Thank you so much! Bike rack for 4 bikes on the tow bar ist the main reason!
Interesting - and if you get a puncture you are not worried as you can continue your journey by bike !
Hi guys, thanks for all the uploads. This is probably the best Land Rover channel ever! Would be awesome to see you build a Land Rover 101. ✌🏼🇿🇦
thank you very much!!! Thanks to your advice, I have understood a lot! And extended the service life of his RANGE ROVER.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!
great content, informative as usual. Thank you.
you are welcome !
Great video Simon and even a link 😉
Lovely job 🚗🚙🚘👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Think the Alloy ones better (plus who'd of thought that making metal sheets was cheaper than plastic!!!) and having the exposed bolt heads doesn't diminish the overall look of the back door. Great idea!!!
Simon -
I was wondering if there is some "fake" spare tire/tyre cover that could house gear instead of an actual spare. My off roading is focused on snow and sand. Never had a flat and so a can of Fix-a-flat would work in almost all situations. Might even mount the spare on the roof carrier since I dont need the access to be too easy. Or do you plan to come up with another shaped gear carrier for where the spare was?
Boom Boom!! 💥
Hi! Which tyres would you suggest for me to drive on snow/ice? I have a Defender with 18'' wheels and I found out there are few brands selling tyres with such measures. Do you know if does exist a tyre good for both snow and off-road? Thank you.
I would like to know how to change evaporator for 2011 lr2 without removing the front dash board ,can you please advise
My suggestion is to add a Diamond Plate as an option to those body color matched peace's. So that you have another option to choose from in a more rugged off-road look. With the Diamond Plate as an option it would look great with the bolt & screw heads exposed.
I think the plastic ones look better but, what do you do with the spare wheel? Bonnet mount like the original defenders?
Bonnet mount would look super cool but I suspect that the bonnet would require significant internal strengthening. A fun project!
Also, personally I wouldn’t like to venture out minus a spare wheel.
So what do you do when you get a puncture in the middle of nowhere?
A thought occurred to me as watching. I wonder if it would be possible to affix the bicycle carrier attachment bars as commonly seen on the rear of caravans and motorhomes to the rear door. Alternatively, attaching two airline rails (like they have on the rear sides of the Ineos Grenadier) to allow for putting on attachments.
🔥🇬🇧
These spare wheel deletion panels are never in stock? Does that mean you no longer make them?
Good idea, but prefer the ones without the bolt showing, needs mod to stop water ingress though. ✅✅✅👍👍👍👍
I just wanted to show both types... its a balance between price / water ingress / looks etc
@@L663 Wouldn't some fairly easily removable caulking work well?
And what happens if water gets in between the trunk lid and the cover?
Also with the rear wing the fuel economy is just fine without the spare
First 😊
One reason you might want to do this is that the spare wheel gets in the way of a tow-bar fitted bike carrier.
Once one does the body kit and wheels etc on the v8 90 it's just a natural...like a brabus g63
Perhaps rotopax or jerrycan carrier instead.
Simon controversy about wheel sensors being broken putting you in to limp mode and possible lowering suspension. See 4xovelands recent videos. Could you pull a wheel sensor connection and see what it does. Some people are saying you c an use odb tools to raise suspension and take you out of limp mode. Could you do a video on this??
Just watched the video - this seems worth a go... what can go wrong ?
Hi Mark - I did the video on this today.....will try and publish the video tonight..
@@L663 wow fab look forward to it
@@markrigby9588 its uploading now - your comment is in the video !
@@L663 thanks Simon 😊

Hi Mr Virdi.... sorry no L405 content for a long time...
@@L663 I am still awaiting rear led strip light for L405 and please let us know about led door 🚪 light 💡 upgrade.
Many Thanks 🙏
looking at those blanking plates with large / heavy duty bolts .. i can't help seeing attachment points for stuff ( thinking bike carrier , or cargo tracking ?? )
aah , reading the comments , seems like other people have the same ideas
Please find solutions for the annoying start/stop please please
I have done that video - its a feature called "selective start stop"
Too late for me, I’ve spent the last 3 weeks extending my drive to get the 110 in, 😂 my 90 was no problem.

I think you just beat Robert..🏆
The second option looks like nothing was ‘blanked’! I’d be doing the non-bolt option. 👍🏻🙏🦘
The Aluminium version needs an anti-theft modification to stop low-lifes from unscrewing the bolts and walking off with your blanking plates……..
just put 3 number plates in the back lol
That would work. - but may confuse the police if they were all different !
Personally I can’t see the point of this unless you can come up with a way of putting the spare wheel on the bonnet.
Доброго здоров'я привіт з Одеси Україна.
💛 happy to hear your voice !💙
Not a fan sadly... I do know someone like this and have reasons!
The STIG is back to normal today... with spare wheel.
@@L663 Awesomeness! Did you not see my ? About how you talk to Stig! What system does yours have? Or is it that I added Alexa that I can't call 'Brutus' "Brutus"?
I don't know why this happens to me I have waiting for 11 months for the car 😭 oh god my life...
I think the cars are being delivered more quickly now
Aluminum wheels, low profile tires and a spare tire delete! What could possibly go wrong?! One good pothole and your calling the tow truck.
Mount the tire on the hood where it belongs!
With all those cameras, who needs to see out the windshield?!
Blasphemy!
