Hi Roger, good to see you are still mending, how about a video talking us through your bikes ans cars while your not riding,im sure it would be very intresting to hear choices and how you came about them👍
Thanks Martin. Glad you made the video suggestion as I was thinking of something along those lines so watch out and see what appears over the comming months👍🏻👍🏻 Cheers Rog.
Great to see ya mate .Your looking much better in your self . I miss watching you ride and giving us a great commentary . Get well soon and please keep us all up to date . Love from Ireland ❤👍👍👍Its hard to believe its been 5 months since you mishap . How time goes by .
Thanks for the kind comments, I am feeling generally much better👍 . Yes, 5 months seems like a long time but to be honest, it has passed pretty quickly even though I do seem to spend a lot of time doing nothing 😂😂😂 There's another motorcycle ramble video out on Saturday. Cheers Rog
Thanks Andy, if nothing else, this accident has taught me that absolutely nothing can be gained by worrying, complaining or trying to speed up the natural flow of things or events over which I have no control. The whole experience will be much more tolerable and less stressful by staying positive and as relaxed, both mentally and physically, as I can. Cheers Rog
Well I did think you must have been hobbling around a bit too much while I was there..., so I sincerely hope the snapped wire was not because of that. Always difficult to take a set-back, just when you think things are comeing along well. Hope it turns out to be just a small job, just as the bike will certainly be..., now knowing your skills! Thanks for the mention👍, was strange to see and hear me mentioned by name on YT..., but don't worry, i'll get over it☺.
Hi Steve, don't worry, it wasn't overdoing it that made it snap, these frames are designed for normal walking and full weight bearing. The one that's gone is at the very bottom through my ankle, just where all the twisting and turning takes place so its probably some sort of fatigue fracture. I was warned right at the beginning that this can happen after time, but you always hope its not going to happen to you😂😂 Now you're a RUclips celebrity, will you be posting videos on your own channel? 😂😂 You could have done some nice touring videos of your trip from Switzerland round the UK and back. Cheers Rog
Hi Rog, always look forward to your updates, it is sad to hear of this little setback, but I admire your strength and enthusiasm, I'm glad the bike escaped lightly, we seem to worry about the bikes more than ourselves, looking forward to the next video, take care ...... Colin 😊
Thanks very much Colin, glad you enjoy following my exploits. I think your right about our bikes, to be honest, the first few days after the accident I was more concerned about getting the CCM picked up and taken home than I was about my leg 😂😂😂😂. There's another motorcycle ramble out this Saturday so watch out for it. Cheers Rog
Good update Rog looking forward to part 3 of the Humber estuary for sure 👍 the Mrs and the kids get to the good biscuits in our house before I do 😢 But I do keep a stash of chocolate hob nobs in my workshop for emergency brew situations. Keep mending mate and glad the bikes sorted all bar a few scratches 😊
Thanks Christopher much appreciated. Part 3 of the Humber estuary ramble will be ready on Saturday. My particular weakness is Mcvities plain chocolate digestive, getting a craving even as I'm writing this😂😂😂 Cheers Rog
Great to see you’re improving Rog and I hope the temporary hiccup with the leg frame is sorted out quickly. Looking forward to seeing your next episode. 👍
Hy Rog super to read that all is getting better and i miss your videos.Your bike is really keen on taking a ride out i can tell.Keep getting better and all the best.Pete 🍀🍀🍀
Thanks Pete. Yes, Al is keen to get back out, he'll have to be a bit patient though, could be awhile 😂😂 Part 3 of the Humber estuary trip will be out next Saturday. Cheers Rog.
Great to hear from you I was going to message you to see how you was sorry to hear that a wire has snapped I hope this is not going to cause you more trouble and holt the healing it’s nice to hear from you and sending my best wishes to you and the wife for having to put up with you 😂😂take care and take it easy on that leg for god sake bye for now
Thanks for the comments Nicholas, much appreciated. Hopefully the broken wire is just a bit of a hiccup and I can get back to my exercises soon. Breaks are not uncommon and it may be able to re-attach it with a frame adaptor. If not there's the option s of simply removing it completely if there's enough support from the remaining wires, or if all else fails, replace it with a new one though that I believe would require an operation. Anyway, onward and upwards. Cheers Rog
Wonderful update Rog. Keep getting better - I think of you everytime I get on the bike - everyday in fact as even if the weather isn't up to much I still pop down to the hangar and have a sit on the bikes with a coffee and cake to enjoy. Peter
Thanks very much Ian. Being positive is the only way, letting it get me down and worrying won't help and will only make the long journey to recovery harder. Onwards and upwards 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Cheers Rog
Yes, first comment, not easy to achieve, the thunderbolt must be having lie in! Glad all is going well. Rog has now officially got a screw loose 🙂
Thanks for that Darren😂😂
Congratulations on 1st place, I think posting the video later than normal caught Steven and Steve napping.

I would have called round myself if I'd known you were getting the good biscuits out, sid.
You'd have been very welcome, but don't tell everybody, my good biscuit tins not that big 😂😂😂
Well, I've finally got round to watching this and I am cheered by your stoicism and forward-looking attitude!

Thanks for the update, hopefully the snapped wire is an easy fix. Good to hear not extensive damage to the CCM & itself running ok.
Thanks Martin, fingers crossed they can sort it easily in a few days. The bikes are all ready now, just waiting for me to be mended😁😁
