One of the very few movies where my mom and dad went to the theater. They liked it so much we went the next day. Man those were some great days. Miss you mom and dad! I😥🥰
I know how you feel, hurts for me as well. My mom & dad loved this movie too.
I'll never forget dad seeing the scene in Dundee 2 with the girl in the swim suit saying "yeah that's not real" lol we were Jehovah's Witnesses too
I went with my Dad too. He did not return for the second time with me yet he sure wanted too. That woman is still to this day one of the most lickable hot women of all time. She is literally a walking breathing lollipop

Same I remember it like it was yesterday, I remember seeing for your eyes only a handful of years before also 👍 how times have greatly deteriorated.
How lucky were we to live amongst the days of the 80s. Films, music, fashion, no social media. Brilliant
No bloody mobile phones which meant if you weren't home, it was just bad luck for the one tryin to find ya rather than disturb ya while ya out with the missus or somethin.
@@gettimabodybag6213 We used to go off grid and party. If you made a fool of yourself there was no video evidence 😂
good times
@@gettimabodybag6213 There were mobile phones and car phones in the 80s but hardly anyone had them.
You didn't need or depend on them
It was a simpler time but people seemed happy back then --- didn't need a screen to stare at --- just some good friends and good music and it was ON, baby!
This is a perfect example of how many country Aussie Pubs were back in the day.
There'd be a disagreement, then a fist fight & ten minutes later they would all be laughing about it & all would be forgotten, great times & so much fun!
You know it’s movies like this where the main characters aren’t just good, but the extras in it are very believable that’s what makes it work a lot more.
I liked every one of them. My favorite moment is the "I think aye have me pocket knife" and he jabs it through the head of an animatronic anaconda, ruing the theme park ride LMAO
Yeah I was there.
No I wasn't the fuck am I talkin about.
Only people with supermodel looks are cast in movies these days. Look how rough most of the people in this pub are, they look like real people.
@@ninjaskeleton6140 huh? Have you watched any Netflix series lately?? Plenty of normal looking people have main roles these days....
@@BrassBashers By normal you mean guys that look and act like girls and girls that want to be boys ?
Just like Die Hard 1&2 the Dundee films will never grow old
Seriously tho don’t agree w me that die hard are Christmas movies
@@rnation5201 they just can't make them like they used too
@@sugarsaint yessir they are so good do you agree that they are Christmas movies tho
@@sugarsaint They can they just don't
@@rtflone no they CANT, 80s movies are time bracketed, it only works in that era, ergo Stranger Things success comes from replicating life in the 80s, same actors, same storyline would be hopelessly trash based in 2010s
Two beer's, one for me, one for me mate. such a classic line. One of the best eighties movies.
I got to meet and chat with Paul Hogan numerous times.... We even went fishing once.... He really is funny and genuine....
Did he use his knife with the fish 🔪 ?
@Steiner I used to go to the same gas station that he went to... The Village Service Station on Upper Coast Village Road in Montecito. That was a LONG TIME AGO, but that's how we originally met. We used to fish at Lake Cachuma. That's been almost 20 years ago... Wow... Time passes so quickly.
Would have been an honour to cross paths with Paul Hogan he was my childhood hero
Did you use dynamite to fish?
That´s cool Sir !
I visited Australia in the 80's while in the Navy. It's was just like this and they loved us Yanks! We drank to the Queen too! Love from Long Island NY. Great Memories Mate!
Did my time in the RAAF, 1970-1992, G-A-G/. G-G/and a little bit A-G Comms. Worked with the Yanks a few times, with the OZ Army up north, Cairns to the tip, and across to Darwin and south from from there, Port Keats, Katherine, and a couple of stations a bit south and west. Never boring. My point is this. The Yanks were in a place they had no idea of. Initially, they stood back, 'sussed out' what was going on, kinda 're-grouped', and came back totally 'switched on', they had 'observed, assessed and adapted'.
We had an Australian exchange student at my high school in 1985 --- he was almost as funny as Crocodile Dundee --- everyone in my school loved that kid LOL
I’m glad that this movie was dead-on to the Australian experience then. Was thinking this was a gimmick or stereotype
Crocodile Dundee is a fabulous classic movie with all the cast as Incredible Actors and Paul Hogan is Legendary, We love him !!! 💕
One of my heroes since I was a kid. Absolutely love him in lightning Jack as well
Cuba Gooding Jr. was also magnificent in that movie.
I saw that movie too. I loved it as much as CD!
It was gloriously funny in the Cinema when it came out.. . a real 'cheer you up' with a happy ending, can’t believe it was so long ago.
I was from NYC back in those days and I thought it missed the mark until the subway scene. Then I remember thinking “Ah, someone on the writing staff knows NYC”
And still funny to this day! Some movies age like fine wine... this here's one of 'em.
Saw it once had to see it again somethings never go out of style after all these years later appreciate the memories and a good laugh one of my favorite movies ever to the actors and actresses who passed away my thoughts are with your family you may be gone but not forgotten still going strong keep the laughs coming old is pure solid gold cried and cried nearly died of laughter couldn't breathe and stop laughing appreciate you guys thanks great job people you should be proud way to go very impressed !!! "Enough about me leg, let me tell you about the rest of me!" 🤣
oh yeah, what a terrific movie...wish there were more like it nowadays...
and the people in the movie...excellent.
Met an expat coworker in 1990 - from the Outback of Australia (a little ways from Alice Springs). First day on the job, I asked him if he wanted to walk to the local Mall where there was a food court. As we walked, he asked me, "Hey mate.... do they have any cutlery shops in the Mall?" I said, "I don't know, but we can check the directory once we enter the Mall. What do you need to buy?" He said, "A Bowie knife". At this response, I stopped walking and took another look at this guy. He was dressed in gray denim jeans, a western shirt with the sleeves rolled up past his elbows, and he wore a snakeskin belt. The combination of the belt and the knife started me thinkin' about this movie. I asked him, "What do you want to do with a Bowie knife.... kill crocodiles?" He didn't get it.... He said, "Naw mate.... I just can't get a good one Down Under." We are still best friends, 32 years later!
Great share !
bullshit
You don't say where you are, but I guess the US is a good place to get big knives
I remember seeing this movie in the theaters with my wife, and as we were walking out into the parking lot, I just blurted out, "I think I need a Bowie Knife."
@@tunetownmusic-l2f That true story happened in 1990 in Houston, TX. When we went into the cutlery shop, my friend from Australia asked the salesman if he could see the rather large Bowie knife with a carved staghorn handle which was on display in the glass case. When my friend was holding the knife, he asked for the price, the salesman said, "$95". My friend said, "Ah.... that's a bit too dear". Sensing that the salesman didn't know what that meant, I translated from the Australian English to the American English: "That's pretty expensive". He decided not to buy the knife.
Awesome, when movies were actually worth watching and entertaining.
I wonder how there hasn't been a remake done recently with inclusivity for all reptiles.
One of the all time great feel good movies. The second one is also an absolute smasher! I can never tire of these films. One of the most overlooked parts of these two films is the music. It's amazing!
She is absolutely gorgeous !

I remember seeing this living in the UK and thinking how exotic Australia was. Now I live here and have been into pubs like this up in the far North West.
why north west??
@@ianhotson6057 I asked you because I want to know why this kind of bares are there, mean which is the difference between this area and the rest of the country
I saw it too before moving to Oz a few years later, and yeah been into pubs sorta like this.. Don't live there anymore, but now I can truly appreciate all the smaller in-jokes too..:D
Is it still exotic to you?
@@ThePirucho77 it's a big, big, big country here and I have not been to the Northern Territory or North Queensland yet. Their pubs will be identical.
"Don't know! . . . Just you & me out there all alone? I've got me reputation to think about."
I first saw this movie in Germany. Was in English with German sub titles. There must have been another Australian in the audience because we both burst out laughing at least 2-3 seconds before everyone else.
This is the 1st time we get to see the most dangerous weapon in Australia.

Still can´t believe the low score on the IMDB. Only shows that those websites are pure bullshit. Crocodile Dundee is a unique classic and one of the best comedies ever made.
When they made great films how i miss those days ❤️❤️
1986 was a great year for good movies. In addition to this one, my favorite Star Trek movie, Star Trek 4, was released that year. Other good movies were Top Gun, Pretty In Pink, Big Trouble in Little China, Aliens, Labyrinth, Iron Eagle, Short Circuit, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Delta Force, and Three Amigos, just to name a few. Compare this list to the cr@p that's coming out now.
Must have watched this movie ten times, will have to go watch it again now
Just ten times ? Lol
So good! Great movie - great memories.
You better pump your brakes kid, that man is a national treasure. 🤣🤣🤣

One of the best flicks ever made
so even after the lady`s first meeting with mick dundee, and not exactly getting a good impression of him, not only do they go on an adventure through the outback, but they also go to the concrete jungle that is new york, and after mick saves the day goodness knows kow many times, they are soon married, what a guy, but then considering how lovely linda kozlowski is in this film, who can blame him, and did anyone realise at the time that when we were all seeing films during the 80`s, that not only would we be watching some of the greatest films ever made, and this is especially true with films like crocodile dundee, which make us laugh one moment, and then the next we are hoping that our hero saves the day, and gets the girl, but this is even more so when although since the 1980`s there no doubt has been many a great film to watch, i still think that at least some of my favourite films came out during this decade, and i`m sure that i`m not alone in still wanting to watch all the great films all over again that we first watched when we was so much younger than we are now.
Doesn't know what day it is...doesn't care....lucky bastard.
Thanks to this movie I learned what a "walkabout" was. I'd been doing it for years, but I didn't know they had a name for it!
You should watch the movie "Walkabout" .
I saw Part 1 in the USA. I saw part 2 on vacation in Melbourne, Victoria; Australia
Great Aussie movie. I was working in the mines not far from McKinley, population 28 where this was filmed, the boys and I would take a run out there to sink a few coldies.
Wow, one of the best movies ever! John P.
I never noticed it until today: soon after Donk dropped his beer Mick quickly ran behind the bar to grab him a fresh one. To soothe the savage beast 😂
Lovely pub in walkout creek. 🤣
This movie did wonders for the Aussie tourism industry
3:55 The only man to make Donk drop his beer
Having Mental As Anything's 'Sloppy Croc' song on their jukebox is very impressive for a pub in the outback NT. 😀
I saw a preview of a Paul Hogan talk show before the Croc Dundee movies. Thought I'll never hear from him again since I didn't follow talk shows. Boy...Was I wrong.😄
They are ages 81 and 64 now. Where did the years go? I was disappointed when Linda and Paul got divorced, but she said after the initial attraction of the first few years, they got bored with each other. Fun movie though. The first sequel was pretty good too.
One can understand the attraction, she is charming, both coming and going.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time
I love how in this movie he is such a crazy wild fun going guy but then he knows out when he starts to fall in love with Sue
Forever my hero of an entrance
A, he was just trying to get a bit, that's all 😂😂😂😂
Let's be honest it's just a great movie
Best part of the Dundee movies was the over the top loud gunshot sounding punches usually being a knockout.
The one thing I can't understand is why everyone seems to be drinking Fosters... The Aussies consider that to be worse than warm Wallaby piss mixed with sand.... Four X is the beer....
4x yes there's 4 letters in shit
Such a good movie
Glad my dad showed me this movie!!

Paul Hogan was so good in these shows and Almost a Angel.

After one particular showing at a theatre we went to some cute girls got up and danced on the back seats after turning on a ghetto blaster with Men At Works "Down Under" playing and encouraged us all to sing along, before leaving, which everyone did! Great times...
There are pubs up North, still like this.
Linda Kozlowski , so pretty !
She got plastic surgery for some strange reason. She was already beautiful.
I could see myself in this bar, drinking XXXX with them singing "Kosciusko" by Midnight Oil, which is still one of my favorite bands.

Mick loves making an entrance
Reminds me of places and some people along the Alabama Gulf Coast, what with 15 and 16 foot alligators, Eastern Diamondbacks, Cotton mouths, black widows, brown recluses and these big ass yellow spiders, not the Joros that are spreading now. The most dangerous critters were these scrawny skinny weather-beaten guys who worked shrimp boats in season and poached other animals out of season. A lot of them spotted tattooed crucifixes on their arms along with tattooed of the virgin Mary and with earrings made of religious medals and crosses from rosaries. They could be good friends once they got to know you or cunning, treacherous individuals if they didn't trust you.
Wolly 😂

I remember that movie from my childhood and wanted to go to Australia ever since. Obviously I didn't expect it to be like the movie..but I also didn't expect what I saw in 2018. The main cities are just full of Lebanese and Chinese people gobbling weird foods. What happened?
You grew up into a racist POS? Just a guess.
Plenty of Vietnamese too.
Everywhere in Australia is Australian. The cities are just very different from the country. Where I live has nearly two million people but the entire state is the size of Western Europe - with a population of 2.5 million.
Absolute crap. You have no idea.
All that diversity they've been telling you is so gteat.
Best film ever
Looking back, it seems like Sue was smitten with him from the moment he burst through that door... and she didn't even know yet that he was the guy she was there to interview.
They both left their spouses for each other.... And now they're divorced.
I was out there once in the 90s. I was wearing a Aussie cowboy type hat called a Akubra. ( expensive )
a couple of Aussie builders said to me ,you must be a Pommie as no one else wears them out here ( was taking the piss ) as inSydney you see loads of Aussies wearing them ) Well not to be out done by a Botany Bay crim I said yes mate ,you are prob right ,but I tried to get the typical Aussie hat with the corks on strings that most of you Aussies wear to keep off the flies from my face but had to buy this one instead.
even they had to laugh at that .
