    Don't mix vinegar or lemon juice and baking soda. You can mix vinegar and lemon juice, but don't mix it with baking soda. Baking soda is a very basic solution (regarding Ph levels) and vinegar and lemon juice are very acidic solutions. Combining baking soda and vinegar neutralizes each other and the combined ingredients work less effectively than they do when left by themselves.
    You might be asking, "then why does this video show them mixing together and still cleaning". Well, because the crust is now moist from the neutralized vinegar and the amount of baking soda used is doing the heavy lifting. People tend to mix them together because the chemical reaction creates a fizzing effect that looks like soapy bubbles, but this reaction is actually creating a mixture that has a Ph equivalent closer to water and doesn't really do much of anything but moisten the surface.
    Point being, baking soda and water (better yet, baking soda and diluted dish soap because dish soap is also a very basic solution) combined or vinegar and lemon juice combined will be more beneficial than doing all of the above.

      Of course, because baking soda is abrasive right.

    • @akoyehz4083

      We had a gas burner stove top before and the cleaning is so much more worse, you have to remove everything, the racks, the metal pieces it takes almost 30 minutes to clean well. This literally takes 5 - 10 minutes.. Not sure why you are complaining.

    • @akoyehz4083
      @akoyehz4083 3 года назад +2

      @notfiveo The issue with induction is they require only certain type of pots to cook with which also costs way more then regular ceramic cooktops and also the cooking pots are also not the healthiest choice long term. Its all marketing like iphone and apple, only can use certain cables and apps or you need to buy new phone altogether.

    • @kebman
      @kebman 3 года назад +1

      I've got on worse than you lol! A ceramic stove top with _digital buttons._ God, it takes forever to stand there and turn the plate to max... Knobs and screws are the way to go. No waiting.

    This worked great to get most of it off. I ended up using about 5 razor blades in my scraper because there was soo much buildup. I will be finishing it with 1200 grit wet sand sandpaper.
