That's basically what the "Thousand Year Stare" is from 2000 AD's "Savage". They force some scientists to take a drug that allows them to think faster, to write up plans for advances robotic soldiers, but the drug also causes them to age rapidly. If it ever becomes a reality, I'll scream myself hoarse.
There was an episode deep space nine where that kind of happened to a character that spent 20 years in a prison in a virtual space but reality he only spent like a day in a headset.
Pretty sure there were news of a possibilty of such drugs to be made. Haven't read into them that much though, so i have no idea how they're gonna work.

Really like this a lot, how it expands from the first creepy pasta. Also, he said it was only 90 minutes from him taking the drug to ending up in the ER. Let’s simplify things and make it just 1 hour or 60 minutes. If, let’s say, it only takes 1 day (24 hours) for the drug to ware off, that would be 24 x 8,000,000 = 192 million processed years for this guy to equal 1 day of this drug. That’s crazy. These numbers aren’t exact but man, can you imagine that?
On average, people live around 80~ years. If you divide 192 million by 80 thats 2,400,000 so bascially this guy might live around 2,400,000 times the normal life expectancy.
The fact that there was a person in this story that actually WANTED to use it on herself. She was so adamant at studying this one phenomenon that she was willing to put herself through years of perceived time just to witness it.

This is such an amazing horror story series! I’m so glad someones combining it with a SFM show animation :3 I love the Source Engine and SFM as well and it seems like a great combination tbh lol SFM is greatly underestimated by professionals as an animation platform. Its really demonstrated how absolutely amazing the achievements of artists working within their means can be. Theres so many absolutely amazing animations and shows made with it. I also urge people to put aside the bullshit social stigma fantasy and give Skibidi Toilet a try. If the drug was in extremely short doses with extreme caution it would be super useful for police and militars, imagine having incredible reaction speed you would literally be able to dodge stabs punches maybe not bullets but with 10 times faster thinking you would be unstoppable at melee range

SFM is greatly underestimated by professionals as an animation platform. Its really demonstrated how absolutely amazing the achievements of artists working within their means can be.
Theres so many absolutely amazing animations and shows made with it. I also urge people to put aside the bullshit social stigma fantasy and give Skibidi Toilet a try. Because its honestly such a cool, well made show and really does better than most big budget sci-fi action shows you see these days (:

If the drug was in extremely short doses with extreme caution it would be super useful for police and militars, imagine having incredible reaction speed you would literally be able to dodge stabs punches maybe not bullets but with 10 times faster thinking you would be unstoppable at melee range
