Okay so. I'm a wheel player, G29 racing wheel. I've played a lot of games both on controller and on wheel, wouldn't dare use the keyboard lol. The big difference is; Motorfest is actually fun. It feels good, is super responsive and has amazing graphics even a not so great system can easily run. The map isn't a problem size wise like the braindead community says, the effort and detail they put in more than makes up for the size decrease and I've got about a weeks worth of play time in, and I still haven't explored the entire map. Now on to my original point, the car doesn't have to be the best car in Motorfest; They can all be competitive in their respective classes depending on the driver, be it wheel or controller. It feels more like they just built something to be enjoyed as opposed to "meta'd" to high hell and ultimately ruined by a sweaty community. You can even tune your cars! Manually. Like, you can tune them by changing front and rear camber for example. What other franchise gives you that, with everything else motorfest offers? It's worth the cash, I'd pick it up.
Really nice comparison between both games. I own both, I love both 😎 By the way the Lambo Urus is one of their cover cars I believe, that’s probably why they give it out

Im pumped for offline.. nothing kills immersion more than when cars are constantly disappearing in front of me due to apparent server issue. Thats my biggest gripe of online open world racers
Aside from having houses, I wish they'd put some dynamic shadows in the crew motorfest. would add more to the beauty and immersion. especially at night. jarring to see the underside of bridges look so bright/illuminated everytime.
See for me the map on motorfest could do with some work and what I mean is, 1. Scrap winning parts and add in tune up shops and body kit shops so we can spend money instead of winning parts and add homes to buy and clothe shops where you can get new gear for your avatar and aswell as buying motorbike gear. 2. One thing that I always liked the idea of? Is parking lots and other small areas on the map that you can park in and get out of your vehicle and pop the hood and boot, which also brings me too Interior designs for our vehicle..
Remember, TDUSC is a AA game, while Motorfest is a AAA game. TDUSC is £39.99, Motorfest is £69.99 when not on sale. Personally, I think KT did a good job, just needs some time to get where it's meant to be.

I mean yeah I also love the fact that Motorfest has 720 cars but when you realize that at least a hundred of them is just a different colored version of the same fucking car with the same stats it becomes less impressive. Not to mention that that variant takes up a space that could be given to an actual new car. There's no Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series but there's 7 variants of the 2010 Camaro SS. And this is a problem that they carried over all the way from fucking Crew 1
I really just want both games to allow players to get of our cars at certain spots so we can walk around the cars & communicate with players. At least at the gas stations
Dk why devs think that always online games will work, no it doesn’t! Glad their improving themselves with a step moving in the right direction Ubisoft!
I had hopes for both of these...but it just seems as the years go by...its gonna be harder for me personally to find a good arcade style racer with a decent sized map and loads of options. Sims ruined my taste for regular car games
A correction: Things slow you down a lot in the crew motorfest, and you cant"fly" they changed some physics, and in this one, you go down way faster, making it more realistic. Ppl did a comparison on this vs. forza. But if theymaxe ot to where if you hit anything you automatically slows down ppl would get annoyed a game is about fun at heart.
Man one of the things that stopped me playing motofest was the map being small compare to the big USA map. But with a new island its nice to expand. Still won't beat the USA map 😅. Hopefully they add houses I'm motofest that's was another cool feature from the crew two 😎
Nice comparrison. Also don't forget CarX Street that at a low price offers so much more than SC, specially tuning wise and also is very actively patched.
Bro the offline mode isn't here yet. All Ivory Tower did was announce that they're *"exploring different solutions"* for it. Its not in the games yet. Who knows if they will actually do it. It's not really fair to say that a game killed another game before the feature isn't implemented yet. What if the offline mode turns out to be trash? Does it still kill TDU? Though I would say Test Drive Unlimited is already dead with its trash servers, lack of cars, and daytime lighting issues.
I’ll be playing both depending on mood, I like the more grown up feel of TDU serious I’m here to win feel but I also like the fun of Motorfest that you just play with a smile on your face
I just realise now: I never bought The Crew Motorfest because of the always online thing, now it has the offline mode, and the Plymouth Road Runner is in the game, my all time favorite car, TDU SC is already aside just for that one car they don't have lol
The Offline mode will be great for those games, glad they’re doing that!! But from what I saw the offline patch will happen at the end of the Crew 2’s life which could probably sooner than later with no more updates… Then again Motorfest and TC2 are kind of together so I think it will be awhile before it goes into Offline mode 🤔
I'm still put off by the termination of the first The Crew, which was the only game in the series I owned and have lost access to after what had already happened.
I was on the fence about getting Motorfest when it came out, i wasn't very convinced considering it was also like 60 bucks, but they are actually cooking right now!! The game is also on sale on the Ps5 for just 20 bucks at the moment, so i might get!!
I've always been a fan of racing games and was really interested in TDUSC until I saw all the videos saying the online aspect is broken, the graphics aren't a major issue for me as long as I enjoy the gameplay loop I'm happy. Bought Motorfest around this time last year on Series X when it was in the sale, I don't play with others so found it a bit lacking in content unlike The Crew 2 but still go on it when new playlists are added. I'm still keen on Solar Crown but I think I'll be waiting until the price is lower especially with the forced always online aspect.
I think my main choice isn't between Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown or The Crew Motorfest since I wasn't going to buy either of them until they added offline mode but rather "Do I buy the Crew Motorfest for Playstation 4 or Steam?" I know the PS4 version of The Crew Motorfest is probably the "weakest" graphically since it's running on decade-plus old hardware (but it still looks amazing to me in gameplay videos of the PS4 version) and the advantage of playing it on Playstation 4 is that I know it's going to work right out of the case (physical media is also a plus) even if I have to download the offline patch. I have an older graphics card and it's a bit ambiguous whether The Crew Motorfest would run well on my PC (which can handle the beautiful-looking Forza Horizon 4 just fine but was struggling a bit with the Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown demo) but, on the other hand, I could probably buy a "complete" version of the game with all of the DLC during a Steam sale for less than what I'd pay for a physical copy of the base version on PS4. I'll probably also finally get The Crew 2. I am hoping to buy Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown eventually but probably not until Ibiza is added and also if/when they announce an offline patch.
@@Nobody_PlaysGames I know the offline patch for The Crew Motorfest isn't out yet but Ubisoft made a definitive announcement about it while I'm still waiting for a definitive announcement about an offline patch for TDU:SC, not that I was going to buy TDU:SC this week even with a definitive offline announcement since, for any modern game, I prefer waiting for all launch issues to be patched anyway.
Both Games have *Terminal* Content issues for me, so I am going to have to stick with Forza, as bad as it has become, because it falls *juust* short of being *Terminal* in its Content Issues, it is *very* close to *Terminal* however so PGG need to be Considerably more Cautious with FH6.
What are you talking about the cars are not easy to acquire in their you either pay real money for them or you have to grind your ass off to get them in the crew that makes no sense that they just stole cars at you there's so many people in the crew that's looking for ways to cheat so they can get cars and for you to just come and say that lets me know that either you've won just pay money for cars or two know nothing about the game
There’s still the map issue.. at least for me, map is way too small. I went around it in less than 15 mins at cruise speed. Got bored quick, good game still, I just can’t.
The lighting and test drive unlimited is horrible. The horizon is so bright. It hurts my eyes even when I try to turn down the brightness on my TV. I hope they fix it, but the crew motorfest is the absolute bomb, especially with the wheel and pedals set.
I notice something thew crew speed feeling is still not good and the roads are so wide. I didn't buy Motorfest because i have and had played FH and didn't want an other one or a copie of that. When the crew 2 gets an offline mode i cant wait to put mods innside to make the usa nice 👍
My only issue with both of these games are their bad performance on one & an fps lock on the other, because I cant use my PC to its full potential, its just not worth playing & also getting motion sick from it

And the music is so good in the crew 1 than the crew 2 and I hope Ubisoft bring back the crew 1 for offline mode too because I remember the song how you like me now by The Heavy and it’s the best song I have ever heard from the crew 1 and yes the crew 1 has traffic lights 🚦 while the crew 2 don’t have any traffic light 🚦. And in test drive you can buy a house 🏡 in test drive unlimited and test drive unlimited 2 just like in the crew 2. But the crew 1 has a story which has a character name Alex Taylor and he meets up with Zoe and he met up with Roxanne and also Vincent. The story begins with player character Alex Taylor (Troy Baker) pursued by local law enforcement near Detroit. After losing the cops, he finds a car loaned to him by his friend and father figure, Harry (Charles Parnell). Harry explains to him that Alex's older brother and the founder of the 5-10 motor club, Dayton (Travis Willingham), wants to speak to him. Dayton arrives and orders Alex to drive him to Ambassador Bridge. Once there, Dayton tells him to keep his head down. A sports car pulls up, Dayton goes and talks with the driver, but before he can get back to Alex's car, the driver shoots him and hastily drives off. Alex rushes to Dayton's side as the police arrives to arrest him. Dayton succumbs to his wound, while Alex is charged and later convicted of murder by FBI Special Agent Bill Coburn (D.C. Douglas). Five years later, Alex, now in prison, encounters FBI Agent Zoe Winters (Amy Rosoff), who informs him that he will be temporarily released if he agrees to cooperate with the FBI in exposing Coburn's corruption, and finding the truth behind Dayton's murder, which has been committed by the new leader of the 5-10s, Dennis “Shiv” Jefferson (Jason Spisak). In doing so, Alex has to infiltrate the 5-10 and climb up its hierarchy, with ranks named after V engines and Shiv being the “V8” (King V/Big Block/Big Eight). Alex has to work his way to become the “V2” (V-twin), the “V4” (Four Block/Four Banger), and the “V6” (Hard Six). After getting released from prison, Alex accepts his first mission to help the Detroit 5-10 lieutenant Troy (Joel Steingold). After doing several missions for him, Alex is sent to St. Louis to kill that city's V2. Alex and Zoe fake the V2's death, but Troy finds out that she is still alive and proceeds to kill her himself. Alex then gets a call from Herschel Craig (Johnny Hawkes), the Chicago 5-10 and Troy's rival. Craig asks Alex for help to claim territory from Troy. Alex is able to get his 5-10 ink by helping Craig recover a car smuggled from Europe. Alex is sent to New York City soon after to help a V6 and Shiv's childhood friend, Eric Tsu (Vic Chao). Alex goes to New York and is reunited with Harry, who agrees to help him. Alex gets an off-road vehicle and meets Eric, racing him and later doing missions for him. Meanwhile, Zoe and Alex are suspicious of Harry when he gets secretive. As it turns out, car shipments for the 5-10s went missing, and Harry had been behind them. It is later revealed that Harry is helping Dayton's girlfriend, Connie, and her five-year-old son, Ben, by stealing a proper escape vehicle to evade the 5-10s and get out of town after hearing about Dayton's death. Alex also has to do a delivery for a mysterious person, later revealed to be Coburn. Harry has Alex follow him with Connie and Ben in the car so they can flee the city safely. Alex gets his V2 ink and is asked to go to Miami. Alex goes to Miami and meets Alita (Cyrina Fiallo), Shiv's ex-girlfriend. After winning a race against her crew, and later Alita herself, Alex is tasked with claiming The South from Cameron “Cam” Rockport, who has been killing various 5-10s to stay in power. Coburn, using a voice scrambler, then calls Alex for help in taking down Shiv. After winning the South from Cam in a race, Alex notices Coburn's plan of killing Cam and saves him. In return for the rescue, Cam comes to support Alex after catching up on the latter's plan to take down Shiv. Afterwards, Shiv notices Alex's activities, giving him the V4 ink and sending him to Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, Alex meets Roxanne (Tonantzin Carmelo), a technology whiz whose missing sister, Daria, joined the 5-10s. After several missions, including one revealing that Daria had been killed by Shiv sometime before, Zoe finds out that Coburn is selling impounded contraband. She then orders Alex to travel to Death Valley to collect evidence against Coburn. After collecting sufficient evidence, Coburn eventually shows up. Alex proceeds to chase Coburn across Las Vegas, and eventually Zoe arrests the corrupt FBI agent for a slew of charges, including his involvement in Dayton's murder. With Coburn finished, Alex gets a call from Shiv, saying he has been invited as a V6 to "The 5-10 Face-Off" on the West Coast. Alex goes to Los Angeles and meets Vincent (John Paul Pitoc), a former pro racer. Vincent agrees to help Alex, but Shiv sabotages Alex in the races. With the help of his crew, Alex overcomes all these odds and manages to win. Shiv discovers Alex's desire of vengeance and sends his henchmen to go after Alex. Alex escapes and goes to Shiv's victory party with the intent of assassinating him, but Alex realizes that the people he has met before are now his new family. Refusing to kill Shiv, Alex suggests to settle it in a race instead. At the end of the race, Alex wins, but Shiv refuses to give up. As the police arrives, Shiv pins the blame on Alex, swearing he will kill Alex for selling him out, leading up to a chase along the coast. At the end of the game, Shiv is confronted by the police as his car is totaled. In the subsequent epilogue, Alex explains his love for racing as he is named the new V8. That’s why I enjoyed the crew 1 because of the story and the characters that Ubisoft had to put into these characters to come to life in the first crew video game 🎮.
TDU is better, bcz it has better and bigger map, which is more realistic and dense, much more detailed, and more detailed cockpits. It has better physics and handling. Better car sounds. And it does not has this stupid vanities, so there are no clown cars in races and free roam. Period.

Still paid $88 after tax for tdusc so doesn’t matter that’s a triple A price no excuses
@@Nightboyvq That is a you problem mate, Nobody forced you to overpay did they?
@@darksidehazuki4327 that’s not the point idiot, the point is they have tripe A prices not AA as you said. Double A is like 20 bucks for example carX street a way better game than tdusc 🤣

They did this purposely announcing this when TDUSC launches which was disaster😅
I mean yeah I also love the fact that Motorfest has 720 cars but when you realize that at least a hundred of them is just a different colored version of the same fucking car with the same stats it becomes less impressive. Not to mention that that variant takes up a space that could be given to an actual new car. There's no Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series but there's 7 variants of the 2010 Camaro SS. And this is a problem that they carried over all the way from fucking Crew 1
The crew 2 being for 1 dollar is actually an insane deal like dang
I really just want both games to allow players to get of our cars at certain spots so we can walk around the cars & communicate with players. At least at the gas stations
Even if I can only get 30 fps on The Crew Motorfest it’s still awesome, the car sound is amazing and the map is beautiful
Fr, imagine if Ubi would deliver offline update for first The Crew.
W Ubisoft for the Offline Patch and the Discount :D
about time ubisoft did something right, maybe their stock price will double now to $4 per share
I really can't like Motorfest. Not having the need to ever buy a car for any races other than simply starting them is an awful idea.
A correction:
Things slow you down a lot in the crew motorfest, and you cant"fly" they changed some physics, and in this one, you go down way faster, making it more realistic. Ppl did a comparison on this vs. forza.
But if theymaxe ot to where if you hit anything you automatically slows down ppl would get annoyed a game is about fun at heart.
modders would be going crazy if crew motorfest gone offline.
4:11 Over 700 cars now
What if ,the crew motor fest added another country and you can just use your plane to travel to the new country. This would be a W update
Man one of the things that stopped me playing motofest was the map being small compare to the big USA map. But with a new island its nice to expand. Still won't beat the USA map 😅. Hopefully they add houses I'm motofest that's was another cool feature from the crew two 😎
They could easily port the usa map near the end of MF's Lifespan
The only good news from Ubisoft ever told, the rest Ubisoft games... No so much...
I wish crew 2 had more driver customization
The game is also on sale on the Ps5 for just 20 bucks at the moment, so i might get!!
anyone that played crew motorfest didnt forgot about it the player base is there, great video.
I think my main choice isn't between Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown or The Crew Motorfest since I wasn't going to buy either of them until they added offline mode but rather "Do I buy the Crew Motorfest for Playstation 4 or Steam?"
I know the PS4 version of The Crew Motorfest is probably the "weakest" graphically since it's running on decade-plus old hardware (but it still looks amazing to me in gameplay videos of the PS4 version) and the advantage of playing it on Playstation 4 is that I know it's going to work right out of the case (physical media is also a plus) even if I have to download the offline patch.
December is when.... don't understand how yall comparing a have that's not even a week old not a day old is what I don't get
@@Nobody_PlaysGames I know the offline patch for The Crew Motorfest isn't out yet but Ubisoft made a definitive announcement about it while I'm still waiting for a definitive announcement about an offline patch for TDU:SC, not that I was going to buy TDU:SC this week even with a definitive offline announcement since, for any modern game, I prefer waiting for all launch issues to be patched anyway.
@@Nobody_PlaysGamesNobody Cares.
I didn't get a free urus I all ready bought it before it was free 😔
I honestly just got the crew motorist to just have some fun with and it’s really good lol.
I didn't have any Problems at the TDM Early Access and i Play it Back then on ps4 before i bought a PS5.

The map is good
What are you talking about the cars are not easy to acquire in their you either pay real money for them or you have to grind your ass off to get them in the crew that makes no sense that they just stole cars at you there's so many people in the crew that's looking for ways to cheat so they can get cars and for you to just come and say that lets me know that either you've won just pay money for cars or two know nothing about the game
The thing with tdusc is that it would have worked if they would have launched it 5 yrs ago imo
When the crew 2 gets an offline mode i cant wait to put mods innside to make the usa nice 👍
anticheat = no mods
My only issue with both of these games are their bad performance on one & an fps lock on the other, because I cant use my PC to its full potential, its just not worth playing & also getting motion sick from it
And the crew calling all units has the crew offline mode too.
Bought Crew2 yesterday for a $ and promptly asked for a refund it was such garbage.

Nah, nothing too crazy, tf you gone do on tcm offline ? That shitty playlist events ? Or just drive around ? The only thing that is keeping this game alive is literally the Grand Races
I can only see The Crew Motorfest being the only game with 900° steering wheel spin. Tell me other games tho, I would like to know which game I've missed
I would play motorfest if it had a similar progression system. I HATE racing games that give me supercars immediately. I want super/hyper cars to be the endgame.
Where is the ability to sell your cars? Wheres cross platform? We need those features ASAP!
If crew was also set in far east asia
China Japan Korea
I would have already pre ordered it
They have the Lamborghini boat‼️, oh now Im most definitely considering buying TCM, I’m already waiting for my refund from my TDU preorder, I was so disappointed, they got my hopes up thinking TDU was back.
There was a lot of down talk in the beginning but we had faith they cooked 🔥🔥
About motorfest dont buy the welcome pack on console and then play on pc it will bug your account and its been identified internally luckily and bc of this i cant change car in the menu bc i get kicked every time
I just bought the crew 2 cause it was still on the store for only 99 cents. But I can’t find it in my ps library. Is that happening to anyone else?
6:00 song name ?
Oooo and offline mode... I wonder if this would mean we could run the game on Linux Offline if nothing else.
Why did anyone think that tdu would actually do well
TDU already said they are going to be adding an offline mode
Nah they said they are considering it
Good comparison 👍🏎️💨
When is the crew and the crew 2 gonna have offline mode?
How is motorfest forgotten lol it's the best racing game out hands down not even thinking about test drive
Because Forza Horizon exists
@reuploadplug forza is fire but still motorfest ain't been forgotten 😂 nice try tho
I thought this game was purely online? Never tried it. Looks good maybe I’ll give it go

will they remove battleye from crew motorfest for offline mode
TDU is better, bcz it has better and bigger map, which is more realistic and dense, much more detailed, and more detailed cockpits. It has better physics and handling. Better car sounds. And it does not has this stupid vanities, so there are no clown cars in races and free roam. Period.
Yeah I dislike the whole festival thing myself, I dislike the new Clan system in TDU and at level 30 I haven't joined a clan and every time I start up the game the AI asks me if I intentionally not joined a clan 🤣
Does crew motor test work with Moza R12 DD wheel base?
Oops,i was still waiting and rooting for TDU to get their act together before I buy, but it seem Crew Motorfest have come swooping in to take their meat.

There wasn’t even a competition to begin with… test drive is as a lost cause to begin with… Crew Motorfest is really good aside from the buggy lobbies. Test Drive from what I heard is really bad.
I don't like the island map in crew motefest. I really really like when any game, especially open world games are set in far east asia. I just like their buildings and aesthetics.
And Zoe and Alex and Roxanne are all my favorite characters from the crew 1 and test drive unlimited 1 and I strongly agreed 👍 💯 with you. And in test drive you can actually buy a house 🏡 and I miss it so much. The crew 1 has traffic lights 🚦 while the crew 2 dosen’t have traffic lights 🚦. I strongly agreed 👍 💯 with you. All moterfest needs is to make it much easier to get money

I think Test Drive killed itself by not actually being a proper Test Drive Unlimited game.
Tdu is also bringing single player
