Man you missed the boat today Jared. Should have went down to shell-beach(campos marina) for the Katrina memorial and spot lighted the people lost in Katrina 18 years ago. Would have been a great video to show everyone.
I'm from Chalmette. Went to Chalmette High School. My mama used to go to the Los Islanos festivals. She taught classes in Tinnereffi (SP) Lace. I got a 100 gross ton Captain's license but couldn't get a job so left the state in 99. Had a house in Violet. Every time I pass through to see my mom and dad's grave I got to stop at Rocky and Carlos. Mentioned time in down I'm gonna go to Charlie's I miss home 😢
I wish I could just go fishing with you once, so i could catch atleast one fish. Im ashamed to say i lived in SE Louisiana all my life and i havent caught a single one
CHEAPEST DOG FOOD CANS YOU CAN FIND, TAKE A SCREW DRIVER AND POKE HOLES IN CAN AND TROW IN BAYOU AN ADD A STRING TO RETRIEVE THE CANS LATER... WAIT 20MINS AND START CATCHING SHRIMP...
Hey Jared, the guy running the charter said if u didn’t want the bass, he’d take it, but u just threw it back n water…why wouldn’t u give him the fish???
ok ok ok hes right but still a little wrong... use 2 pots... boil in one with plain water .. and season your second pot and mix the season well keep it at ambient temperature.... boil shrimp in the clear water untill the shell pops of the back... then soak in your seasoned pot ... shrimp will not over cook this way,,, If shrimp do not take season well (jumbos shrimp can be hard to take season) you can re boil them till they flat and re soak them ...they will not over cook... DO NOT USE ZATARAINS fot this it will be way to salty! Louisiana works very well for me ... and add a little sprinkle on top
Gulf Coast shrimpers are getting sold down the river just like catfish in Mississippi. Cheap imports are klling us. Mssissippi was the catfish capital of the world. Not anymore. Catfish from Vietnam, shrimp from South America and frozen crawfish tails from China. "Boudreaux's"Crawfish tails are from China. Buy local.👍

I know that Creole Tomato dressing and boy it’s good! I never thought to use it as a dipping sauce for crab and fish cakes. Dang…!
Try it on fried foods too. Also, we have a customer who gets it on the side when he orders potato salad and likes to mix it in.
