This has become one of my favourite new bands. They defy expectations and are a great group of young women, and, as you heard, super talented. They came up from a tiny village near Garut, Indonesia, and there are videos of Widi, the bass player, practicing on the dirt floor of their hut as her mother cooks nearby. When they were introduced to metal music on their teacher's laptop they went from zero to a hundred in a very few short years it seems. What I do like about them is that they have a great punk/metal energy. They sing songs of protest and social change, and have a great mix of covers and originals (which are excellent, BTW) in their concerts. They are all very talented, and I have to say that both Sitti on drums and Widi on bass really provide a solid backing for Marsya's guitar and vocals. Widi's bass playing in particular is outstanding, so listen out for it in future reactions. I would just add that, if you didn't hear a great response from the crowd here, it's probably only because the audience was not well micced, or it was just poorly mixed or something. Fancams of this event do show that the audience really is into it.
