Do you have to update the software to pair it to the steam deck?
I like the controller- wish I picked it up when it went on sale
how did you get your controller to make that little apeture jingle there when it turns off?
min just makes the normal duh dee when i hit that button combination you did at the end of the video.
Go to Controller in Settings and hit Open on Calibration and Advanced Settings and you can change the sounds from there.

For using the right trackpad, is it possible to change the sensitivity per game?
Yeah, you can change the sensitivity in the Steam Input settings
