Now that you are safely around the horn, and if you have the time, David Grann’s “The Wager” is an outstanding account of the shipwreck of the Wager and the mutiny and murder that ensues in 1742. These true events are presented so well it’s hard to put the book down. Given your proximity, a must read 🙂
