Gt7 overall takes it for me, its the only one of the 3 that has a truly good car model with a lot of detail, sound all 3 are good, gt7 does change sound once you put upgrades to the cars
@@TheSkyline35 not to far off, and it dosent take away from my enjoyment, the other 2 games while have slighly better sound for this car, its much nicer in gt7 because of better detail, better driving physics, Gt7 gets in a completly different animal once you put upgrades on the cars and can be played in vr, Gt7 trumps the other 2 games easily. Gt7 also edge both games out easily with much better shifting. The other 2 games dosent shift like an auto, specially crew motorfest is quite bad in that regard
Mainly has to do with how they record the sounds. They use a technique called Granular Synthesis, where, instead of fixed RPM loops, they record an audio clip of the car accelerating through the RPM range under load, and run it through a GS engine. This “granulizes” the audio clip so that each individual revolution of the engine gets its own sound. This is obviously dependent on how high the car revs in the audio clip. It sounds like for the TDUSC MC20, they only took it to about 6500 rpm.
Imo TDU sounds the most accurate in general. But, it's quite strange because at max revs in game (looks like ~8000 RPM) it sounds like it's only revving to ~6500 RPM. The sound doesn't match the revs which makes it sound a bit off This video shows what I mean quite well: ruclips.net/video/bTLgeNl6Vyc/видео.html
MC20, with its 3.0 Twin-turbo 90° Nettuno V6, its engine sound is low-pitched in Reality. TDU Has the right sound but doesn’t simulate the revs realistically. Motorfest sounds good but it’s louder. GT7’s sound is a bit off, sounds high-pitched but still trying to get the right tone at least so it’s somewhat an ok sound. So in this case, TDU SC sounds like the IRL car even though the game itself isn’t worth it. So I still want to trust GT7 and Motorfest.
when i see comparison with real life, TDU SC was really close with real life sound but GT7 was accurate too (please it was my opinion dont mad at me 😐)
@@ALMAHDI1720not a lot better slighly only, but only in Chase cam, gt7 has a better interior sound, and not to mention gt7 is a far better game with much better graphics and details, and it works unless tdu solar crown
You mean you’re comparing the car’s sound between the two games, right? And TDU is never going to threat GT7 either way. One is an Open world, and the other is Track racing.
I hate how cars in GT7 sound. Everyone people say Gt7 cars sound the most realistic, I tell them to listen how the cars sound in real life. What you hear in-game when u drive doesn't match what u hear when u select a car in the menu and we hear a car's start up sound.
@@amitsinha3063100% agree, i heard many cars in real life that sounds close to how the cars sounds in gt7, of course not all of them but more than a few at least.
It depends on the car, loud cars usually sound muted in GT and they lack depth, normal cars with smaller engines sound great, interior sound is also great across all cars.
Most modern cars and even many older cars don't throw the road at the driver through the steering wheel. This is more likely in older cars before power steering existed. It is even less likely in very recent cars with full electric steering. Also, racecar drivers are in control of the car and have honed lightning fast reflexes to prevent and react to changes in the steering wheel. Given how my car has electric assisted power steering and barely is provoked by a massive pothole in a standard road car, I mean... GT7's wheel motion looks fine to me.
@@VariantAEC that makes sense, but noone sits on the weel with 0 movement like that anyway, looks odd in a video game, thats all. Car vibration itself rock your body a bit. With a bit of G force, you ot to move a bit in the cocpit :)
