Sir very well explained this means a technical BA still needs the fundamentals of a functional BA plus some additional tech stack such as cloud & APIs knowledge, Data mapping, Data visualization and analysis.
The concern is valid but please understand that automation is only a tool to help you function optimally. Automation is only going to kill jobs where logical reasoning and analytical power is not going to be required, at least for the foreseeable future. The Business analysis is the core skill and functional business analysis is the starting point. You can always upskill (As per the market) and upgrade yourself.
@TechcanvassAcademy This means 100 % automation is not possible. There will be new tools to help Business analyst. So we can upgrade according to market. As far as I know BA in future can become product owner / product manager. product manager nowdays are in high demand. Am I right ?
@TechcanvassAcademy it means 100 % automation not going to happen. And Business Analyst role is going to stay. I believe BA in future can become Product owner /product manager. Product managers are in high demand nowadays. Am I right sir..
Hi sir, is a technical BA equivalent to what a solution architect does? He defines the solution technically with designs, db structures, process flows etc.. Does not necessarily do the coding... So are they same?
No, These are two different roles. Technical BA is not involved with Tech solution design (DB design, Architecture etc) like a Tech architect or Solutions architect. A solutions architect is a professional who has a programming background with solution architecting skills. A Tech BA does not come from programming background (at not least mandatory).
@@TechcanvassAcademysir but I have gone through thousands of job descriptions for ba ..python and SQL is a must ...I am having three years of experience as a data engineer and currently persuing mba ..I am quite confused should I go for technical ba or data product manager ..can you please guide me ?
If you are into Data Analytics, then this BA falls under Business Data Analyst. There also there are two types - One is reporting and one data analyst. The reporting BA needs to learn Data analysis, Power BI and SQL whereas the Data analyst needs to also learn Python/R. But if you refer to Functional BA, then the JD has to be as you can see here: www.naukri.com/job-listings-business-analyst-5-yrs-capital-market-investment-banking-gsn-consulting-gurugram-bengaluru-6-to-11-years-190124010895?src=jobsearchDesk&sid=17266476714501478&xp=1&px=1 www.naukri.com/job-listings-business-analyst-wipro-limited-hyderabad-pune-bengaluru-3-to-8-years-170924920714?src=cluster&sid=17266476714501478_2&xp=3&px=1 These are BA roles known as Functional BA. For a Technical BA (non data analyst), you may need to learn APIs and SQL
