I was facing the same issue in windows 8.1 and lenovo laptop. This method helped me though it took around 1hour but the brightness issue got solved and no files or apps were affected. Thanks a ton man👍🏾😉Good work..

no it does'nt delete your picture or video.... but it might uninstall some softwares.... before doing this operation you can always check which software will be uninstalled

download driver easy software it will automatically detect your PC driver ,there you can find the required driver for your window os.
