Now that I've actually completed* hazardous course II, I'd like to say that people make this mod WAY harder than it actually is. If you spend a little bit of time exploring the map, then you'll find loads of switches and secrets that makes the training exercises easier. Options to slow down equipment, emergency shut offs, and maintenance doors are EVERYWHERE. Turns out this is actually a puzzle game. (Granted, while you can make the obstacles easier, there's still some higher level SRC techniques you're expected to use.)
Vinny's reaction right after 14:26 is fucking priceless. Kinda wish he would have turned this mod into a short series, though. Stopped and came back to it later. That way maybe he would have had the patience to complete it legit, instead of no-clipping through pretty much half the game. A bit of a shame, but whatever.

Vinny, this is such a good mod, and you really should complete it on your own time. There is so much more to this mod. You eventually go to space. No, that isn't an exaggeration. Just look up a walkthough if you don't want to finish it, but it's still a really underrated mod.

HL is pretty nice sometimes, e.g. U can fall from highest buildings with no damage when theres even just less than an inch of water on the ground. Or u can fall towards a ladder, U will just grab it then. after not playing HL for some years I jut put it on my computer again and came across this Hazardous Course last week. Still need to find my way thru there.
I got up to the longjump across the spike pit, and I have NO idea how Vinny got past that. I can't get any further than smacking into the platform with my face.
