That's a much better idea, as my memory is shite. Half the time I forget which game I'm playing and say the wrong intro. You guys just don't ever see those bloopers!
When you make your boxes, did you know you can label them? Label them with what's in them to make sorting easier. You can also make and leave boxes at towns to store stuff you might need later, but don't want to take with you right now. I leave them just outside of a town along the road, so I can see them when I driving by. The lead plates for the metal boxes are not to hard to find. When you encounter a car battery, break it down with a blunt object like a wrench or club to get lead plates. It's worth the effort as the metal box has the most space.
I usually label my boxes. I just wish you could see what the labels were when the crates are in the vehicle inventory. I'd like to just have most of my crates back at base and only ever be out long enough to fill the vehicle inventory before heading home.
FYI, today I get my cruiser. 🎉😊 I found a battery and bought a seat, now I just have to run all the way from B1, where my base is, to Z3 to get it. Hopefully I can find a bicycle or dirt bike I can get running so I don’t have to go all that way on foot. I considered teleporting but na, too cheaty.
That does make a lot more sense. I, personally, would like to see the vehicles be manual transmission. Yes, that makes driving more complex, but it also makes a lot more sense, since you can't roll-start an automatic transmission like you can with every vehicle in SCUM. It would also allow for better speed control, as your top speed would be determined by what gear you're in. That being said, I'd be fine with them leaving the vehicles as automatic (pretending they're manual), but give us a throttle adjuster via the scroll wheel like we already have with the planes and bicycles.
Yep. "Oh no! The killer/monster is coming! But the car that has never had a problem starting suddenly has a fouled sparkplug or a flooded carburetor and won't start until the last possible second!"
I have heard her on the recordings from time to time. Not every time, but often enough that I feel obligated to note it if I can hear it through my headphones.
I used to have that, but people requested I shorten the time to make it more exciting. "Gotta get to the drop and clear out the puppets before it blows!" kinda thing. Though I usually get there plenty early, so there's not really much of a rush, either way. The crappy part is, after the video, I went after the cargo drop, and it never dropped. The puppets were there, but the drop never showed up!
@ Did you look up into the sky? Sometimes the “drop” will get stuck up in the air. It’s not really there, it is in-fact invisible on the ground. If you can find the invisible container, you can open it. Once inside it will look like you’re high in the sky, stepping back out is a bit scary as you’re sure you’ll fall, but nope, you just step onto the ground. This has happened to me twice in the 4 years I’ve been playing. The first time I was playing with my sister, to her it was a perfectly normal drop, to me it was up in the sky. Weird. 😵💫
I looked up and nothing. I drove around the whole area and never found an invisible container. This is the second time I've had a drop just not show up.
I still have yet to do a kill box. Maybe we can try that sometime on The Wolf Pack Server. Pretty much everybody has said to avoid them solo, so I doubt I'll be trying one on Single Player. I may turn the gloves into rubber bands, though, as rubber bands seem more difficult to find than rubber gloves. Why can't you ever find rubber bands in packs or bundles? Why is it always "here's a random rubber band in a puppet's pocket"?
Exactly! The "stop pushing" action should be more or less immediate. And there have been times when I tried to quickly get into the vehicle because I was being chased by puppets, but started pushing the vehicle instead and then got mauled to death.
You have a cell phone, and you found the soap. NOW put the soap in your personal inventory and the mission will be completed. with the phone you don't have to go to the trader to complete the mission. Also, check your phone for messages. Around the map there are job boards with more missions so you don't always need to get them at the trader.
@@FlailyMcFlailerson If you want to have to go to the trader to complete the mission, then ditch the cell phone. Just put it in your car and it will prevent the auto completion.
We'll build a kitchen in the base, and I'll just use the oven at the house up the hill, since we can't craft an oven for baking currently. But the rest of the cooking will be done in the base.
The rubber glove are primarily use in PVP games where locks can have shocker traps attached. They’re insulators.
@@daviddonaghy4723 shocking. 😂😂😂
When you want to take something, like that Propane tank, don’t rely on your memory, carry it out and place it in the middle of the road. 👍

The vehicles used to crunch the gear changes and handle appallingly when one had zero driving skills. This made more sense.

@FlailyMcFlailerson I guess my old ears don't hear that tone anymore hahaha
The only use for the cutting boards are to turn them into tinder bricks.
I have my cargo drops set to stay 30min. That gives me time to finish up what I’m doing and not have to rush to get there.

Turn the rubber gloves into rubber bands and if you do a kill box you use them while lock picking to protect yourself from the lock protection

I agree it’s too easy to accidentally push your vehicle. Also, why does it take something like 3 min. to stop pushing it? 🤷♂️

I don't have to actually take the items back to the trader? That's actually a little disappointing. It's convenient, but kinda breaks the immersion.
