You should make a trip to the castle. Its usually littered with swords, bows and arrows. A better, more powerful bow, and a bunch of metal and carbon arrows would help you a lot.
That was my intent before going to the quarry, but my hunt for a vehicle got the better of me. I will make a castle run soon, as I'm almost out of good arrows. And this 35# bow sucks...
I actually crafted that improvised rifle, the scope, and the improvised rail with the gilly gun wrap. It’s pretty sweet and not much items to craft it either. Next is to see if the improvised silencer will work on it or not
Don't the lockpick bundles max out at 10 lockpicks, whereas the bobbypin box holds up to 20? I usually just craft the number of lockpicks I need and leave them on the floor in the vicinity of the lockers so they're not taking up inventory space.
You can change the number of active quest you can have in the settings, under NPCs I think, or there may be a special category. I’ll check when back at my computer.
I thought I had turned it off from the last time you mentioned it with the WWII bunkers, but I guess it got turned back on somehow. I've noticed with updates, sometimes my settings get screwy and I'm not sure why. I guess just more SCUM bugs.
If you have multiple of a gun, you can break down a gun and use the parts to repair another gun, of the same type. I believe you need a tool box to break a gun down to parts.
Yes, you do need a toolbox, unless they changed that. I've only done that a couple times, as I usually find gun cleaning kits, which are easier to carry and store than a whole other gun. But perhaps I should keep spare weapons on hand for that purpose, since I have yet to come across a cleaning kit.
If I had to guess, I'd say maybe the roof of the detention building to my right. Although the shadow doesn't really line up with that, so that's just a guess. Could also have somehow gotten on top of the gate/fence, I suppose.
@@FlailyMcFlailersonNo. They seem to take whatever crap you give them. I had a bunch of duct tape averaging 5% with 2-5 uses. Took them all. I think they need to make the requests for say Duct tape @ >50% with min 15 uses. Something like that. I have a cabinet at base with all kinds of useless junk I’m saving for the quests.😊

sell stuff at the trader then convert your funds to gold at the bank. That way when there's an update you will keep the gold even though you lose everything else.
I need to buy a better bank card to buy gold, right? I've never messed with gold since I don't use the traders much, but I may have to start doing that. Do the traders deal in gold, or would I have to convert it back to cash/credit in order to use it?
Buying gold is the only way to carry over value after a wipe, however just be aware that you lose ~40% value when you do that. Ie: I bought gold and paid $1150 per $1000 bar. When I sold it back after the wipe I got $750 per bar. The Bank takes $400 in that transaction for a $1000 bar of gold. ($ may not be exact, I’m working from Swiss cheese memory here😵💫)
I wasn't aware there was a garage. I've only been to the prison a couple times, and I usually just hit the armory. I'll head back in and check the garage before leaving.
But if I don't go inside, my brain doesn't put 2 and 2 together, and it just thinks, "Oh, another door. It probably goes somewhere. I'll look into it later, if I remember, which I probably won't, but that's Future Me's problem. I've got stuff to get distracted by right now!"
Would you make more money selling one perfect condition weapon, or 2 "medium" condition weapons? I may have to test that. I'm trying to decide if it's worth sacrificing toolkit uses, as well as the second weapon, just to sell one perfect condition weapon, or if it would be better to save the toolbox for other uses, and sell 2 "OK" weapons. You'd lose both weapons either way, but one way you'd also lose toolbox uses or cleaning kit uses.

It will. John put the rail, scope, and oil filter suppressor on it in multiplayer.
You can take bobby pins out of a box and make lock picks. Then... You can make bundles of premade lockpicks that take up less space in your inventory.

John mentioned that as well. I was confused as to why I was only able to take on one at a time. I'll have to look for that setting.
31:35 turn DFAO off in graphics settings
Thanks Hunter-NG. That stuff is really bad in all my WWII bunkers. I knew there was a way to turn it off but didn’t know how.

Soap is often found in trash
Does it have to be good condition/full-ish uses for it to count for the quest? Trash doesn't usually yield good quality stuff...
@@FlailyMcFlailerson They just want soap. condition is not specified
