I think it's great more factories should use less machine and hire more people. So more people have the opportunity to work. Lots of jobs are being replaced by machines these days 🙄

This man reminds me of my boss. I work as a luthier/guitar-tech in a very small music shop in Britanny, France, and my boss has the same kind of humor and respect for his employees. He is a self-made man who worked his ass off to make his shop what it is now. I would not be there today without him, and I wish everyone to find a job where you feel trusted and valued by your boss.

This summer I worked for a Frenchman like this who made wine. He spoke in the same passionate poetic way that would be ridiculous in any other language. But when he spoke it all seemed totally normal. We need more people like this. Especially in Holland where I live and where they treat food with the same passion they treat washing the dishes.

Jean-Yves Bordier is such a Poetic man. Dished out dozens of metaphors and poems within this interview. Definitely needs to be adored. Manufacturing industries needs more people like him.
What a character that guy is. He's honest that he's not trying to recreate the old butter, but using traditional methods to produce modern butter and you have to admire someone like that.
He's a good boss. The way he interacts with his staff tells us. And, towards the end with those lines of my mates & machines gives us the whole picture by keeping his hand on his heart.

I’ve tried this butter when I stayed in Monaco for a while. Is excellent: creamy, salty on the right amount and flavorful. Not that expensive to my surprise! If you can, give it a try!

@@etb6250 exactly, if they properly sanitize prior to working with the food, and aren’t touching anything that’s not sanitary, or other food that is a contamination risk, it’s actually more sanitary then using the gloves, gloves have the potential to add in micro plastics into the food, and a lot of people that use gloves, don’t sanitize their hands properly because they have that “extra layer of protection”. You’d be surprised at how bad some people are about washing their hands properly if they are going to be using gloves.
as a professional chef for a really successful restaurant, i believe i can speak to this with some authority. good butter makes a real difference in cooking. Big time.
I’m just a home baker/cook & have to agree! I used French butter for my orange cranberry loaf today; it was twice as expensive as the off brand American butter I used last time but the result was so much better in terms of flavor but especially texture.

There's a big difference between making butter and making the best possible butter, this is true for just about everything, even the simplest things.

@@etb6250 exactly, if they properly sanitize prior to working with the food, and aren’t touching anything that’s not sanitary, or other food that is a contamination risk, it’s actually more sanitary then using the gloves, gloves have the potential to add in micro plastics into the food, and a lot of people that use gloves, don’t sanitize their hands properly because they have that “extra layer of protection”. You’d be surprised at how bad some people are about washing their hands properly if they are going to be using gloves.
as a professional chef for a really successful restaurant, i believe i can speak to this with some authority. good butter makes a real difference in cooking. Big time.
I’m just a home baker/cook & have to agree! I used French butter for my orange cranberry loaf today; it was twice as expensive as the off brand American butter I used last time but the result was so much better in terms of flavor but especially texture.
