Pause at 8:12 HOW DARE YOU GOOD SIR, I BELIEVE YOU WILL FIND THAT THE WORD "THICC" IS A VERY POSITIVE DESCRIPTION AND BECAUSE OF THIS FAULT IN YOUR FORMULA YOU MUST START AGAIN.
since your BCE equation uses the google searches as a factor. games that came out over the past 2 weeks won't have as many results as games that came out in January of 2018. so you should multiply the searches by the reciprocal of how many days the game has been out. since smash came out 23 days ago, the reciprocal would be 1/23. so then multiply 1/23 to the searches and then divide your answer by the negative results times the reciprocal of the games times the funko pops
i don't know if my explanation is good but i can draw a picture reciprocal of date of game (google search results x fancy google search results) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- reciprocal of ( negative search results) x ( 1 x (# of pops ) date of game
That would encounter the same problem. games that have been recently released like Smash would have a higher value purely by the virtue that they are new, so people are talking about them. So a game like God of War which has been out for a while, whilst still being as relevant as smash on release, due to the very small reciprocal multiplier would have a smaller value.
@@sleuthbear9617 you're right, but it would be still more accurate. maybe you could just use search results that were created within a month of the games release and just divide those results by 30. if you see a problem with that tell me and i can try to fix the formula

bdg just absorbed all of the chaotic mcelroy energy when they left
well not all of it, since their chaos is thought to be infinite. but they left large amounts behind that only the right person would be capable of absorbing - and it just so happened that bdg was the one who could.
of course, small amounts of chaotic energy were absorbed by the other polygon employees, but their chaos limits were too low to absorb as much.
i know you meant to put bdg but you accidentally put bde-- big dick energy. thought that i should be the one to let you know
Incorrect. The last few minutes hold some frankly radioactive levels of chaotic Simone energy.

9:50 I haven’t seen a Mom burning his son so badly ever since my house burned down.
did your mom leave you in the house while it was burning down?? huh??
since your BCE equation uses the google searches as a factor. games that came out over the past 2 weeks won't have as many results as games that came out in January of 2018. so you should multiply the searches by the reciprocal of how many days the game has been out. since smash came out 23 days ago, the reciprocal would be 1/23. so then multiply 1/23 to the searches and then divide your answer by the negative results times the reciprocal of the games times the funko pops
i don't know if my explanation is good but i can draw a picture
reciprocal of date of game (google search results x fancy google search results)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
reciprocal of
( negative search results) x ( 1 x (# of pops )
date of game
ur a nerd
Bazooka, that's a good point well made.

So ive kinda been ignoring polygon since the mcelroys left but this series definitely brought me back.
Great premise, great presentation, and a hilarious personality running it.
One Man Ensemble pretty much my exact path regarding Polygon as well. And it wasn’t anything necessarily against the rest of the people at the company, I’m just a massive McElroy fan.
However, our lord and saviour BDG has brought me back because no other outcome was possible when they’re releasing things like this show.
I love the Polygon team, but their output has dramatically decreased since the McElboys left (which is 100% coming from over their heads and not anybody's fault). It's not so much that I don't follow their content, it's that there's far less content to follow. The quality is still great, but I miss dem goofs.
