Yo Reis, it was fun battling you in Louisville! Our match was my first time ever on stream, definitely let the nerves get to me by the end of that game 3 😅 I had called you bringing Talon, but towards the end of the game somehow convinced myself it was Dunsparce again instead which prompted all the weird plays to try to keep more health on Azu. Still though, GGs again and I'm sure we'll run into each other again at future regionals! -ToastyPawRick
It's definitely a respect thing. You're one of the best battlers in the world so most people you battle will not be at your level, especially early on in tourneys. Being able to complete the upset is just a matter of them being happy they were able to beat such a highly ranked, highly skilled battler, especially one they recognize. You're not the villian, you're just not the underdog.
I love all your videos but these “What Reis Was Thinking…” recaps are some of my favorite. When I’m watching you live I’m way too excited and these are like Free Master Class lessons afterwards ✌🏼💙🐒🕹️
Its not even a question. You have been a part of the elite / top players at tournaments and at GBL / youtube for a longe time. You are well known and liked by most. Of course people become excited when they get a game over you. If people would play the same team / games, lets say a 100 times against you, I would argue you would win most of them. Because you have consistently shown how to adept / learn quick. And most important; implement it. All youtube / twitch comments "knows" what was the right thing do to in a moment. But almost none of them could actually do it in real time. You do. Just look at your rankings, tournaments placements ect. Dont ever doubt yourself when it comes to skill level. People are people, hating. Ignore them. Hang with us and twich ;) much more fun and real. A real community that is cool and positive :D Have an awesome week! :D
44:26 I remember seeing this live during the stream and it had me annoyed a bit... When the game lags then the match should be stopped immediately. Reason being is now that battler has that card to play in there back pocket in the case that they lose and boom... on to review. And we all know that same battler wouldnt request a rematch if they won would they?(and why would they) And on top of it they get a free read to see what team was put out there this way they can make whatever adjustments they see fit. And Reis even says it in the video (that he had to make a mental note that his opponet lagged a turn) but still has to show his full team and play out the match knowing that it's probably all for nothing. And I get it... they're not going to stop a match mid stream.. thats bad production but something has got to be done.. how can we take competitive PVP seriously if the game isn't working correctly during a big live event!
No, we cannot stop games every time someone lags a turn. You have to play it out, in the event Arrohh wins the battle then the lag is inconsequential anyways. It’s not possible fundamentally to stop a battle every time there is a brief disruption.
@@MountnDewgongI typed above in my post that I understand why they wouldnt stop the match everytime theirs lag because that's just poor production however they need to figure out something. Like maybe the officials make that determination instead of a player filing a dispute. Kinda like officials in the NBA, NHL & NFL. If they see something they call it. And that's my point... person lags but doesn't dispute it if they win and only disputes the match if they lose. That's what I have an issue with. At the end of the day this is on the game not the battlers. This game runs soo poorly at times its laughable.
Hey Reis! Just a constructive feedback from a long time fan. Whenever you're gonna participate in a regional or aren't available to put out RUclips videos, you can update your YT viewers through the community posts. Not everyone follows you on twitter or twitch streams. Feels odd that there aren't RUclips videos for sometimes a whole week without any update
I appreciate the feedback. In 4 years, this is probably the first time I went a couple weeks with only 1 video. I don't anticipate that happening again any time soon but if that situation presents itself can communicate.
I quit the game at the start of this season, starved of stardust and TM’s with too many builds… then Psychic cup was horrific. So glad to see you still killing it. Maybe this is inspiration to fire it back up.
1:16:29, who wins CMP, Azumaril or Diggersby? Maybe save energy on Drapion and CMP sack swap with Azu so they lose energy and you get the ice beam off? If Diggersby wins CMP then I don’t think there’s a win con.
Hee Reis, regarding the excitement of the opponent winning, I think it’s more an expression/coping mechanism of stress on their end. I doubt they are routing against you, but if one is able to beat a very talented trainer like yourself, they (and their friends) can by really proud. Surely, I’m the “half-full-glass-kinda-guy”, but maybe you could see it as a positive. They managed to beat a very talented training, maybe even against their own expectations, hence that (surprise) feels good
Was watching this live and rooting for you! I've left and come back to this game multiple times and every time I get back to PVP I always come back to your channel. Keep up the great content and play!
Well played. I really like that you are sharing your thought proces. It’s champions league level. (EU highest soccer league ;) the lose con you see and neutralising it with throwing the crunch 👌🏻.
I will say I don’t know if I’d say moral conundrum is right word… I’ve watched many of these and I don’t think I’ve seen Reis concede the match. Cmiiw. Every time he’s playing to win, and unless proven otherwise the evidence doesn’t really point to this being a likely outcome and is not the most genuine consideration tbh
Good Games Reis! I had to do a double take while watching 'Love is Blind' with the wife. Your long lost brother 'Stephan2the Occasion' ended up being a total jerk, but since he is your brother I gave him a pass.
@@Reis2TheOccasion no fun being made here! I told the wife to rewind because he looked like a pogo pvp streamer I watch. She wasn’t as amused as me and thought you guys look nothing alike so 🤷
I mean, you do seem like you care a lot about the comments in general, but there's also nothing inherently wrong with that. 99% of people who would criticize you for "caring too much" about what people think or say about you, have never had a whole crowd of people all talking about them, lmao. It's really easy to say "just don't care about it 🤪" when you've never experienced what it's like
I wish there were no team sheets so the moves were a surprise. I also wish that half the team composition had to come from outside the top100 to make it more interesting.

Agreed, know you said you wanted to lose some lbs. Congrats!
also wanted to say the same thing. you look healthier and honestly a bit happier :)

I didn't know Pedro Pascal played PoGo!
Great run dude! Was great seeing you and talking to you for a short time! Keep up the great tournament runs, hope to see you again soon 💪

Maybe wait until the league rotation. Little cup and master league rn is pretty brutal

Came for the battle against itsaxew, was not disappointed, great battles
i feel like you dont get awkward watching yourself lmao. wholesome vid thx!
Your commentary and gameplay is A+ stuff. Thanks
thanks so much Matt
1:01:01 Haters gonna hate. Appreciate you dude.
Reis and Axn. My two favorite streamers
30:28 so wholesome 🥺
real talk, how have you learned who wins cmp? how do u remember their energy so well? like how do u even practice that
If you don’t mind…
Are you running a high attack Ariados?
Thanks.
I will say... I built a new Ariados with a specific spread for this tourney
Bro when are you gonna ask out Sophtoph
yo reis, way to go on the louisville! ignore the haters man, i'm rooting for you brother!
Yo Reis! I was on cobblestone Wisconsin for a week. I loved it there , people are so friendly!
Reis cares much about the comments, thats why we love him!
51:03 dont take it to heart, ur basically a celeb in the pogo community so im sure people would be excited to beat you haha

Incredible shirt Reis
Dont see you as a villain 😅
Think they're just excited to beat one of the best players
for sure a respect thing when people beat you and celebrate. No doubt in my mind
Keep up the great work Reis
Those plays are good but lets talk about those arms man! Looking fit 💪💪

You’re losing weight! Good man!🤙
Long reis vids hell yes
Only watched because of the shirt. Because it was a nice shirt. Well played. With the shirt choice.
I like the shirt, but I might like the shoes more 👀
Wondering where you hVe been. This explains.
Good Games Reis! I had to do a double take while watching 'Love is Blind' with the wife. Your long lost brother 'Stephan2the Occasion' ended up being a total jerk, but since he is your brother I gave him a pass.
All the kind comments on this video there had to be the one making fun of my looks for no reason 😂

Hey Reis! It's guys!
No
Ghey
No
Itsaxns downfall has been diabolical
Everyone wants to beat a world champ. Battlers specifically prepare for battling him and popular content creators. Itsaxin is still top 5 battler.
You are so much better looking than the rest of them 🎉
No shot my comment about the lag was deleted
You are always too concerned about the comments 😂
At 44:00 do yall think the one mud shot was the difference between Reis winning and losing?
Reis2theOccasion
only top 5? you didnt reis2theoccasion all the way this time😆
Bro drinking haterade
Reis. Your chest is looking wham in that interview with Caleb. Whatta thirst trap
so cool
❤❤❤❤

I agree but I think that only works if they are given full pokemon. You can't expect them to have powered up and double move that many pokemon
First 🎉
