Marco Polo feat. Masta Ace "Nostalgia" from the upcoming album Port Authority in stores May 15th. Make sure to cop that. Support Real Hip-Hop ! - Видеоклипы
It’s criminal how underrated Ace is. His songs have so much knowledge, he talks about real stuff, he’s so smooth with his lyrics and flow it’s crazy. I’ve never heard a bad Masta Ace song, no cap
So true. So goddamn smooth it’s unreal. Never heard anything quite as nice. Can’t seem to find find anything else to scratch that itch
i saw masta ace still perform at a club with less then 30 people, and no one was engaging except maybe 10 of us. and he still went in on stage, like it was jammed pack. i respect the fuck outta that, masta ace remains one of my favourite artists and this is a huge reason why, he was down to chop it up after the show with us to. straight legend.
Kids kids calm down hahaa. He’s not underrated. Eminem literally copied his flow 😂. 50 and buckshot said they wouldn’t be nothing without born to roll. He’s one of the greatest rappers of all time. Every NY rapper messes with him - boogeyman cuz he killed him with acknowledge.
@@kylegray3838 where was it? He sold out first Ave before the pandemic so I don’t think I’d worry about him hahahaha.
Never, Not in my House ☮️
That's how hip-hop should be. Blacks and whites chilling together.

2024 here. Why can't music nowadays be great like this?
Right here with you brother
Litterally found ace last month, not sure how i missed homie growing up, reminds me of like slick rick mixed with black thought
Just listening to this for the first time.

2020 and this is still fresh. Hip Hop is timeless.
#blacklivesmatter
Yaaap
Absolutely agree 2020 still listening classic flow
I just said to my man imagine the feeling they must have had after producing this. Utter class.
Will always be fresh!!!
Probably the most underrated MC of all time
I going to say yes and Melle Mel to your list (Beat Street) realist rhyme I ever heard.
Always rated by the ones that know 👊
Also probably the most consistent been goin since 88 and always kept it real
Also it’s crazy how the legends from our era had to earn there name in hiphop circles & some never got there proper due But in this generation a shitload of these young lil rappers get too much praise & credit & still can’t spit dope bars.
There are way to many underrated emcees like these, it's a damn shame! There are some serious spitters out there these days that carry the torch but they barely get 1K views..
This video makes me wish I had friends that listen to real Hip Hop like me, seems so chill just doing this, chilling in the streets and shit, like the old days!
Haha I feel you. same here.
***** Yeah I'm sure exactly that happened everywhere, sometimes all you need is yourself and the people you are closest with..
I feel you bro
+PhatCat I have those friends. Damn cool.
+PhatCat Imagine the situation when the only one who knows the language and listens to real rap is you. Nobody feels it as much as you and the best known "rap stars" in your country are fuckin peasants who dont know what HH is. The saddest shit is when Disco Polo is more popular than real music. Fuck my life. Greetings from Poland EU.
Hip hop!!! Where have you gone!!?!? You make appearances here and there!! There’s sightings of you like this joint here !! This joint is real hip hop!! We miss you!!
2023 anybody ? Certified classic
Absolute classic.
2024 y’all 🔥🔥🔥🤔💯

This beat makes you feel like you can make it somewhere I swear.
nice melody to the music...you dont hear that melody anymore its all gone
Future I just listened to this for the last 3 hours straight. The places my mind went, the feeling of empowerment and pride was immense. Ace does things like this to your soul when he gets on. The beat is sublime when paired with his flow.
Rune K1ng Th0r 👌
Real hip hop like this motivates you to make it somewhere.
Yeah man such a inspiring sound.🤎
I've been married to the game since '88, you just committed 🔥🔥🔥
Just left a MASTA ACE & MARCO POLO concert in Lisbon Portugal. 09/06/2022
Had a grown man in tears and emotions flowing…. Such class and quality it is undeniably once of the best partnerships in hip hop, ever! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️ one love ! L O V - E! Give me some of that good ol’ loooove!!
you lucky fucker ! :D
That's incredible, I would've shed a tear too no doubt. Blessings
One of the better comments I've read on here. Respect brother
That’s awesome bro. Ace is one of the greatest mc’s IMO.
For anyone interested i can try uploading some shorts from the concert right upfront in the nosebleeds
this is what hip hop is supposed to be about.
Arturo Carter this is what hiphop is about
hiphop is still alive in japan and france not trap crap
Arturo Carter FACTS!!
@@jeffw9465yes this is great 🎉
This is what real music sounds like... Feel the beat, feel the vibe. Nod your head and get in the zone. Run the track back a few times and listen to the lyrics... If you can't feel this you don't know music. ~Gone.
exactly
This song is proof that Hip-Hop has no race. White producer + Black MC = Dope music.
amen brother well said
salute!
***** IS that why white people do it better? lol.
No offence though.
Nothing will bring back the vibe of late 80s and the 90s...The Earth was a different planet back then...Around 2004 EVERYTHING changed dramatically... for a worse.
🎯🎯🎯
everything changed after 2009 i think maybe because of social media
Accidently found this song and now I can't stop listening to it
masta ace is a legend
You maybe diagnosed yourself with the BOOM BAP SYNDROME .. WELCOME 🙏

"Hip-Hop used to be so thick in the air
When it was there you ain't even need a kick and a snare
It could have been finger snaps and hand claps
But nowadays it feels a little different when a man raps"
Damn... made me stop bobbing my head and just be sad for a minute...
As long as there are sites like RUclips, Hip Hop's legacy will be secure here because you can see it, hear it, feel it, absorb it in your mental and educate yourself in it. We're fortunate!

Masta Ace a legend. In my top 5 greatest lyricists of all time.
i'd give him most underrated as far as mainstream 90-00 music goes
Rakim, Del, biggie, pac, nas, doom, kendrick, cl smooth, ace, slick the ruler
Ace is an incredible lyricist glad I’m not the only one who can hear that!
He’s in my top 1 👌☮️
Dno about top 5 but he's up there for sure, disposable arts was such a creative album
older rappers by far better than the new ones any day. still waiting for hip hop to comeback
Soon bro
Lemme know when
one of the greatest hip hop songs ever. its one of those songs that has infinite replayability

I still listen to this song in 2023 and it still feels brand new to me and crazy thing at 9 years old I met Marco Polo when my brother would take me with him to go see his friends never knew he was this talented and of course masta ace is the ish too 🙌🏽
People be talkin mad shit
2023 still fresh, Ace is definitely underrated.
Goosebumps. This is what Hiphop is about. Sick beats, sick flows, sick lyrics, it has it all!
+Paul S. It has All 5 Elements
and people coming together in peace no matter the race or the age or whatever ... just based off enjoying the culture
Idk what to say about this track. It's soulful, nostalgic, man.... Nearly made me cry.. Real Hip-Hop..
We bumping to this in 2021 🥳🔥
❤👍
Yes we is
Of all the songs ever created, this DIAMOND is in my top 10....ALL TIME. PERIOD.
Ace is another one who is so consistent in the Game.
Ace and Scarface
This beat is "instant head nod".
Dam Master Ace. This track still sounds crispy in 2022.
CANT LIE, THIS BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY OLD EYE ;) GREAT TO HEAR THE ART FORM IS STILL ALIVE
ima come clean... im a hiphop head and its the FIRST time i hear this, i never took the time to game masta ace... lord forgive me for my sins
+Hino Maru you're not the only one man. I've been pretty lazy of late and this is without a doubt a breath of fresh air.
Damn shame.. Jeepass nigga was constantly being played
masta ace came out with an album in 2014 and another one this year. you gotta check both out. must listen for any real hiphop fans man
Hino Maru You should listen to "What is it" from the Midnight Club soundtrack.
a long hot summer and the falling season
Seriously... One of the best hip hop artists of all time.
Wow. It feels like it just came out yesterday. Anybody still rocking this in 2019?
Those cold looking backdrops in NY are what hiphop is all about man.
I don't know if it is just me, but this video makes me feel nostalgic, is it strange? Because it actually makes no sense, i'm feeling nostalgic about a reality i've never been in. It's just that, feeling this connection between these people makes me feel in ecstasy, it is like i can feel, through the flow of this music, how connected and smooth they lived together. I don't know man, maybe i'm just talking shit. I have this same feeling with Adult Swim Bumps.
+Storm Istery hahahahaha man i swear thats totally what i thought when I first heard the track, i was kinda happy while watchin the video haha, youre not alone with that
+Storm Istery Believe it or not, I understand what you're saying.
+MC 808 Oh, and the scratching is superb. I wasn't expecting it in the song, the shit gave me little chills.
that's how good ace is at telling stories, you relate to him completely, old school lyricist man
+Storm Istery it's funny you mention that because i felt the exact same way while listening.. it's that beginning bit where he's buying that drink. just takes me back to simpler times.
its awesome to see a white and a black guy chilling to music together in the beginning
Not to mention the part where the disc scratching comes on, and it shows an Arabian lady come on, with one of those things on her head that they wear. I love that about this video. They show that rap has nothing to do with race. Just the flow. Rap is rap. And we all just the same thing. Humans. Humans are humans.
***** the white dude produced this song..
yeah i know ?
Zachary Pearce woah calm down zach. ahaha
***** your comment sucks, we don´t need your comment, you can delete it again
Sounds as fresh as when i first heard it 14 years ago. Forever a timeless classic. Masta Ace the goat
This is hip hop... 🙏🏼🤙🏼👍🏼
why he ain't popular ? ... dont get it ...
Europe greets ya , do yo thang !!!
that's awesome.. but it would be soooo cool if such people rocked the stage... we would have gotten rid of Lil Waynish artists long time ago...
hopefully it will :) I keep getting back to real hip hop.. can't get used to "new" hip hop , which I wouldn't even call hip hop tbh.. Stretching all the lines and squeaking like a bitch isn't music..
i hear you kasia !
he's just underground, like the beatles.
I thought he is popular, to hip-hop listeners at least
Celebrating 50 years of hip hop, with this banger right here🎉🎉🎉🎉
Mixed emotions, this song makes u feel happy and sad at the same time.
Readed some of the comments... So much love and possitive thoughts... It's really amazing how one song can do that. Quality these days is rare...
@Jay Dee He'd spell it 'red'.
One of my favorite hip-hop songs off all-time
The Real Brooklyn's finest!
That 240p says a lot about the times
Respect to the real Hip-Hoppers out there, I love it!!!!!
RESPECT FROM POLAND ! GREAT TRUE RAP !
This gives me feeling of being young again. 89 kid mate ❤❤🎉🎉
now this,this is hiphop
I really love hiphop tracks that instead of singing in chorus, they have scratches and these funny voice i dont know how you call it...And it is also really nice watching blacks and whites together in hiphop videoclips.Enough with stupid racism and segregation, hiphop is for everybody it is universal
Funny voices are called samples with scratches in a Real Hip - Hop song! ✌😉
KTHREE31 haha ok i didnt know the accurate definition in English
Classic. One of my all time favorite videos. This shit is so Hip Hop.
How i lived it
How i listend
Thankyou to the hiphop generation that made life beautiful...👍
The good thing about hearing something this dope for the first time is that its new to you. Thats when you realize it doesn't matter what radio play. The real shit will prevail!!

same over here in germany ... one gold nugget in my list for almost a decade
Ace is the best. Undeniable
2020 This song will remain immortal.
0:43 "what's that right there" That's real hip hop my man, i love this to much. That moment when he turns op the volume and the beat gets that warm sound, i feel so good at that moment
This is the kind of hip hop you not only feel in your head, but you feel in your soul.
2023 & STILL FRESH
Masta Ace is truly a legend. God bless him for keeping real Hip Hop alive.
Truth be told, Ace should be recognized as highly like a Jay Z and Nas!😡😡😡😡😡
Nas and Ace are the 2 rappers that really just feel like they're talking to me when they rap Nas is my goat Ace is up there aswell for sure along with Pac, Big, Em, Hov, Meth
This kind of hiphop is so dear to me I come back to this song every once in a while. It's so inclusive. No over sexualisation, no over usage of curse words. It's just the young, the old, the white, the blacks, the men, the women enjoying life.
This East Coast Flava At It's Finest... Texas Bred!! SALUTE!!!👊🏿
Real Hip Hop is forever
THANKS MARCO POLO, freaking shit drives me to feel good, never have I been to a big city, but your music makes me feel like I know you somehow, but I would guess that is what your music is suppose to make us feel.
What small city are you from?
one of the best and most realest songs ever made.
Can't get bored of this even after yrs of listening pull it up about 7 8 times b4 I'm done everytime

@@777NuBelgrade Rap & Hip Hop Died long ago with Jay-Z, 50 Cent & Co... and it just gets worser (nowadays) bre! BS 4 Life :)
@@SomeOne-ob6dx what? You're skipping a decade of dopeness.. When Rakim dropped his first album in 1979 hip hop transformed. Because of Rakim's complex lyricsm dope MC's emerged, krs one, rza, mf doom, big daddy kane, ll cool j, etc..
@@Oldheadhiphop yeah i give you right man, but all i tried saying was that (real) hip hop died (at least for me) with jay-z 50 cent & co. Before them becoming BIG nearly everything was cool ..., i saw ice-t, public enemy , ice cube , onyx, gravediggaz , run dmc, guru, gang starr etc live on stage.
@@SomeOne-ob6dx Hell yeah bro! There's still some dope artist out there man
This joint is timeless. This is the type of hip hop that needs to be on the radio. Not some rap that nobody can't understand like mumbling
240p and beyond! respect. 👍🏼😁💎
Hip-Hop Lives!!! 🙏🏻🎤✌🏼
Classic, timeless, real hiphop never die!!!
How did this not sell 10 million copies, get 1 billion views and earn 5 Grammys is beyond me.
Straight UNADULTERATED Hip Hop! The refresh!
Remember getting Masta's first album postin high at age 13, I still have it, so much respect 4 him, London UK
Faith in Hip-Hop restored. For 5 minutes...
I love hip hop and rap, and Masta Ace shows that its for everybody, not just black people but whites, Latinos, Asians, and just everybody. Something everyone can listen to. That's a real rapper. Not someone who's saying nigga this nigga that but showing he's not someone for just the click clack where anyone can rap commercializing crap saying fuck that but turning the next page where anyone from any race or age can get on the stage and spit because gangster life aint just it but for painters racers and art majors. So kick the can as far as you can but you aint gunna get that far because money ain't just it fam. Neither is the fame or the booty because that shits lame, no disrespect but these people don't have talent they dont put the pen to the paper they just sell it. But rap, I fell for it. An escape from the harsh reality. Something everyone can see.
80s and 90s was that last good years. So thankful to be alive
Hip Hop excellence = Masta Ace & DJ Marco Polo
This is Real HipHop love 4ever
This track reminds me on beautiful times back in bronx... 4 years ago, but feels so long.. #nostalgia
THIS OLDER MAN IN THIS VIDEO.ON THE STEPS.. LOOKS JUST MY FATHER. HE PASSED IN JUNE 1985..HE WAS IN WORLD WAR 2..IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC 1945.HIM AND HIS TWIN BRO WAS DRAFTED. BUT YA I LOVE YOUR MUSIC.NEW YORK IS HUGE.. ALL THOSE BRICK BUILDINGS TOO.. GOOD BUILDERS.. LOVE YOU. TAKE CARE. THANKS FOR SHOWING NEW YORK.. WE NEED MORE OF THIS TYPE MUSIC..
I remember when I heard this song the first time 15 years ago; hearing that Erick Sermon line, "this might be my last", I thought for sure Ace was telling us that he was hanging it up for good. My heart sank, for real. Still wonder to this day if that's really what he meant for this song to be and then had second thoughts. Whatever the reason, thank you for sticking around Ace. And thank you for giving him plenty of tracks to lace, MP.
Love that Roxanne Shante sample.
