I’ve never heard of a butter keeper. I loved this video. I’m going to look for a butter keeper. It makes so much sense. Tell me more about the water in the base of the crock. Ohhhh. And yes, I see it’s your three things video. Way to go. I’ll put you in the playlist. Sister Circle getting things done. You’ve got searchable, pillar content. Hurrah!

I am a potter and I had never heard of butter keepers until a few years ago. Someone asked me if I made them. I looked them up, found out what they were and started making them. They are very cool and makes it so nice for toast and fresh bread. So glad she introduced me to them. Love your video. Good reasons to won a butter keeper.

Strange, but her butter was still spreadable. My butter stays in a vintage covered Pyrex butter dish on the counter and doesn't spoil but it also is very firm despite our home being a constant 70 degrees. Hi freaky geak I would change the water when I wash it...it gets used up quick although further down in the comments 1/2 tsp of vinegar is recommended to keep the water fresh!
