VECTOR battery charger

I'm not driving enough to keep the battery charged. This is the charger I purchased.
The VECTOR Battery Charger and Battery Maintainer, BC15BV, is a charger, maintainer, reconditioner and quick booster that also helps to extend battery life and reverse battery damage. It is designed for 12-Volt lead-acid batteries and is compatible with all AGM/GEL/WET battery systems. The 50 amp engine start gives you a quick boost of power to jump start vehicles in 60 seconds. The Smart Charge feature automatically selects charge rate and adjusts from rapid charge to trickle charge to maximize battery life and compensates for low voltage and temperature extremes. Nice presentation. There are a handful of different branded chargers with basically this same case and the exact same front panel. I had the Walmart (Everstart Maxx) version but replaced it with this one when I discovered the great cord management built into the Vector unit on another RUclips video.

This is a charger not a jumper. Jumper helps to to jump the car while connected.

Your battery has to have some voltage in order for the charger to confirm proper connection.

@@jamesalston8134 pretty much looks that way. Test it with a voltage meter to be absolutely sure it has zero voltage.

Just purchased this same model February 2024 and it's now slightly different in that the charge button is re-badged and toggles between Lithium/Lead Acid. So, lithium LiFePO4 (Lithium-Iron-Phosphate) type battery's are possible with the updated unit.
