The farm is beautiful, and the video of the event gave me a feeling of being in a festival. Unbelievable how this video made me want to travel to Louisiana and taste all those bursts of tastes it promises!
Thank you for sharing this new experience Video. I’ve never seen anything like this in my entire life. I love to eat Crawfish. God Bless you and hoping to see more of your beautiful work.
I was so supposed to go but wasn't able to make it, but next year I will not miss it for sure. Almost hitting that 100K subs Congrats bro. See you on the next one.
That border collie on the crayfish farm certainly leads a charmed life. That dog must’ve done something epic in a previous life, to deserve this home. A judge at a premier crayfish cook off?? The struggle is real, sir!!!!!! 😅 Super enjoyable content as always. Thank you.
That was awesome it had to be a blast 17,000 pounds of crawfish that's crazy. I'm gonna have to get my son Devin to get a hold of you too go make a crawfishing video he found him a good spot on the West bank he went out this past Saturday end catching about 25 to 30 pounds of crawfish and last weekend he caught a little over a sack of crawfish.
Jerad I think you did a good job to be your first time driving that machine i know you enjoyed being a judge in the crawfish boil looks like fun so can you tell me who won
Without removing the entire head, pull just the carapice at the tail joint upwards and forward. Leaving the head butter intact. Then rotate just the end of the tail 180° with slight pressure pulling outward. Cooked right, the poop shoot pulls from the entire tail, staying attached to the fan tail section. Then pull the head downward, leaving the head butter and tail connected. The meat can now be pulled from the shell in one piece. Only a true Cajon knows this trick...Not a single judge did this, come on guys !?!?
Man I miss me some good crawdads-Mo. lingo. There's an ol' fella here that should be completely retired, but he just won't give up the seafood business. Takes his twin-screw, oversized box truck to Louisiana every Wed. to load up on shrimp and crawdads. His family moved their shrimping boats from here to there few years back so that's where he gets the shrimp, but he buys the crawdads. 3-4 times a year I'll talk him out of a few pounds while I'm dropping off mullet or other fish, but he has every pound spoken for long before he even loads up. Wed. he's on the road, Thurs. and Fri. everything is sold.

Do you somehow feed the crayfish to make them grow faster?
You just make sure they have proper vegetation
❤
I want to get me some local beef! But I don't see any way to connect with them. Help a brother Jared.

How was the background music synchronized with the video scenes?
What’s he using for bait?
Pogies (menhaden)
