Wow. 2013!!! I'm floored that Apple has not pushed this important resource into education. An Apple TV is just as valuable as the iPad or Macs in the classroom.
why do both the Apple TV and the iPad have to be connected to the network? Can they not connect directly? Ideally I would want to be able to show a ppt, on the projector but with the presenter view on the iPad. I would also like to be able to stand around 5 m away at the back of the classroom whilst still controlling the screen. And one last thing to make the pats interactive I would want to be using the Apple Pencil (or other) so pupils could write on the iPad and their calculations or question answers appear on the screen.
