the stove so the wood is not exposed to the flames
You do such a great job on converting these Van's. Love it
The van looks small from outside. But from inside it looks big. The utilisation of space is amazing.
I've seen alot of tours of vans and they all seem too "boutique" to be real... but this one really makes sense and seems to work. It sounds good when you turn it over too! I'm going to check out the other video. Neatly done.
I must say: THIS is how you make a video! Well done from start to finish!
Such a beautiful build! And even cooler that you did it. That lap desk is a work of art also. Bravo man 👏🏼
I used to live in the exact same model Econoline! Gotta say, really love what you did with it, my set up was waaaay more bohemian lol!
This man is just a straight legend for building this
Great Job! Really liked the projector idea and safety cameras. Those vans were so roomy. How would you include a shower/ toilet plan?Or would that need to meet code standards? I have seen several wiring techniques for vans. It has been a fun journey watching your new ideas. Plan on buying your book too.👏👏👏
All it needs is a Composting toilet, for night time, and especially now.
Especially now?
I feel I need one especially now too :'(
Na I think a bucket and heavy duty trash bag can suffice. Typical female comment though. Always thinking you can “improve” a mans work no matter how good it already is.
@@nagualdesign Covid. Nothing was open and allowing bathroom access.
@@MrByTheMile your sexism is showing. Be respectful.
Like that you just get into it, no chit chat. Subbed
When did cameras replace windows and mirrors❓
I'd like to see a competition for the most minimalist live in mobile camper/wagon ever built..
my fav so far is a goat pulled bamboo wagon 😀
Go karts are keel..you don't have to be superfit to ride them..they could have optional second driver..
also sola driven engines with portable sun panels jakery..as long as you don't let them over heat your fine..you can have a small glass main one on roof
Brilliant design work and execution. Bravo!
PS. It's not profit - it's the value of your time, labor and talent.
Hey man! This is just awesome!
Beautiful work! Just love the way
this looks!
Best wishes man!
Another one ☝️..... you’ve done a beautiful job again !!!
Thank you! I’m glad you liked this build
I must admit this is my favorite of your builds. I LOVE how open it feels yet it has so much in it. If I’m not mistaken I believe you do “flips” but do you do builds from potential customers who already have the van? Keep up the awesome work. Stay safe
I thought FOR SURE this was a Sprinter or other small house when I first saw it.
I'd hire him. He's awesome at this!
Hope Rules absolutely!!!! That’s why I ask! Lol
One of the cleanest builds I've seen on youtube... kudos man, you're a gem
Now this is something I could see myself in, P4 on deck 🔥
My grandpa had a van like this.
We used to have one of those old school 80's Econoline 150 vans growing up. Great vehicle and extremely versatile for camping.
This man should become a carpenter doing kitchens and custom furniture for high end homes really nice job dude!
Idk
Any installs with shower and toilet.
The last van had a camping toilet up front.
Bring a bucket and plastic bag lol
What a thoughtful conversion. The cleverness of the variable 'screen' is genius, the resin/wood lap desk is beautiful, and having a security system is prudent and useful. Not to mention, affordable. Thanks for posting this 'tour'.
I love this! Thinking of living in a minivan for about a year before moving to England.... You're build is phenomenal!
I love how he show's us the people he hold's dear...Especially the four legged family member...The van is AWESOME and loved the vlogs of you creating your masterpiece...😀😀😀
"I don't know if you got bears in the hood but you can see those too." Those damn hood bears I tell ya! 😂😂
Lmfao
Hahahahahaha..lol 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Stay safe!
That’s a beautiful old school van. You did an amazing job outfitting it. Very impressive.😎
Wow.... Excellent! I think the price is very very good considering the work and the creativity. It is very complete. I love it!
Wow. I'm a professional construction guy and I don't think I would have thought of half that stuff. Great job!
Wow, loved following this build. You rocked it bruh. That was a good price knowing how it was done. Can't wait to see the next one. ✌🏾
I’m glad you enjoy the process of these builds! And thanks for watching for all this time
Y’all ever wonder if people that make these vans/ trucks into homes ever have little sessions in their house cause I would, jus lay down put a movie and spark one
We definitely do bro.
@@jaredcalvert9207 your dream is to go to work and then sit in a van and smoke weed lol sounds like you are goin somewhere
@@jaredcalvert9207 I’m afraid it’s not hardly the paradise you’ve came to believe
Sounds like a very intelligent young man who made this van into his own home! Excellent!
best build content I’ve seen on the platform. dude is incredible at his craft, has a good sense of humor, and makes well put together videos. keep goin, your doin good!
This is probably my favorite build thus far and 90% of it is the ability to play games with a projector just like I do in my house.
Where did you learn all your carpentry and wood making skills I just found your channel today
Efrain Inc. I’m self taught. I just started by getting info on RUclips and then trying stuff on my own. My goal is just to improve over time
I love the way you turn the Vans until a beautiful home living or vacation living how much do you sell them for could you say that at the end of your videos
Huh?? I thought he did, "very clearly"!
He did say how much he sold it for
What’s old is new again. Nice job and excellent “stealth” capabilities. Plus, being f150 based, you can get parts anywhere and cheap too! 👍
MY EDIT: I was talking to a friend about your “USC” (Urban Stealth Camper 😜) and he asked me what the “TOP cap looked like”.
I love how you didn’t mess with the cab, that old school look is fantastic. I remember when conversions were the new thing, 7” TVs, VCRs and if you were really rich you had a Nintendo too.
The projector is the best idea I've heard instead of a TV saves lots of space
one of the coolest builds i've ever seen.
This is so awesome! I'm very limited in my knowledge of building things, how do you recommend someone in my position get started on something like this?
*Take some classes in carpentry in your area, do tons of research and start practicing on simple builds.*
Nice! Do you have links for the projector and the wireless charger please?
I forgot to add those to my website thank you for reminding me! www.amazon.com/dp/B07J5828NS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CVmOEb2K9J280
Thanks, I was going to ask the same thing. Great build by the way! :
@@Dualex_Builds Yay, your video came back up in my recommend so I checked for a reply and here it is 2 months ago! I must have notifications off. Thank you and you're welcome. The new build looks cool! Do you get mechanical inspections done on your vans before purchasing?
Rear windows are a security vulnerability. At the minimum should have some blackout curtains there. And really should be sealed so someone doesn't smash their way in.
To stay low profile put curtains in the windows, then seal them in with wood / metal. From the outside it would look normal, but would keep someone from just screwing with your electric system.
So many truck drivers will love your work, nice content and amazing wood working skills 👍🏼
Be sure to use his link when you’re buying items for van builds. That way we can keep these videos coming
But you can't tell people that. Amazon is closing affiliate accounts for telling people they make money from the links. It violates Amazes rules.
seeing the electrical stuff in the back makes me feel bit unsafe as you let the window bare in clean condition. this, i think will make some people who had a bad intention to mess you hardwork. at least cover tha back window with black curtain or sticker so others won't able to see the electrical power.
Most definitely!
You look strong enough, use the power of Thor and stop the van from driving off! Good work dude.
this is my favorite van build so far, after seeing over 400 videos. wow
I'm impressed not only by your insane skills, but the enterprising ops; Very informative and how fair your pricing is for the value you offer. Wish you much success!
