Hey Dan, I found brushing on seam sealer works better. I use the little acid brushes, cut half the brissles off to make it stiffer and buy brushable seam sealer in a can. Amazon is the best deal for it.
You ain"t shitting, prices are stupid crazy! Everything from paint to sandpaper here in the states. But it beats walking the streets! Anyway looking good, I appreciate you.
seam sealer at 13:00 ...i am on a paint and body fb page and one guy in there says hes a body guy and uses liquid nails outdoor urethane formula for seam sealer. i bought a couple tubes to use. worth a shot ,right?
i need to access the crossmember bolts...with the rails boxed, the battery box was in the way and was removed. Never liked that battery location anyway, with a carpeted floor, it's a pain in the ass!
Enjoying your videos and learning a bunch of things for my 47 GMC restoration.
Right on!...Welcome aboard!
Looking good, I've been off all week tinkering around the house, the cabs looking good. Have a great weekend.
Thanks, have yourself a good weekend as well!
That battery floor hatch makes a good place to mount compressor and valves for air bags
interesting thought...thanks for watching!

Cool! Any tip to save a buck is more than welcome, thanks!
That would be an interesting product type comparison of the body sealer vrs the latex!
No doubt! Latex stays flexable and is paint friendly...I don't see the difference!
Yeah,Pete from SWRNC uses some type of caulking from Home Depot for seam sealing.
Yeah...I'm gonna try out a couple different ones and see what works best! Thanks for watching!
im subscribed ! Glad i found your build. i may bounce a few ideas off you in the coming days.

Try buying seam sealer at Napa , black is cheapest, followed by grey then clear
For me...Napa store is on the other side of town...20 bucks in gas!

the battery sits to the outside of the frame so why would the crossmember be a problem
