Can I just say.. I love how realistic you are which is so refreshing to see. And you have this way of making a healthy lifestyle and routines seem so easy and fun. AND I love your podcast!!! ❤️
i initially was going to do this all as one video the shopping and then showing you how i use the groceries to make the meals i planned for the week. BUT i decided to break it up into two separate videos :) so my full day of eating will be up later this week! CANNOT WAIT TO SHARE.
Have to say, 3 months ago I decided to eat the same meals daily. You are right, it takes so much of the stress and planning away. It makes meals super efficient and grocery shopping, 99% if my grocery weekly is the same. Now i don't need a list, its all in my head automatically. In the 3 months ive lost 10kg. Slow and easy.
I just found your channel so I’m behind on vids.. but what you’re saying is getting me! I struggle with food so much. I can plan and buy what I want to eat, then when it’s time I am not in the mood for anything! I’m struggling to hit my calorie and macros goals, and I just never know what to do lol 🤪 Workouts are a habit, a routine, I have no problems getting them done 2 days on 1 off, but the food is killer for me! Any tips? Thanks! Love you girl! Love the podcast too!
another type of person watching this: eating disorder recovery while trying to bulk! I was not offended or anything by the cereal thing, I just think it's so cool how all of our needs for "health" are so different! For example, what would be "healthy" for me would be to choose the cereal over a tuna packet and veggies because I restricted cereal for so long. I am just so intrigued by this all lol. Love the video, btw!
In love with your podcast! listening to it while I run helps me focus on the positive of why I’m even running and the topics just help distract me in a good way
Love love loved this video. My breakfast is SO similar to yours expect I use Trader Joe’s almond butter and steel cut oats 😍 also LOVE YOUR PODCAST. 10/10 what I look forward to the most in my week!
I've been watching your channel for a few months now and love you and your family so much! Please keep spreading positivity and knowledge with fitness and life!!
I did try the tuna and cucumber. It was good but I needed a little more sweetness. I really like tuna on thin apple slices! 😋 my kids like it too so big WIN WIN lol
i think the reason im not seeing results is what I eat, I eat pretty healthy but I think I have too much sweets lol so my goal is to work on eating more intuitively and not giving in to too many sweets. I also think that incorporating more veggies and fruits into my diet would be beneficial as well. wish me luck
Brittany, I've been working out consistently for 3 weeks. Majority of my workouts consist of compound exercises and strength training. I feel amazing after every workout. However, I'm struggling with how my body looks and my clothes are fitting a little tighter right now. My initial "why" for working out is to be healthy. It makes me want to stop but when I remember my why, I keep going. Can you shed some light on this? Is it normal to seem "bigger" than before I started. I appreciate any input.
yes when you start working out consistently you're gonna be holding on to a lot of water and inflammation, and so you'll be a lil more bloated. also you're gonna start building muscle! long term you will probably lose fat if you're eating around or less than maintenance but until then it might be uncomfortable. totally normal, and until then try to focus on your amazing strength progress and how much you enjoy workouts. keep at it, you're doing amazing and hope it all works out :)
@@aaryadoshi537 thank you so much for your reply! :) I appreciate your kind words. I am doing just that. I truly enjoy my workouts and love going to the gym. I’m excited for what’s to come.
Hi Brittany, thanks for such an informative video. I was currently contemplating on buying your 8 week "Let's Get This Lift" workout guide. However, I have a few questions. First is the guide beginner friendly. I am very new to strength training and lifting. I've recently had a strong desire to start; however, am unsure of where/how to start. Would you recommend this guide for me? Second, I am wanting to lose at least 10-15 pounds in the process; therefore, do you recommend starting off with strength training or should I start with more cardio first then transition to lifting. Lastly, I am currently a graduate school student so my schedule gets busy very quick. I saw where your guide is set up for workouts to be 5 days per week; however, my schedule does not permit for this. I was thinking about doing the workouts 3-4 days a week. I am aware with this method it would take more than 8 weeks; however, unfortunately with school I am unable to do more than that. Please let me know your thoughts and I look forward to hearing from you!
