      @notarealperson2023 that's a illogical no common sense question. Taxes are illegal period. Answer this. Why do I have to pay the government everytime I drive on the highways, and if I don't pay then they threaten me to take away my license?? Do you think that's right. Stop justifying robbers dressed in suits and ties 👔 pretending to be your government.

    Good place to start I reckon, but 1500ish after all the deductions and taxes per week is only going to be about 75k a year in real bring home. If you're having to pay for repairs and maintenance on that truck that'll eat it up pretty quick. Not trying to knock your hustle man. Go get it and I hope you're successful!

    • @Realogn
      @Realogn 7 месяцев назад +1

      But with all the write offs wouldn’t it go back up 🤔 if so then you are tryna knock his hustle

    • @Brad_English
      @Brad_English 7 месяцев назад +3

      @@Realogn No. That's not how that works. Would he gain a small tax advantage from write offs? Yes, but he would have to spend money out of that 1500 a week bring home to make a purchase to have a deduction, to gain a little of it back in taxes. If you make 1mill a year but spend 900k a year, yeah you only get taxed on the 100k, but you also only made 100k, and in this instance that other 900k would have went to the company he was renting from. He even states later on in the comments that this turned out to be a bad deal. That's why I wasn't disrespecting the hustle just giving advice based off having been in the decision making end of business for a long time. If it don't make dollars it don't make sense. And that business model didn't make dollars. Now, having the hustle mindset and understanding that experience, he can go on to make decisions in business that do make dollars.

    Hey guys lets be clear im not promoting anyone or the reason why i dont mention the company that i work at is because i got ripped of in the long run. But anyone that is selling any in the comments i have never used any grants to get a truck or to lease purchase or be a owner operator. So please dont imply that i have but for anyone in the comments please do research. I am not responsible for anyone selling anything, and will not be brought up in any legal action.

      I'm really happy to see a lot of recommendation about Patricia Tannar here, she helped our nonprofit organization in 2022, to get Covid relief grant. She is one of the professionals top grant writer and also a nonprofit leader that has won millions in grant funding for both business and nonprofits organizations. She offer grant writing classes and sessions where she teaches other grant writers and individuals on how to prepare a quality grant proposals and getting fundraise for nonprofits. She's such an amazing woman.

      That’s defections my guy. On a settlement they typicallly deduct fuel (almost 3k) truck payment, etc. still made over 2k though not bad. But the fuel is killing him.

      @@YoloM-lq6hi correct then still has to pay taxes, which the government loves to throw that extra self employment tax on too, so really he probably brought home 1500 for the week. Which isn't terrible money but it isn't great money either. I don't think he's with that program anymore because they were ripping him off. I hope he used it as a learning experience and has moved on to bigger and better things.

      Nah settlement is 2600. Says it on the top left corner. Shit don’t sound right at all. Fuel charge was more than his take home. And they ain’t even took taxes out of this yet.
