when i watched this live it was the first time i ever willingly watched golf, i was probably really bored, saw it on and decided to give it a shot. This was my introduction into golf from a fan's point of view. It was hard to watch the meltdown, but I actually fell in love with the game when I realized how quickly everything could just go to shit lol. Jordan is now one of my top 3 favorite players, I'll never forget this.

I didn't like golf buy watched the British open one Sunday afternoon one year because there was a Brit in the lead (can't remember who he was, but he's not really been a contender before it since). Of course he messed it up being a British sportsmen and all. But really enjoyed it. But it wasn't untill this year's Masters that I really got hooked. Having £5 on Speith at 11-1 helped with my enjoyment of it (untill the 12th on day four of course).

I believe, as he appeared to say, that starting on the tenth hole he simply tried to play safe, and this ruined his game. Sort of like when a football team gets a big lead and starts to play conservative which then allows the opponent back in the game. He needed to keep his swing aggressive but he instead eased up to play safe and this does not work in golf because one should not change tempo like that. Yes, he simply tried to protect his lead, played "not to lose"

I just went through what Spieth went through. Today, while I was hitting from the same tees as my dad, I had a 6 stroke lead heading into hole 15. In that hole, I scored a seven and he scored a 5. I was still 4 strokes on top, though. In 16, I scored a 7 and he scored a 4. Then in 17, I scored a 4, and he scored a 3. All of the sudden, we were tied. I barely made it out alive with a draw. If we were always close throughout the game, I would've been satisfied, but with a 6 shot lead, I'm just so angry at myself. Heck, how will I turnout with this loss?

I'm not much of a gambler. But I'll do the odd bet on big sporting events. I'd never bet on golf before but had a feeling about Speith this year. I went to my bookies (they're legal here in the UK) and asked the odds on speith winning the masters. It was 11-1 so I put £5 on it. I was watching the masters live, planning on going down the pub for a few drinks and then for a Curry. Seeing as I'm going to be collecting £59 pound in the morning, I thought I'll treat myself. And then this happened. I've never been able to bring myself to betting on golf again.

Going at that pin on Sunday is the biggest mistake of the masters. Under no circumstance do you go for that pin. Jordan was told this by countless players. But he didn't listen. Losing that tournament the way he did messed him up because of all the players that told him never to go for that pin. You can't win the tournament on that hole. But you can lose it. And boy did he. That hole was created to mess with your head. To lure you in. Everything about that hole is a trap.
