I like your optimistic, positive, and calm attitude. No matter which country you are in, my mood will get better after watching you! Thanks a lot for sharing, really super great job! 👍🤩🙌
As a Kuwaiti this video makes me proud till crying 🥹 and what a great message in the end of the video ❤thank you to show the world how Kuwait is so beautiful as we see it ❤ thank you for everything hope you back soon 🇰🇼❤️🇰🇼❤️🇰🇼❤️🇰🇼
Hi, I lived in kuwait untill my primary school, in 2015, I came back to my home country. I'm Indian.. kuwait is my 2nd home country ❤ can you share your insta id, want to know more and connected with kuwait. Really missing kuwait
This is an awesome video, i liked how true you represented your experience from the places you visited, prices, people… etc., as for littering my heartache when i see it after people hangout. Fortunately, Kuwait published EPA (Environmental Public Authority) in the late 1990s and is also developing its environmental laws to keep up with the fast urbanization and all the pollution that comes with city life. So, after the camping season is over(March), campaigns are made by the EPA to clean up the desert, in addition violates camps that harm the desert habitat since all these temporary camps are authorized by the municipality and paid insurance to the country. Thanks again for your true feedback and representing my country beautifully!
Hello there! I’m super glad you enjoyed Kuwait, first of all I’m happy about your thoughts on us. And to talk about the two negatives at the end of the video I first have to say thanks for stating them, we need people to know about these problems and actively try to stop it. Secondly, while we don’t have a lot of green power we are working on it, the government is building the Shegayah green power plan in southern Kuwait which has a solar farm, wind turbines, and other green methods to create electricity. Thirdly, the pollution is a horrible thing that we Kuwaitis are also actively trying to tone down on, the government also added more environmentally friendly laws on industries and all that but still we need more work. Finally the littering, that is one thing me as a Kuwaiti have been acting against this, though it’s still largely present which is a sad thing I like to think it’s getting better because of the knowledge people have nowadays. I am not trying to devalue your comments since they’re actually valid, I’m just explaining what we as a country have been doing. I think personally the green energy will be the easiest to implement and the littering the hardest to stop 😢 Anywho I hope you’ll visit soon cause I’ll be inviting you to a lot of museums!!
You video headline is wrong Kuwait mostly grew from the sea trading , in summer pearl trading and winter is trading between Africa and India because Kuwaiti where very good in building wooden large boats. I come from Kuwait and we never grew with camels. There is nothing with camels it’s beautiful animal and God best creation
"Your origins are from Persia, and you are not an indigenous inhabitant of the Arabian Peninsula! How dare you say this to the visitor! The desert and camels are an integral part of the culture of the entire Arabian Peninsula, from Kuwait to the farthest reaches of Saudi Arabia, you distorter of history and cultures."
Thank you for the beautiful video about my country, Kuwait. I hope you will visit again. What is nice about the video is that I see the tourists’ point of view and their view of Kuwait as part of Arab culture.
Thank you for this video Viking, i just discovered your channel, i guess i have plenty of time to enjoy your previous videos, i like your style, lovely couple, cheers from Tunisia
سبحان الله عندما دخلوا المسجد .. سمعنا الاية الكريمة .. الذين اتخذوا من دون الله اولياء .. صدق الله العظيم .. اتمني الهداية لهم .. ومرحبا بالجميع في الكويت
I loved seeing my country through your eyes. Many of us Kuwaitis are not happy about the camping mess and the garbage that campers leave behind, and the damage the people/lack of policies do to the environment but we don’t know that there’s anything to be done. Because the majority of the people act this way..the country population changed after 1990 specifically, Kuwaitis used to be much more civil before the 1990 Iraqi invasion and we’re still living the aftermath of that 30+ years later.
Another interesting video guys. As you are in the Gulf I do TOTALLY recommend Oman. I visited solo a few years ago, just birdwatching. I thoroughly enjoyed it, super friendly people of course, Arabs and south Asians, great landscapes and no skyscrapers. Oman has stayed low level and retained more of its traditions than elsewhere in the Gulf. Plus you can legally camp anywhere in the desert and mountains or along the coast.
Al Hamra Towers. I watch couple of movies in Al Firdous and Al Hamra Cinemas during mid 1990s. After that ate at Mughal Mahal, located behind the cinemas. Times have changed in Q8.
Nice 👍 You should visit the kuwaities dewania , you will see the real generosity and will fell that you know them for a long time Where is to many beautiful places to visit too in kuwait 🇰🇼 Thank you for the Video you made about my Country 👍
Very good caverage , welcome to kuwait ❤🇰🇼.. please note that any mistake you see in my country like waste in the desert .. its cuz there foreigners 3 time more than us live in my country from different places. We wish both all best 🙏
I would like to work in Kuwait I have heard so much about it. I heard Kuwait is family oriented and a very nice place for a foodie like myself lol.. See you soon Kuwait
@joe you actually have a very distinctive look you could model so do not sell youselve short as having influencer potential and @Liisu you are so sweet and always look quietly amused!!!
Solar energy is not practical for an oil rich Middle Eastern country - far more expensive and the solar panels get sand on them constantly making it very difficult to implement.
Kuwait has plenty of oil and cheap with low sulphur in it , extremely rich , but they don’t keep investment in their country , they have many big refineries in oman and African countries
Love you kids! It was so sad to see the trash left behind by your fellow campers. I thought only Americans could be so uncaring and self-absorbed. Safe travels. ❤
Ugh, the trash is terrible but Kuwait is not alone eh! People simply have no respect for the environment they are enjoying! UK, EU, North Africa, all the same, crap everywhere! As a campervaner, prefering to camp in remote places, the trash is everywhere 😞 Most places we can easily collect two or three sacks full of garbage! People, you took it there, take it home with you and dispose of it properly!
I was working there in 1991 - 1992, just after the war. I met many TCNs and OFWs who were brutality treated and abused by both male and female Kuwaitis. I also found Kuwaitis to be impolite and arrogant. As for prices, in 1991, I paid £12.50 for a pot of tea and 2 pieces of cake, the equivalent of £33.63 in 2024.
