    Ordered on Sunday and arrived today (Tuesday) look forward to fitting. First thing I have to say is how well packaged it is and using environmentally friendly packaging - nice work 👍

      We were talking about this in the office - it does feel like its a present ! We have now moved to nearly all paper / card packaging ( in house ) now and also trying to use more UK manufacturing - the table and brackets are made within 15 miles of our warehouse ! That and our 50KW solar and company Tesla we are trying to do our bit.

    I found this video really useful - I received my picnic table from PowerfulUK yesterday, and fitted it within an hour. Really nicely made and fits perfectly. A great addition to my Land Rover Camper.

    Delivery arrived yesterday, installed today and it was a quick and easy fit. It is neat and practical. Very happy with it. Also installed the rubber mat and loadspace net. No more bags sliding around the back and I can use the extra loadspace height for carrying more for roadtrips. It has all come together very pleasingly.

    Would be an idea to put holes in the D4 mollie plates to match your table so they could be mounted on the side, as most D4 roof tents open over the side (due to the tail gate), so we can cook under the tent over hang.

    Nice tidy job boys, am considering swapping my jeep one out for your new version. My on,y problem is that the knurled knob at the top on the left, on my car, the thread is buggered so will have to get that sorted first.

  • @stevebaldya

    I still prefer the uncluttered look of my jeep table and I used your fitting kit. However, the use of metal hinges 'staves?' is a big improvement over the silly wires. Any chance we could buy those separately? I get the feeling you've opened a whole can of worms with this mod !!!

    • @L663
      @L663  2 года назад

      Yes this was going to happen... let me see what i can do... should work but they way the straps work is you need to be pretty spot on where you drill the hole in the side of the table ! Send an email to customer service and i will sort something out but I may have to order a couple of extra sets as we only have the straps to suit the number of tables we have !

    Very nice and well executed design. I’ve seen Jeep versions that use simple magnets to hold up the table - would those not work on your design for some reason?

    • @L663
      @L663  2 года назад

      Our table is aluminium to make it nice and light so its not magnetic and the fixing are stainless also not magnetic but magnets could be bonded onto the tray etc.

  • @joncollett4631

    Love this table but not sure I need a table full of holes the smaller ones ok but I don't think we need the cup holders, the vehicle is going to be stationary the cup can just stand anywhere on the table, stuff is just going to fall though onto the grass underneath! When the cup holders disappear I'll be getting one. Maybe you could offer a blank one too.

    • @L663
      @L663  2 года назад +2

      Hi Jon - fair comment - we need to be challenged - how about we do a thin semi rigid non slip liner ? plywood liner ? MDF liner etc we could cut on the laser so it was a snug and perfect fit. Or maybe we could make the cup holders held in with tabs like on electrical back boxes that you could punch out if you wanted....

    • @HQBProductions
      @HQBProductions 2 года назад

      @@L663 How about supplying two plastic push in blanks that you could fit in the cup holder holes and choose one, two or no cup holders with the ability to change your mind any time! 🧐🙂🙂😀
      Another point..the knurled nut retainers at the top, could those be two 90 degree turn cam locks so making them faster and less likely to get dropped and lost? You just make a cut out in the tray for the handle (?) to pass through then turn downwards to give a one movement lock. Considerations are..rattles..enough clearance, over centre or sprung locking action….over to your designers!! 🤭🧐🧐😃😃😃😃

    • @L663

      This is interesting problem - does the screen show the door is still open ? you could try disconnecting and re-connecting the battery -ve ( under the seat ) this will reset the BCM ( body control module ). Other things could be poor connection in the door electrical connector / failed door module.
