Parking is pretty tough. City parks don't usually let you park overnight from what I've seen. Also, there are a lot of people you don't want to be around who are in city parks at night. Not very safe, imo. And, yes, I've driven cross country and slept in my vehicle, so that's been my experience.
Ask Scott for people like my mom who travels & stays at hotels, but doesn't drive (takes taxis/Uber/Lyft). However would like to experience "van life/RV" life for a weekend. Would he consider buying or renting a lot or piece land for people like my mom to just stay stationary while visiting someplace? Kinda like a Harvest Host or Crackle Barrel type place maybe that will allow someone to park & stay for a few days? Just a thought, maybe the logistics would be too expensive or complicated.
How about having theme campers, you can have a honeymoon suite, log cabin or a safari theme . I wonder if you had people in certain areas where renters can drop the van off at someone’s house and the couple can drive the van back to your location and you pay them
I didn't understand your comment until I looked at booking and only locations are west coast. ...I agree (Understand they are working on building the business of) need something on east coast so you don't have to drive back to west coast. ;) I understand you probably aren't going to open a location here in NE Wisconsin... it's not a high destination request huh? Lol
Nice job Jarrod. good to see you back on the road again! Great plug for this guy and well deserved! a lot of hard work gone into his business!! Hope he does well!
The wife and I have been researching what we would want in a Van conversion for our VanLife for about a year now. We're at the point where we want to experience van life for a week or so; this is the ultimate way to experience van life! Jarrod, thanks for exposing me to Cabana.Life!
Isn't this a fantastic idea! And, I wish one of the 6 new locations was in Canada so I can do the same! Or at the very least NY so I can drive into Toronto!
Jarrod love your videos. AAND.. please mic people up. I know it’s an extra step and awkward and cumbersome but it’s going to improve the connection people have with the interviews. And viewers upvote this if you agree so that he can see it.
Fabulous idea.! I do feel after you get going, I think you should make a bigger van though. I made a campervan with a 73 Econoline 200 Ford van. Has a fold out queen bed with a shower toilet sink. It has a stove with an oven a microwave oven, 40 gal fresh water 40 gal grey tank. Nice job
What a great idea he has developed into a business. Man, if you could only do this to Disneyland etc. You always bring out good information and how to follow up with the individual or business. Good job.
What a great way to experience van life without any hassle. I’ll be checking Cabana out someday as I live about an hour from Seattle. As always, love the videos!
Just see n this video. This man is a genius. What a great idea, specially for those not to sure going into vanlife. Love your video’s Jarrod, I’m doing my best in catching up on them.
This guy is brilliant and a very smart entrepreneur. I’ve gotta try renting one of these just to experience it. His prices are actually really affordable considering you’re not just sitting in a hotel for what you paid for. You can drive your hotel and have your belongings with you. That’s huge!
Man I love this business venture. I will definitely rent one when I visit Washington. Also loving that he choose the transit for his platform. Can't wait to see your vlog if staying in one.
Needs at least a single-burner of some kind inside. Otherwise stealth goes out the window, bugs can get in everywhere, and bad weather can make it miserable.
This idea is the future! Imagine getting off a flight and picking this up at the airport! Great ideas here! You will go very far! KEEP SPREADING YOUR LIGHT!
My wife and I just rented a cabana for 2 weeks just recently for our honeymoon in October. Washington to very northern California for the redwoods and then back. We loved everything about the van. We didn't want to leave it
Since this video there are more and more companies doing things like this. However this style is the only I’ve seen trying to make it feel more “hotel”
Very cool! Now you just need to add float homes to the mix. I'm a full time single van-lifer who managed hotels and other tourism businesses, (even the American ferry between Seattle and Vic), for 30 years and I absolutely love this business concept! It would be a dream to package and market it! Thank you for sharing💗🚙
This summer I rented a Corolla for 2 days to drive from San Francisco to San Diego, stopping along the way and slept in the car. It was a great trip but the rental along was over $1,000😢 with this van I would have loved to spend that money. Lots of time gets consumed with driving so one way trips have to be a must for these type of experiences to maximize our time and see more😌 I'll be looking at this for my next trip🤩
Great Idea! the only things I would add, are bug screens, one at the back from the roof to the bed platform. So if you want to cook you are not letting in all the mosquitoes. One at the side door as well. I love the closet setup.
Beautiful Cabana Van if I lived closer I would definitely rent one from you. One improvement if possible to make would be in your Kitchen area. I love that you pull out your kitchen and its 5ft long. I saw behind the kitchen pull out were shelves. Maybe some how they would be able to pull out along with the kitchen for more kitchen tools like plates cups silverware spices your coffee pot and some food. when I retire in a few years will definitely rent one from you.
Cabana was a pretty high end motorhome coach builder from Oregon in the 70's using a dodge platform. I've got a 1972. Not surprisingly it is nothing like these cabanas, lol.
Like I really like this idea especially like in times of this like pandeic. I think like it will really like catch on. Thanks for like sharing the video.
One small detail I noticed. A fixed spay nozzle on the tap (Faucet) will give the impression of more water with less flow. (Fitted them at home and turned down the flow by 20% but it seems better)
Seems like a timely business idea. And very handy for places that are crammed with tourists during vacation seasons and therefore have zero vacancies and/or extremely high nightly rates. Some places are so bad they are sold out half a year or even a year in advance, but if you can just get in a van and drive there ...
Dad use to be a Bricklayer/site guard in Northern Canada Example : He would have a job to build a factory Or new prison During the day hours He would get a pay check as a bricklayer At night once in a while have to walk the grounds He lived in a van 1 to 2 months with a single plug in for heat Or A/C Run a hot plate etc But only 1 at a time (fuse) Showers at a motel miles away on weekends. Thankfully before going food shopping Even done a car wash shower once or twice lol I wish he could of seen the Vans today 35 years later
What a great idea! I just spent 8 nights in a not very clean supposedly “nice” hotel. I missed my 34’ RV the entire time! Can I buy one of these? I like the small size and flexibility!
IF IT CAME WITH A KING JAMES BIBLE ... I'D ORDER ONE IN A NEW YORK MINUTE ... SMART GREAT THINKING ... I LOVE THE ABILITY TO REQUEST THOSE PERSONAL ITEMS ... GREAT PLANNING ....

A back awning to weather-proof the kitchen & all the boxes would be ticked. Good interview brutha
I like that idea too!! Hope they see this comment
My thought exactly. I am in UK. Lucky if we have a run of dry weather.
Great to help beat the heat(somewhat) too.
My first thought when he rolled out the kitchen was that it needed some kind of weather protection. Otherwise, a very livable van. I like it a lot
One-way trips? What a great question and amazing idea for those that want to see the country or simply hate flying.
I didn't understand your comment until I looked at booking and only locations are west coast. ...I agree (Understand they are working on building the business of) need something on east coast so you don't have to drive back to west coast. ;)

As soon as the border opens ..here comes a Canadian tourist to rent that badboy!!( the van)
Isn't this a fantastic idea! And, I wish one of the 6 new locations was in Canada so I can do the same! Or at the very least NY so I can drive into Toronto!
Don’t blame you but your PM is bat crap cray! NWIH would I come to Canada!
What an amazing idea! You have your transportation and hotel all wrapped into one 👍🏽
This is great for people that never been in this adventure of living in a van ,wonderful Idea.
Jarrod love your videos. AAND.. please mic people up. I know it’s an extra step and awkward and cumbersome but it’s going to improve the connection people have with the interviews. And viewers upvote this if you agree so that he can see it.
Need a wireless mic for your subjects. Would be nice to hear what they say.
I have a wireless mic and I've even used it. But every time I do I get comments that they can't hear me 🤦🏻♂️ so I guess I'll just mic both of us up

Very cool! Keep it up.
Not sure if anyone answered this out not, but yes, the Gideons still put Bibles in the hotels.
I like the layout and the interior design of the hotel room / cabana van.
What a great idea wonderful setup I gotta look into it . Best of both worlds.
What a great idea he has developed into a business. Man, if you could only do this to Disneyland etc. You always bring out good information and how to follow up with the individual or business. Good job.
Man cabana van is cool I would love that thing

Love the thought process behind the build - slideout trays for carry on is genius

great idea i love it. Now thats thinking and coming up with something original. Way cool .
I still have gone to hotels and seen Bibles. I think it’s an amazing idea, if they don’t want to read it it’s fine. Hod continue blessing your company
Man I love this business venture. I will definitely rent one when I visit Washington. Also loving that he choose the transit for his platform. Can't wait to see your vlog if staying in one.
Simply amazing!
This is great I would love to work for a company like this, I love that they have a concierge service, that covers all bases.... Love it !!!
You STILL bring innovative van builds to your channel. Amazing!!
I always will :)
This is a great video!
This whole concept is amazing !!
So cool, thanks for sharing!
Love it. But would still love to have the kitchen inside.

Wow. I love it.
Brilliant! Brilliant!! Very cool idea and super well thought out and completed. Something I would definitely try!

I liked the ‘hotel’ aspect of it. So clever! Take your hotel room with you wherever you want to go!
Thoroughly enjoyed this vid, and so timely as I was just thinking I would love to short term rent one to try the lifestyle out!
Love this idea and company. I have signed up!
Awesome Ideas !!

Such a smart idea!
My mind races with money making ideas that are van/bus related.
What a great idea! Just to try it for a while, I wouldn't mind a pickup in Seattle and drop off in LA
Great Idea! the only things I would add, are bug screens, one at the back from the roof to the bed platform. So if you want to cook you are not letting in all the mosquitoes. One at the side door as well. I love the closet setup.
Yup. Bugs can be INTENSE in many places. But even a little of them can be way too much.
wow wow brilliant idea
so cool! that is such a great business.
I love this guy. Genius.
Please announce your IPO date!!!!!
excellent idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Yes please! I’d love to travel in your van. Pity I stay so far away in Africa
I'm kinda excited and can't wait to rent one to take adventures! I already signed up for the mailing list and am following on Instagram!
Love it
Just Love this idea! Very interested in renting.

@@JarrodTocci My pleasure!
Great Idea
Like I really like this idea especially like in times of this like pandeic.

Some Hotels still have Gideon Bible and I love that think travelers can always be comforted by Gods word love that you want to include that

Wow ! Excellent vlog . Thank you. Thumbs up is least I could do:)
Thank you 😊
Hi from Brisbane, Australia.
Seems like a timely business idea. And very handy for places that are crammed with tourists during vacation seasons and therefore have zero vacancies and/or extremely high nightly rates. Some places are so bad they are sold out half a year or even a year in advance, but if you can just get in a van and drive there ...
Please offer this in the state of Maryland I would totally rent one of these To take to Ocean City beach please offer this on the East Coast!!!!!!!!!!
I hope to see you on the East Coast!
Camper-van hire with the trimmings, looks nice
this build os sick
When they plan your trip do they provide ideas for overnight parking?
Dad use to be a Bricklayer/site guard in Northern Canada Example : He would have a job to build a factory Or new prison During the day hours He would get a pay check as a bricklayer At night once in a while have to walk the grounds
He lived in a van 1 to 2 months with a single plug in for heat Or A/C Run a hot plate etc But only 1 at a time (fuse)
Showers at a motel miles away on weekends. Thankfully before going food shopping
Even done a car wash shower once or twice lol I wish he could of seen the Vans today 35 years later
What a great idea! I just spent 8 nights in a not very clean supposedly “nice” hotel. I missed my 34’ RV the entire time! Can I buy one of these? I like the small size and flexibility!
Add bike racks and stuff to carry/store toys...? love it
Bike rack would be a great idea!
When I think about it any decent hotel is over 200 a night so these Vans are a pretty good deal
Awesome
I can go somewhere and
Rent and enjoy.......👍
Can use this pattern with some waterproofing for kitchen and can be set for long term living in comfort.
Any plans for the Northeast?
Good idea , gonna need service hubs nearby to maximize rental exploration
IF IT CAME WITH A KING JAMES BIBLE ... I'D ORDER ONE IN A NEW YORK MINUTE ... SMART GREAT THINKING ...
I LOVE THE ABILITY TO REQUEST THOSE PERSONAL ITEMS ... GREAT PLANNING ....
You’re going to have Cabana everywhere you would want one eventually. So maybe you should partner with McDonald’s!! 🤣🤣🤣
Apologies that is a British sense of humour.
Love the van.
I’m completely broke but soon as I started looking at Ford Transit Vans for Van lifers I immediately thought about using it as a hotel room I drive people around in. That was as far as the idea went 😂
I’m in Portugal, you can rent camper vans here, but I don’t know if they plan your trip.
WE NEED MORE Jarrod Tocci !!!
Wondering how big the fridge is. If you were going out for 4-5 days you might not be wanting to shop everyday.
So agree. I need a place for kids to sleep and larger fridge. ;)
i think a ‘roof’ for the kitchen would be nice incase it rains or whatnot so its not just for when its sunny
homie was lit, good ediing Jarrod. lol
Much thanks 🙏
Come to East Coast please!!
Great concept and business but where is the bar fridge? 😁
Let’s go to my suite , baby, it’s not far 🤣
amazing it wasn't raining in Seattle. Not so sure about that outdoor kitchen in the Pacific Northwest.
Got very lucky
Is there a Fridge?
Beekman products....YES!!!
What air condition?
These Aussies will be coming one day but can you book some paid music gigs as part of the tour so we can pay you and more than 5 days. 😀👍
I am in tacoma would love to meet up sometime and do an interview for my channel
Where do I invest?
Needs some folding chairs in the garage for hanging out in the kitchen area.
