Hands down still the best speaker. I have shown this NUMEROUS times in my substance use groups in an outpatient program I work for. Everyone LOVES it. Keep going strong, Hank!
I know it could be quite difficult to get over an addiction especially those that one takes up at a young age. It was a courageous thing Hank did, facing your fears and getting over the addiction of alcohol and drugs. Very inspirational story.
Very inspiring how Hank used his addiction as adversity to march through. I also find it really reassuring how they're are so many people out there with similar dependency issues that just need to realize they are not alone. Hank must be a great counselor because of his tremendous empathy.
These are life changing interviews. Thanks for this Detox to Rehab. He saw drugs being practiced and abused and thought of giving a trial but had a hard time stopping; it’s always better not to start Addiction is real.
The issue of parents enforcing dreams on their children is quite devastating and should be highly discouraged in our modern time, I commend this man for his innocent interior motive and challenges conquered within the terrible addiction.
This is a good testimony from Hank to help those who think it isn't possible for them to be free from alcoholism. Thank you so much for these encouraging words.
Parents really have a great influence to a child. I hope more parents will learn from these stories. Thank God that Hank has turned his life around. Very inspiring indeed!
Seriously, this is a message of hope. Telling people who have given up hope that they can still turn their lives around. Thanks for the word of encouragement.
When his mom said all i ever wanted was for you to be happy, that's what my parents would say, and they didn't understand addiction😢 i felt so horrible
The most learning part for me was that being in a alcoholic environment, one can live a peaceful life. He is a very wise guy too who learnt from his father mistakes.
I believe you can always choose whatever you want for your life, either good or bad. But it is always good to make right choices especially for one's happiness and joy.
Lovely and inspiring story! Hope that Hank is doing well and kicking. The title and quote is also well said. Anyone can turn their life around with effort and being with their loved ones around.
Wonderful story Hans. Thank you for sharing. My father used to be alcoholic as well. Thank God no one in the family is the same. God bless your life Hans.
Wow this is a very inspiring story. This only shows that we can change for the better no matter our history we have a chance for change and make amends. Good luck on your journey and I hope you inspire more people.
I believe your story. I believe all what you've said. A little effort and determination is required. Many people have been able to turn there lives around. You can also do it
Oliver Mueses most insurances have some form of free or discounted recovery wether it be inpatient or outpatient. Meetings are also always free, but I like to watch these to remind myself that I don’t want to go back to those days.
You cam always turn your life around but it all starts from you!!! Of course a lot of factors such as support system, environment etc plays into it but ultimately it starts and ends with you!!! Yes it is very doable you just have to start and stick with it.
How did you get all the way down from 11 yrs (the best deal offered by the prosecution) to 1 year? I like your story mate and I can relate in so many ways, but if a guy is a snitch I don't care how far he's come in his personal life, I lose respect for him. Forgive me if I'm way off the mark. If I'm way off then please disregard my apprehension, but if a man commits crime, then snitches on the people he met along the way just to reduce his sentence, it doesn't matter how far a guy comes, it's illegitimate if he's made other people serve time incarcerated to his advantage. I'm only asking though, not accusing, because I'd love to think it was genuine compassion from the court: but it just quite rare that's all.
Yeah you’re not off at all. He lost me when he said he put a woman in a wheelchair and then just continued to drink and not give a shit. I believe in 2nd chances but in his case he had so many opportunities that he fucked up.
very inspiring !! Blessed for having such a great channel. I will recommend specially to Indians to visit this channel . Definitely you will learn lots of discrete things.
How..... Wha.... Heh? It blows my MIND that someone could walk away from their children like that, knowingly leaving them in that situation. No offense you either of you. Just...... Damn.
this guy is like it made me feel six feet taller, I wish I was a baller I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat And a six-four Impala

Hohooooo, this is temptation for me personally , but I got the fact.
That ex-wife.....she didn't like that you were in a state, but felt ok to leave her kids? Your a better man than she is a woman.
