I was kind of pressed at our first cadaver lab that I was told I "suture gently like a lady" so now I'm learning how to suture like it's resuscitative thoracotomy in progress 😂
Thanks for this! Now ill save tons of money on dr bills after my underground knife fighting tournaments! Unfortunately I cant afford whatever you're using so ill be doing this with yarn and crochet hooks! I cant wait!
So I tried this on my husband's thumb and I couldn't pierce through the skin. It felt like the needle was too large so I put butterfly stitches on it and sent him off to a professional.... What was I doing wrong? It was a sterilised suture kit but I was using tweezers to hold the needle. Should I have been using a different tool? We live rural so it is likely that one of us will need stitches again some time and with such a long drive we would like to be able to mend it ourselves as best as possible before driving to the hospital.
Hi please when you made the suture tight the not at the side of the suture line not on the top. My name is Andres and I’m specialist in sutures from Dominican Republic in other words an old doctor. From the old school.
Had a deep cut in my finger right on the crease seperating my distal and middle phalanx. It needed a stitch. Doc asked me if I wanted some anesthetics, to which I replied with no. Worst mistake of my life lol
How come some instructional videos show going straight through both sides like yours and others go through one side at a time well grabbing the side of the wound with the pliers. It looks incredibly painful and or destructive or not entirely realistic in a real life scenario. Going through both sides at once like in this video seems to make a lot more sense when dealing with a real wound and not a synthetic imitation…
That fake skin looks like the fake skin I use for tattooing, if I cut the fake skin i have could I practice with that or do I need to order the special stuff like you have
Teach thoracic surgeons to suture this way. I mean, I know I was born with a heart defect, but does everyone who sees me in a swimsuit need to know it too? 😆
Thank you! I was able to have a successful operation because of this!
Hey wait a minute
Wait what
Huh-?
😂😂
😂😂😂😂
This is amazing. I’m watching my surgeon watch this video right before my surgery. Wish me luck guys!
@EviemaiWhear What? I need an explanation 😭
@@pixelzebra8440 Lol fr

Lol if he needed some last min practice right before the procedure than you might wanna keep one eye open.
Hey, how about vascular sutures next? I'm bleeding out of my common hepatic artery and I could use a tutorial. Thanks!
Just hang on a bit longer...

I have a suture pad of my own and I love it I hope to be as good as you one day I can’t wait to go to med school and be a surgeon
I can't wait for Plastic Surgery DIY! Now I can be my favorite kpop idol Kim after I learn the basics of plastic surgery!
Yo-
Bruh
Watching this with my patient with a 4x3 laceration on his forearm. He approves.
Are you my doctor 🤨🤨 😭
Nah I’m just kidding but I’m sure you did a great job
Im watching this atm of my operation.
I was taught that the knot shouldn't be directly on the incision, it might create some complications
there are some beautiful knots made on the side (if I am not mistaken, the Donatti knot), but it's up to you
I agree the knot should be a little distal to the incision, but on the suture it might create some complications.
How would you suture the peritoneum? Currently operating on an inguinal hernia and am having trouble closing
does it matter wether I use polypropylene monofilament or nylon monofilament?
Thank you. Everyone should have these skills.
To suture like plastic surgeon you should use single tooth forceps. You also should use square knot technique. Also make single wrap for your knot.
How can you make sure you exit at the same distance from the wound as on the other side??
Your palming technique is spot on, keep up bro
These comments are concerning

I've seen this several times and it's going to take several more.. 😬😆
What was different in this video like others that makes plastic surgeon differ from other surgeom

We don't recommend anyone without medical training to do any suturing of human lacerations.
ye skin jaise h uska name kya hai sir
It's very soft. Skin is hard
Can anyone tell me.....BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)students can do surgery like this....
Hi please when you made the suture tight the not at the side of the suture line not on the top. My name is Andres and I’m specialist in sutures from Dominican Republic in other words an old doctor. From the old school.
the knot should be at a side to the incision line not over it
They are different types of suture and stuff.. different part of body have different techniques and material....
When i grow up i want to be a great surgeon
How do you suture if you are LEFT HANDED ?!
Clockwise anti clockwise and clockwise again or vice versa!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤THANK YOU FOR SHARING MALKE ASAAD❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was curious after watching Ellie from the TLOU 2 suture up a gash on your arm with one hand.
Ah yes, pretty useful videos, because i missed my suture class in vet school :)
Its basically exactly the same as stitching a leather wallet ☠️
frfr
Leather is a processed skin, so it makes sense
Why don’t you make an invisible stitch Doctor?
Had a deep cut in my finger right on the crease seperating my distal and middle phalanx. It needed a stitch. Doc asked me if I wanted some anesthetics, to which I replied with no. Worst mistake of my life lol
What is the name the thing you use as human
This is really gonna help me out in the apocalypse
So many things wrong with that suture 😅 no lateral shift , no vertical to longitudinal throws . This works in the ot though so not completely off .
Cool
I'm not even biology student 😕 , Why am I being shown this? 😂
I ask them what are they watching during my operation and they airdrop me the link
Why are all the doctors and medics stuff popping in my shorts 😭
Family member really be pushing I should be a doctor
First year med student are capable of doing that

Hey not bad, those fancy loop moves ain't looking so fancy anymore!
I am not a doctor but thanks.
Lmfaoooo this is how to suture like a novice... not a plastic surgeon. Simple interrupted...perfect for the student.
That fake skin looks like the fake skin I use for tattooing, if I cut the fake skin i have could I practice with that or do I need to order the special stuff like you have
Well now I know the word because my pet rat had to have his ear sutured because that mf made a blood vessel in his ear rupture
You got open wound
Get rush to operation table
See the doctor
He whip out his phone
You hear this guy voice in his phone
I think your knot was on incision which donot follow the principle of suturing.
I am not sure who decides what are the "principles of suturing" are. There are multiple ways to do the same thing
Now I'm John Wick
So this is how they sewed my head back together
Subscribed :)
❤
Im hoping plastic surgeons dont see this
5minutes till the op and im trying to memorise how to hold instruments
I rather use superglue.
Don't worry, I learned how to do this on RUclips. From a surgeon.
Teach thoracic surgeons to suture this way. I mean, I know I was born with a heart defect, but does everyone who sees me in a swimsuit need to know it too? 😆
Who doesn't do it that way?
Instructions not clear. Bleeding out.
It's supinate
This is the most basic suture ever even students can do this it is not really a plastic surgery suture
I’m a doctor I’m just not practicing
Plastic surgeons would do dermal sutures and tie one hand knots…
Kippis
But dermatologists uses subcutaneous method!
We have other videos about that
Those who thought it was a hair on phone 😅
I'm sorry I think it's a hair sorry if it's wrong 😢
Guys I became a doctor 😅
Simple interrupted suturing
Degree ❌
Degee ✅
plastic surgeons do the intradermal suture ! not simple suture :)

Juu mut onnistuuko saksilla

That’s not like a plastic Surgeon. That’s like any General Practitioner and nurses.

First step: get a corpse -
No way this is a plastic surgeon 😂😂
I can do better with my feet
