I've been taking longer rest and avoiding climbs that aggravate my knee, for now. Just gotta be patient and let my body heal.
Much love and have a lovely day!

Damn bro, I’ve had that knee pop!! Sucker swelled up and I was limping for weeks. I get injured a lot and do a lot of research on rehab. Hope you’re doing all you can buddy! Keep climbing around the injuries (as opposed to thru) like you are doing ❤

Hi rockentry. Thank you for sharing you personal injury. It makes me comfortable talking about how this January I suffered a compression fracture of my t3 and multiple slipper discs in my neck skiing this past winter. For about 3 months I wasn’t able to do much and I think that state of mind puts one in a really dark place. Thankfully my spinal cord was fine and all of may I’ve been back climbing outside again and it is crazy how much stronger I feel mentally just being able to get out and exert myself in a fun sport

So inspirational. Coming back from a tennis elbow injury that put me out for 3 months, I had just had my best sesh yet tonight. And then come to watch this by chance. Killing it 🙏😎🫶

Dude, I don't know if you've done something different but your last few videos have been so good. This sort of almost sombre introspective vibe for this was so good to watch. Excellent video. Congrats on making the move!

I dislocated my femur and shattered my pelvis taking a bad bouldering fall about 5 months ago. Hope you heal up quickly Oz. Injuries suck but they give us a chance to come back stronger next time.

I love seeing you recover like that man. Being injuried is part of the life of pretty much every climber, and you represented it so well. The process of slowly facing your own fear, the building up of strength and resistense the mental battle that comes with it. Thank you for this content, and for showing us what is like to fall but also how to get up again

Happened to me on the moonboard. The injury is from your fibula being immobile in your ankle and hyper-mobile in your knee. Massage of the fibular ball of your ankle until it loosens then your fibula up your leg will prevent injury in the future. The stiffness is from compressive impact to the ankle joint, ie hitting the deck. Stay flexy

I did something similar to my knee as you did to your left one. Do you know what exactly you injured?

You can dab outdoors? I thought you could use anything. Or are you only allowed to use the "official holds" if you want to say you did "problem ABC" ?

that breakthrough go is so good to watch. when your mind realizes that you can physically make the move and lets go of the mental block and now its just replicating the movement.

I'm coming back from an ankle injury myself so it's good to see I'm not the only one on that grind. It's so hard not being able to do what you mentally feel capable of.

Hi, I had the same with my left knee, when the knee popped during a hard heel hook move. ...lateral ligament injury and two month break in climbing! 🥴After 3 months no pain anymore.

"I just forgot...I have to relearn it." Now if you only recorded your climbs and could look at the video to see what you did before. Oh wait. ;) ;) ;) Ribbing aside, I feel your pain having hurt my knee bad enough that initially I would be happy if I could just walk normally. But after having surgery and 8 months later I was back to climbing without thinking about my knee. Be careful and patient. Good luck man!

I’m very cautious at bouldering, just learning to be more brave since I know how it is to break a leg. Now seeing this I’m back in my thought bubble 🫣 Damn, wishing you a good recovery!
