How did you unplug the battery connector so easily? Mine seems to be stuck. Trying to do a battery replacement.

It's glued in very tightly. Make sure you tug it with force but be careful

Swap to ssd and increase the ram.
My wife and I (after running the lappie through the Kingston website) got a 16GB ram chip each
If the processor is soldered to the motherboard, you are stuck with it
