- After a ton of speculation and anticipation from countless fans across the globe, Hogwarts Legacy has finally been released to a great critical and commercial reception. Fans are having a great time with this adventure while newcomers are getting a first taste of this magical world in the best way possible. Hogwarts Legacy has a lot going for it, ranging from the art direction to the story and of course, the combat loop.
The game features a ton of options when it comes to defeating enemies in the form of different spell casts. These spells can serve a variety of functions including but not limited to elemental damage, crowd control, and the like. You can combine these spells for some amazing results, and to that end we present 12 of the best spell combos in Hogwarts Legacy that you need to try out right now.
Diffindo+ glacius. It’s simple, and takes out like 2/3 the health of a loyalist by far my favorite combo

1. Accio+ to bring in a group.
2. Incendio+ to burn them all. Incendio has more base damage than Confringo.
3. Glacius to freeze your primary target
4. Diffindo to cause shatter damage to your primary target
Use Basic Cast Mastery to reduce your spell cooldowns or drink a Focus potion to be ready to do it again almost immediately.
Another absolutely insane combo is Crucio + Avada Kedavra. If you have crucio and avada kedavra mastery you can spread curses through multiple enemies and then use avada kedavra to kill them all instantly

just focus on curse skill tree with spread damage and marking, curse mark every opponent and throw a Avada Kedavra. they all will explode :)

@@rdc6395 In the movies they sometimes do, and by proper latin pronounciation, "cc" is pronounced like "kc", so Accio technically should be "Aktseeoh"

I like using levioso descendo followed by a depulso spell. It does a good amount of damage

Why would you use Accio to bring an enemy close, then follow it up with Confringo (a long range spell)?
One of the best combos is Glacio followed by Diffindo.

Accio with Incendio is a combination i always use. And don't get me started on my Dark Arts spell combinations lol. House Slytherin all day.
I like take combo for a few things but it doesn't work with big targets you can't use Accio or Levioso in targets like Trolls.
Like on paper the combo looks okay but in real combat on hard mode it s practicaly useless cos Incendio have so little range even with aoe talent that either u need to imiblize most enemies to even considerin to use it of it s just whiff of a spell that does nothin more times than not.
The "combos" showed in this video are just a bunch of spells casted one after another. You learn more just by playing against the dummy inside the game, seriously.
Another thing, why the hell when you talk about "combos" with some specific spells, you open the spell menu showing RANDOM SPELLS instead of the spells that you are currently mentioning? It really makes me mad and have absolutely no sense, for the sake of Godric, do something with some logic.
There’s a respec mod on PC. There is also a weight limit mod for those who have a strong disdain for inventory management.
The only thing I don't like about the game is the restrictive gear system

so true! i mean for fuck sake content creator please pronounce the spells properly ...there are people who are new to the game who will be wondering what the hell u are talkin about....our characters even pronounce it properly as "ack-ee ohhh" in the game. no excuse whatsoever
Accio, Incendio, Depulso, Decendo. Slam dunks most npc's in one go.
I've been having fun with transformation, then you cast Accio which becomes wingardium leviosa then you float the barrel right up in the air and release and it's a one shot kill.
you're better off just throwing the barrel at someone else kill 2 ppl with one spell

@@Whisperfall yes with the explosive barrel talent once you transform them into the explosive barrel throw the barrel at another enemy but if you prefer the fall damage that's fine lol play to your preference

Very useful guide, if only the game has a higher difficulty to fully enjoy all of these combo extensively. I have to cap my offense and defense number to keep the combat more engaging. If anything, I want to cast cool combo without worrying 1 or 2 shot my targets.

Does anybody kno what the max number is for your offense and defense I just hit lvl 40 and I’m in the mid 400s for both wondering how much higher it can go

Depend on difficulty, you do way less in dificult compared to story mode

@@nash6055 correct you do less damage the higher difficulty you go but your offensive and defensive numbers max out at 450 (apparently) regardless of difficulty

ROFL, u used so many criticaly missinformations in first 30s of video that I was amazed. :D The release at least on PC was so buggy and to this day there are many bugs that needs to be addressed to even make story progressible. Like when u get locked out in quest u cant progress and it s stroy quest then I guess it s not really good for devs. Only way for now to progress the quest is usin third party mods that repairs parts of the quest that are not workin correctly. And to this day there are many bugs that needs fixes which are not in the game yet. Like infinite lightnin bugs. Insanely large FPS drops on high end computers where for no reason in open world u drop like 40fps just standin in open field for no reason adn so on. So yeah the game in main is great when it s workin properly. When not it s nightmare to even try to do anythin cos lags, graphic glitches and bugs that almost blinds u are present it s hard to rate this game with high ranks. I get back to the game after months of awaited patches and to this game there are some bugs that were in the game when I first bought it. So yeah just wanna point out that some superficial things u said are good to be addressed. Some high end computers cant even run the game for longer than 10 minutes without constantly crashin or restarting pc´s.
