I think the idea of being stuck in one place for any amount of time un-willingly is a creepy thought, but staying in a room, alone, with no escape in sight is horrifying to even think about.
What scares me is realizing how actually inescapable this scenario is ; Many people may decide "Oh if I was stuck like that I'd kill myself before I go mad". If every time he causes damage or change in the bathroom it resets back to how it was before, I reckon that rule applies to him too. If he began to try to attempt to kill himself to escape, I think the damage done to his body would reset. He could potentially be stuck there forever, unable to leave, unable to speak to anyone, unable to die, isolated forever in some kind of bathroom pocket dimension. It's mad to me that the title of this video sounds like a joke creepypasta but it actually turns out to be some kind of existential-crisis story akin to Silent Hill 4.
I agree, even if he brought his charger with him to keep his phone charged up at all times. That could only last for so long until he begins to go mad, losing his mind that his freedom is basically absolutely gone. Some people may also think “well since I have my phone and charger on me, I can play on my phone forever and not be bored”. Well…how long will that last? How long can you keep playing the same game or use the same apps over and over again erase any boredom. True at first, but then soon it will become stale, hollow, and pointless. Yes, you have an unlimited power source, and a device to keep you connected with the outside world. But how long will that last until you can no longer take it anymore. Also, that sound that he heard outside in the dark abyss would make me absolutely paranoid and assume that something is out there, and knowing me, if I heard it, I would let that window reset, because at least it would stay stuck! But then comes another problem if it would be one: a source of food. True, he has basically unlimited water, but without out a good source, he would starve to death, reset, and repeat. In other words; this is a fate worse than death.
@@300kyuubi RUclips can go a long way, and what about IP-trackers? surely, people could detect a misinterpreted point by him making a loud enough sound THROUGH his phone, that should be heard realistically, on the other side of the door. People would understand much better that if he truly was trapped, they'd have the tools to reflect on this, and to try, and reach out to him.
1:07 Neat little detail: the main character actually mouths words along the lines of "Mom, I'm [something, probably "trapped" or "stuck"] in the bathroom".
This is the sort of horror concept I love. No monsters, no cheap scares. Just an absurd scenario that keeps getting more and more impossible and desperate as it continues.
I like how he could have just taken pictures of the outside and his home from his perspective so that he proves to his mom that he is in fact stuck in some alternate dimension but chooses not to
*The Aftermath* : His mother started to realize that her son haven’t talk to her after his prank, She didn’t think much as it just a day after the prank but then 2 days, 3 days, a week then month passed without her son spoken to her. She now realized that maybe her son is really in danger and that she shouldn’t ignore his text. She texted him back wanted her son to just read the message, no response. She texted him again and again, no response. Grief start pouring in as she texting him, just wanted to speak her son again. No response. She contact the police told them that her son had been missing, they clam her down as they will search her son. Year passed, there’s never been any signs of disappear of her son. Only messages of him about that he’s stuck in bathroom remain. Police closed the case as there isn’t any progress of searching. There’s only one problem with this creepypasta... *why the guy didn’t post back a picture of his bathroom to his mom when she realized he wasn’t there?* Edit: So I’m kind of starting to lose brain cells from how many people don’t really see that I’m talking about *before* his mom stopped replying to him, and so help me god if I see one more saying ‘bruh she didn’t reply back, did you even watch the video???????’ my brain is going to commit Roblox reset.
This animation was beautiful and well done; I especially like the facial expressions! In SFM it can be somewhat hard to make human models actually *seem* and *feel* human, but you've pulled that off successfully. Good job, my dude!
One time when I was a kid, I got up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and when I tried to leave, the door wouldn't budge. I ended out calling for help for a while but everyone was sound asleep. Eventually I just sat down and cried until I looked up at the doorknob and saw that I had locked it on my way in, and that it was still just locked. I left the room and felt really embarrassed.
Happened to me in a gas station bathroom. Except I accidentally broke the key trying to unlock it. I called for help, didn't have a connection, but realized the door was at least cheap. I kicked back at it. Took a few tries but managed to kick the middle part out of the frame. Told the boss about the fault lock and door and had them replaced.
You know with a creepypasta name like this, it's sounds like a troll pasta but once you read it, it's freaking horrifying. The fact that your mom literally had her work friend tear down the door and you're not in there and she also sent a photo as proof. You literally just opening the door of your bathroom and walking out, just to find yourself back in the bathroom. It's like a neverending nightmare. Edit: Holy shit 1.5k likes? Never thought I'd get this much. Well that's nice thx guys ~
I think the really eerie part is when he sees what’s outside the window. A muted, dark, empty (?) version of his neighborhood. Does he really want to leave the bathroom, if that’s all he’ll find outside?
Its actually one of my greater fears. Kind of illogical, but theoretically anything is possible. Think about this: Monsters can be killed. You can turn on a light in the darkness. You can avoid phobias. You can fight criminals, have proof of strange occurrences. But with shit like this? You have nothing. You are trapped forever, your mind breaking down as you realize that reality was never as it seemed. You cannot get help, nor can you escape. Even if you did escape a situation like this, what could you say? You would have no proof, and you would be seen as crazy. That is why this is one of my biggest fears. The fear of seeing/experiencing something unnatural and unexplained that no one else experienced. The fear of mental isolation.
I also feel like the reader used irony for the title because as I said this sounds like a troll pasta but once the readers will read it they'll be greeted to one of the few or at least that I know of, great creepypastas
I legit dreamed yesterday that i got out of my house, only to find myself back inside again, kept trying again and again till i woke up, in the dream i could only look to my left, i couldn't look to my right, and i would feel this strange sensation of vibration everytime i warped back to my house, creepy af
I first thought the character was stuck in a time loop and couldn't escape, but when I saw a comment about the plot twist of the character's mom in the wrong apartment, I went to think for a while. But I still never been able to figure out what is happening to the story. I actually love some stories and movies that sometimes never really explains as much. (Edit: Until a user commented that he is stuck in a pocket dimension. Thanks to the user, it made sense, trolls that mislead things can mess up my brain, which is annoying.)
@@ANormalPerson308 I mean it's kinda obvious it's a pocket dimension 😅 and the comment about the wrong apartement was just a troll, I thought it would also be obvious 🙄
My theory is that he is stuck in the other side of the mirror and can only stay in his reflection which is why he can’t exit because the mirror doesn’t extend to the rest of his house
So I felt this was a representation of a mental issue. You know how some people feel SOO TRAPPED inside their heads, vulnerable to the thoughts that encase them involving depression and anxiety. He’s stuck inside It’s like someone who struggles to leave their head and dangerously unhealthy thoughts. When he tries to leave it’s a symbol of how some suicidal people try to save themselves but to no avail. They return to the thoughts that encase them. He is able to contact his mother. He calls for help. But when she comes nothing saves him. It’s like how some people do call for help but help isn’t actually provided. The mother breaks the door but finds no one and calls it a joke. Just like how some people just don’t see or feel what you’re going through even if it severely affects you. And they try help but don’t find anything and end up dismissing the trauma. When he finally sees outside the window, it’s symbolic of how some really depressed people have a small window to see the outside world but end of viewing it as negative and depressing, “muted”. They feel extremely alone. So yeah this was such a gruesome tale not only because it was very chaotic but also how it does represent serious mental issues even if that wasn’t the true intent
Mom is a genius. Removes the lock, looks through the hole only to see an empty bathroom, and still decides to have the door taken off its hinges, as if that's gonna do anything.
what else can she do? also the hole didnt show the whole bathroom, so i guess there was still a chance there was something in the areas she couldnt see. but seriously what else was she supposed to do, i wanna hear your ideas
@@_P2M_ why would she have not done it though? she firmly believed that her son was trapped in the bathroom and the only other way she might get him out was to take the door off its hinges. also, a missing persons report would 1. do literally nothing, he's trapped in a pocket dimension, and 2. he was actively texting her before, so unless she thought that whoever was texting her wasn't her son, she'd have no reason to file a missing persons report. she also might have filed one afterwards, maybe a few days later, since her son wouldn't have texted her or shown up anywhere.
@@v3n71lat0r "he was actively texting her before, so unless she thought that whoever was texting her wasn't her son, she'd have no reason to file a missing persons report" See the inconsistency? Her son was actively messaging her, so why wouldn't he have answered back when she knocked on the door? And if she took a look inside and saw no one, that's even stranger. There's absolutely no need to remove the door at that point. A reasonable person, at that point, would be thinking about this in this order: 1) He's pranking her. A weird prank, but whatever. 2) Someone else took his phone and is impersonating him just for laughs, I guess. 3) Something is seriously wrong. Number 1 and 2 are easy to check, leaving only number 3. And at that point, you file a missing person's report. And of course it won't do anything, but you only know that because you're the omniscient reader. The character doesn't know that.
@@_P2M_ thats fair i think, but also i can't really understand a thing that you said so sorry ab that. but also, again, why wouldn't she take the door off its hinges? yeah it's a little stupid but even if she thought it was a prank, there's still a bit of a reason to try and check the bathroom, especially since the door was locked but she couldn't hear anything from inside.
This is very terrifying, just imagine yourself stuck in a specific room, with no hope of escape, neither a hope of company. Just knowing that you're stuck and nobody can help you escape.
The scary thing here is that even if he tried to kill himself, he would probably get reset to his original physical state, with no injury. So he is stuck in a sort of time-loop
"I can't leave my bathroom, everytime I get up. I feel the pain, I sit, and more diarrhea comes out. Maybe I have infinite diarrhea." UPDATE: "I to this day live with various ruined pants, I live out of the bathroom with automatic diarrhea problems, it never ends. I'm so fucked, oh wait here it AAAAAAAAH-"
Daaang! This animation was nothing more but a suspenseful horror show with the way how smooth the animation and the characters expressing their fear were but my most favorite thing about this was how those scenes were shot, those camera shots were filled with dread not to mention just how claustrophobic it is which is ironically fitting. You did a good job! Well done!
It nice to see you make SFM again . i'm not old sub or anything but i remember you talking about how you want to make them again out of love to it . And you not uploading for whole year tell me you were busy with life and working on this . nice to see the fruit of your labor pay .
I remember reading about a man who had both retrograde and anterograde amnesia. He couldn't remeber his past and couldn't from new memories. His doctor recommended keeping a diary so he could remember his day. It went something like this: 6:00 am: I woke up 6:08 am: Now I truly awake 6:15 am: Despite previeous exclamations I have now just awoken. The rest of the diary is just pages upon pages of that.
This is the kind of creepypastas that I wish people wrote more, short, creepy, psychological vignettes. You can only hear descriptions of gore or creatures with sharp teeth so many times until they are not scary anymore, and they constitute a good 80% of all creepypastas
This is true horror and I love and hate it, There isn't some big scary or creepy horrifying monster that tries to kill, someone who is on a limited time trapped and can't get out and isn't absolutely stupid, they can do nothing they are helpless and that truly terrifies me
Near hopeless situation, but his phone actually working is a saving grace, he could blow up various social medias like reddit and tiktok etc with pictures of the strange dimension and the bathroom, and take screen pictures of his moms conversations and send those around aswell, send his mom the pictures so she can confirm all the posted things once he goes missing, It's most likely pointless but it will give him a sense of hope for rescue, maybe he can interest some secret anomaly organization to look for him.
Everyone seems to ignore the narrator saying that he heard loud rumbling outside his window. This means that there is, in fact, something outside his bathroom.
This isn’t scary, it’s just weird, guys. The guy’s used his bathroom before, he talks about how he always brings his phone in the bathroom when he showers. So inexplicably, the bathroom he’s used before with no issue suddenly teleported him to another dimension or something. BUT, he can still make blog posts to our websites in this dimension, and text and call people in this dimension. So he’s trapped in an alternate reality, but the signals coming from his phone can come and go between dimensions no problem I guess. There’s also no mention of him having poor signal or his mom cutting out while they’re talking. So, what exactly is going on? The point of vague writing is to make people come to their own conclusions because they’ll generally answer the “how” and “why” in ways that are more personally creepy to them than you can. So if the story falls apart under scrutiny, don’t use vague writing or plot points, or you’re doing something wrong
I assume he is trapped in a sort of backroom glitch, but for those who don't know, here is how it works: It happens most likey in a room, in this case his toilet, and when you try to open the door, you just find yourself in that room again, you can try multiple times but you'll find yourself stuck in that room. Tho, I think that even if you open the rooms door you will see the room that you are in. For example, if my dude's stuck in his bathroom, then if he opens the door, he will se his bathroom trough the door. Idk how you can get out of this situation and I know I haven't been really helpful probably but this is all I know. Hope he will get out of that loop...
Hope you've all been doing well during the pandemic! Thank you to everyone who subscribed to me during this past year, and welcome! I'll try to upload more videos form now on, so stick around!

He is trapped in a pocket dimension.
Thank you for that, makes sense now. Still terrifying to be stuck in a pocket dimension with no way to escape.

"I put on My clothes, opened the door, and walked out."
The greatest plot twist of all time.
That got me on the edge of my seat
So I felt this was a representation of a mental issue.
You know how some people feel SOO TRAPPED inside their heads, vulnerable to the thoughts that encase them involving depression and anxiety.
He’s stuck inside
It’s like someone who struggles to leave their head and dangerously unhealthy thoughts.
@@v3n71lat0r
She could've not done that. That's a start. Then if she's really worried, file a missing person's report.
@@v3n71lat0r
"he was actively texting her before, so unless she thought that whoever was texting her wasn't her son, she'd have no reason to file a missing persons report"
See the inconsistency? Her son was actively messaging her, so why wouldn't he have answered back when she knocked on the door? And if she took a look inside and saw no one, that's even stranger. There's absolutely no need to remove the door at that point.
A reasonable person, at that point, would be thinking about this in this order:
1) He's pranking her.

Daaang! This animation was nothing more but a suspenseful horror show with the way how smooth the animation and the characters expressing their fear were but my most favorite thing about this was how those scenes were shot, those camera shots were filled with dread not to mention just how claustrophobic it is which is ironically fitting. This is the kind of creepypastas that I wish people wrote more, short, creepy, psychological vignettes.
You can only hear descriptions of gore or creatures with sharp teeth so many times until they are not scary anymore, and they constitute a good 80% of all creepypastas
This is true horror and I love and hate it,
There isn't some big scary or creepy horrifying monster that tries to kill, someone who is on a limited time trapped and can't get out and isn't absolutely stupid, they can do nothing they are helpless and that truly terrifies me

Dying out of starving on a bathroom
Awesome animation!
Thanks!
I feel his pain I remember the last time I had white castle
I was stuck in the bathroom for about an hour or so
This has to be the most troll sounding one, but one of the most terrifying. Nice job!
0:06 POV: you had Taco Bell and it’s still coming
I remember listening to this the first time, I loved it.
I assume he is trapped in a sort of backroom glitch, but for those who don't know, here is how it works:
It happens most likey in a room, in this case his toilet, and when you try to open the door, you just find yourself in that room again, you can try multiple times but you'll find yourself stuck in that room.
