You know what really sucks? The game is actually fun. All they need to do is: -Reduce the price of skins tenfold. There's no reason a single skin should cost $20 -Improve the rewards on the Battlepass. Make it so that you get coins from from completing tiers like...idk...every other battlepass in existence? -Give out more coins for weekly challenges or at least a different form of currency to buy older skins -Don't lock heroes behind 55 levels of the battlepass And aside from some hero balancing, the game is solid

The battle pass is to unlock the one specific hero that's added in that season. The rest of the heroes are locked for *new players* until they actually know how to play the game. Imaging jumping into a brand new game and having 35 options without knowing how the game works. You would try playing Echo and be absolutely blindsided.
And the PVP isn’t the same as before either. Only one tank makes tank a lot more fun to play while also not making them as oppressive as they were in OW1. You don’t spend the entire game shooting at shields. The entire 2CP game mode is gone. It’s actually fun to play now.
Couldn't stop playing Overwatch no matter how dead it was. Frustrating as it was, I loved it. Can't force myself to play more than an hour of Overwatch 2 every few days. They killed their ethics, but also the gameplay. Such a shame.
I appreciate that they made the game F2P as opposed to OW1 where I and many others at that time (Early Overwatch) had to pay $60 for what felt like a F2P game… Especially with the gacha which while it doesn’t effect the game, really felt unnecessary for a $60 game at the time.
I really hate that new players have to unlock the heroes. Being able to play every hero and new hero without paying for it was what made overwatch unique. Now it's just like the rest

@@spacedout4061 Well, the thing is that we the rate at which you gain experience for the battle pass is atrocious and the character itself is really far into the battle pass itself (rank 55 if I remember correctly). In the "good old" OW1 days we just had access to all heroes without restriction and on top of that we didn't had $20 skins (sure, there were lootboxes but you could actually earn them ingame without spending money in a rate of at least 4 per week, so it wasn't completely horrible)

I have played a couple games of Overwatch 2 and it's pretty fun but the queues and server issues yesterday were insane. Also I don't think this only happened to me but did anyone else's hero gallery say that Kiriko was locked but once you got in a quick play game you could pick her? (assuming you had Overwatch 1 before June or whenever you needed it to get Kiriko right away without having to grind the free battlepass)

In the gallery, it says that kiriko is just Locked in competitive. So that is prob how you tell what characters can be played in comp.
