I say they are trying their best to make it the same, if not better than original series. Houses are going to be completely different then TDU1 and 2 as well.
@@CloneEmperor66 it's a big part of it, not the whole thing. Haven't had any issues with servers. The game seems optimized for me. Running it on ultra and it's smooth like butter. Don't even have the best of hardware either.
Well hate to break it but they fixed that in the release. Beta was a year old version. Tons of fixes and major updates to the game right before release. Looks like Nacon proved y'all wrong.
I have never seen so many game comparisons to a Beta of a game. For a Beta, TDU SC looks amazing. Looking forward to all the major updates each Season as well.

Don't confuse an alpha or a beta with a demo. A demo is a slice of the final game, few improvements will be made and that's it. A game can change a lot from a Alpha/Beta to retail but from a demo to retail ?? Doubt it, specially nowadays
@@ThePixySoloWingin a recent article the game director stated that this demo is a "very very old" build (which explains poor performance since optimization is the last thing developers do), and that its being used to test server stability while the main game is still being worked on. he also stated that many problems are already fixed but I doubt that they're talking about the graphics here. so its kinda misleading that they're calling this a demo but in a good way.

TDU's cons that i found playing the game : - No 900° wheel rotation - Bad car physics, they are too grippy making it impossible to drift correctly. Gravel physics are bad. When you're driving the car you have a feeling that your car floats instead of driving (it's weird ik) - Bad boos fights. Racing in this game feels like shit, there is no sens of competition whatsoever. Racing mode is boring asf. - Really, really, really bad optimization. Overall the game feels really boring to me, not only that but also I can't take any pleasure driving cars in this game. The whole point of a car game is to have good car physics and they some how managed to make it feel like shit. Sorry for that buy I really waited this game and now i feel dissapointed. :(
Everyone's telling me the physics are on point, the map is on point etc... I think you don't understand common sense.. Have you take all the aids off? Used a different set up? Have you tried drifting a stock car before??

I tried all aids turned off but i didn't tried a different setup, i played with a dualsens controller, maybe with a wheel it feels better idk. I mean when a rear wheel drive ford mustang GT with roughly 400 horse power and 500 nm of torque can't continue sliding after the first entry in drift, even if you're using manual transmission and all aids off you know that the game physics are bad. Cars are definitely too grippy at least for me but the game isn't released yet. So maybe they will add a "Drift" category of cars like the crew does or maybe they will add some drift tyres like in NFS unbound. Idk honestly. Car physics seemed bad for me at first glance and it was probably accentuated by bad camera movement (while trying to turn it follows the car like it's sticked - that actually creates the floaty effect when turning) + horrible cockpit view (wheel turns at 10° max it's even worse than forza come on). I think cockpit animations play an important role while it comes to handling feel. Just look at the crew motorfest, cars feel like shit when you're playing at 3rd person but in 1st person it looks awesome.

It might not be the same for u , but for me driving on the left side of the road is a deal breaker for , it was the main reason why i stopped playing FH4 after the first hour. Anyone who got a steering wheel loves to just roam around the map for hours and i can confirm from now that TDU SC will not make it into my list (this is my Opinion)

The game is unbelievably good and fun without mentioning the new update of a whole new island in Hawaii with bunch of new cars,bikes,boats …. The game is 9/10 I’ve been playing it since it came out and i never got bored unlike forza with the empty map and tdu too it’s too empty and boring , also the crew has grand.races,playlists , the map is very flashy and realistic stop being a casual for saying not in a million years like tdu is the best game ever 😂 it’s super boring your new game fanboy 😊
@@rahimharez1581 Yes I have actually, I got the Ultimate edition because it was on a really good sale. I really dislike the handling and the roads are far too big. There is no sense of speed... Map isnt not the 1:1 ration of the Hawaii map, which they most definitely could have done it considering the Crew 1 and 2 doing the US (massive map). Map is not realistic when they add the parts they want and remove the rest. TDU was the best game, that is why you have so many companies trying to create games like it. I prefer TDU 1 and 2 over Crew Motorfest and Forza Horizon series. Something TDU Solar Crown does amazing at is the sense of speed and the attention to even the smallest of details. The only issues I saw were the servers and races not working for multiplayer. I will pass on Festival and playlists. Even the motorcycles on Motorfest were horrible. Driving the boat is ridiculous... BTW, Solar Crown literally made the map and city almost the same as real life. The map they chose, and they are coming out with Ibiza during Season 2, was great and has a lot of really fun roads. Motorfest does not. In fact, the map hardly resembles real life lol

Motorfest content sucks. Base game completed in few hours. Rest of content is just about stupid speed traps and finding graffiti. Oahu shrinked in 90 square kms againts 700 in old Test Drive 2005, and 5000-7000 square kms in Crew 2. Boring boats and planes again, no mirrors. Another stupid festival racer with popping comfettes and flags everywhere. No immersion, no feelings. Its like laping 1 racetrack over and over again.
TDU SC is a good driving game, but a terrible racing game. Sure the first hours are going to be awesome. But without proper racing what are you going to do later? At least I can do any race with any vehicle I want, choose difficulty, time, weather in Motorfest. And they are getting another island just as big... for free. I'm playing both, but the crew is gonna last way longer.

That’s wishful thinking I doubt the graphics will improve what needs to improve is optimization
