Her entire argument is based upon a hypothetical so specific that it warrants us to wonder whether it is indeed a hypothetical or rather an autobiographical account of the one putting it forward.
And in response to a video so contextually lacking too. This is like reading a comment by someone saying they stole candy as a kid and writing a highly detailed essay to them about how they're bound to live a life of crime and despair.
Not just that. We can just as easily propose an hypothetic in which the woman ends up with a faithful and loving husband. Hell, i can give my parent's example as anecdotal evidence, which is better than an hypothetic.
I don't know any women who are jealous of younger ones, so your point is moot. There are many different facets of feminism as there are feminists and while Mr. Wilson has to focus on SOMEONE to get his point across, believing that all feminists think this way is ridiculous. Most of us do not care if women get married and are SAHM's so long as not ALL women are expected to want that for themselves. I couldn't agree with you more. I'm getting really sick and tired of people demanding absolutely perfect lives and then freaking out when one tiny thing goes wrong. It's one thing to live a genuine life of hardship. It's another thing to complain and whine constantly because your steak was cooked medium instead of medium rare, and take it out on the world. I find it incredibly interesting that feminists will tell women that the way to be a strong, fierce, independent, powerful woman is to submit to her boss rather than to her husband.
