Putting the date at the front of your videos is a great idea Jacob.
Damn, Zoltar actually be spitting some words of wisdom that fit quite well with whats going on in the world right now
Bro…….. that trap that drops into the little cave is bringing back some MEMORIES
Scary ones of course
If Robert Ripley were still around, I think he’d want to appear in one of your videos and meet you, Jacob. You do a great job showing his exhibits! Thanks man
It's Jacob Johns...Myrtle Beach was one of mom's favorite places she would have loved this episode my friend...just a year ago we found out she had cancer still glad she got to meet you
Hey Jacob, hope you guys are doing well
Always good to join you Jacob, on your travels, and always happy to see Zoltar x 😀, keep safe on your travels 😷 x
Thanks for another great adventure Jacob. Don't get too close to those fertility statues !!
SIR. Thank you for the road trips of what is left of or history please be safe!👍
I live in South Carolina, and I used to go to Myrtle beach a lot, but it’s really expensive there
your videos help my anxiety so much thank you
I think it's great that you are such a fun and positive and active person. Your documentations and visits to different places and locations are always very interesting! Especially for me, because I am from Germany ⚫🔴🟡, it is always like a little vacation to places you would not have got to know without your documentaries. Thank you! Greetings from Regensburg, Germany 😊👍 & 🌞🤘
Ripley's always has something of interest. Its good to see they are taking precautions . Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
I first saw a gentleman that later on would become of friend of mine when he was appearing at the Ripley's in Myrtle Beach greeting folks and signing autographs, Billy "McGuire" McCrary, one of the World's Heaviest Twins that also were pro wrestlers. Billy's brother Benny had passed away about 10 years before I got to know him. I also appreciated yesterday's video of the Gay Dolphin Gift shop, where we'd pick up new beach blankets and t-shirts each year on Ocean Drive. Thanks for the memories.
Awww I remember seeing this but not going in it, thank you for documenting it The CarpretBagger!
I remember visiting this in 1991 and the room that has that tilting platform used to be where the iron maiden display was featured. I had no idea the platform was going to tilt forward and it scared the crap out of my friend and I.
They should make a picture of the Staples Sisters made out of staples 😂
Surprised they haven’t done that yet
I've enjoyed your channel for years now, and I know this was filmed in JUNE but please just wear a mask. The numbers are just growing day by day in SC.
I think the Lighthouse Man was carrying too many items and said Wait a Minute! Let me see if I place the candle here where my dent is.......
You found Elusive Hand Sanitizer. 25 years from now it'll be an Antique next to the cell phone.
Dude you should be in Ripley's belive it or not for going to ALL of them
Believe it or not I enjoyed this video
@7:23 I was at the aquarium watching the sword swallower that day with my 3rd grade class! I had no idea it was the first time anyone's done that.
It's so surreal to me that carpetbagger visited myrtle beach and just south carolina in general because i live in south carolina and myrtle beach is super close to where i live, and i would visit this believe it or not location alot a couple of years ago
Very Interesting & Informative Video! Looks So Fun To See All This In Ripleys! Thanks For Sharing! Take Care!
When I last went, back in the late 90's, there was a Ripley's Believe it or not ride across the street. I wonder if it's still there. I never got to go on it.
Just Followed Your Channel! Thanks For Sharing! Take Care!
I've never been to a Ripley's. I'd love to see some someday
That color thing at the end was hard!
My dad used to have a shirt like that, it was pretty fun to try and nail all the words on it in one try, but pretty hard, too
When Iron Man starts playing as he shows the cat armor 👌
I love the giant marble for some reason.
I have a suggestion to a place to go in Wisconsin! Its called Games and Arcade its in Eau Claire, they have a selection of old cabnet games and pin ball machines!
Jacob i wonder how long it takes you to edit your videos? Cause you do a really good job and you post very frequently. Keep up the good work!
Wow! Thanks for sharing! I really liked the Marvel exhibits. Have a great day!
Ayy new carpetbagger video!!!
The vid looks great!
i went to Myrtle Beach once when I was a kid. including this RIpley's! it was also when they still had the Myrtle Beach Pavilion! its a shame that park closed down and their coaster was way taller than that one at Family Kingdom!!
Did the Castle Dracula exist when you went? It was right next to the Ripley’s museum.
@@K3vinK honestly I dont remember if it was. I went in the winter of 2001.
girlstorm09 then no it wasn’t. Both were removed in 1982
My family also got to see this when we were in SC last summer, loved it
Love your videos
Yes Ripley's!!!!! I love these videos!
Yet another great video 🇬🇧🇺🇸😷👍
Keep up the great work!
What a quaint place to be!
My fave exhibits were the cat armor, and the Presidents hair. Lol
What was your favorite exhibits Jacob, the Carpetbagger?
I was there last month it’s rlly fun
Thank you for this Jacob
*Awesome video!!* 🖒😎
Wow I remember going there years ago! It was a cool place!
I live in Myrtle Beach!! I would love to meet you before your next adventure! Can't wait to see you!!
I’m going there tonight!
Awesome sauce
Great video Jacob...I have been to this Ripley's since I live only like 8 miles away...that man with a candle on the top of his head would come in handy...I wouldn't need a candle stick holder..and all that pre chewed gum art..beats sticking it under someone's table lol..but very cool none the less
I'll drink any beer!! Great vlog.
you deserve way so many more views
I realized this past week when watching the vlogs, especially those which involved attractions with interactive experiences, just how many of the exhibits cannot be enjoyed to the fullest.
Been 7 years since I’ve been there!
Been there, soooo fun
Omg I loved watching that show in the 80s.
I visited this location and it is very fun. My grandparents live in North Carolina and we decided to check it out. At the end, I went through the exit to leave the museum and I thought I wasn't supposed too and played at the arcade. I now look back and 😂😂
Been there 4 or 5 times. Great place
Well youre right i cant believe it
Somebody probably already told you but RIP is from the TV show Yellowstone. That's why there's a Y at the bottom!
BTW, talking about the figure at the entrance!
I love your videos...makes me feel relaxed for some reason....I've seen some of these things...I often wonder where the money comes from to do all this cause I'd love to do this.
Have a blessed day and be safe and careful. GOD bless all
Zoltar!
I saw Ariel and the Animaniacs on the Junk Art Man
Just found a documentary on ripley himself! Was so good finding out about the man behind the oddities
This video set a new record for commercial breaks.
dumbbo1 this is Ripleys not Guinness
Caleb Warner believe it or not I doubt that person cares🤣
I only have been to one Ripleys Believe Or Not Museum it was in Niagara Falls
I was just there yesterday
I hope you are using some yup of protection to keep from getting the covid virus.
You should go back to the one in Grand Prairie, Texas 😊😊
I went to that ripleys museum in myrtle beach a few years ago
Do they still have the graveyard in there?
Me and my cousin would always wait behind the alley at that believe it or not and wait to get picked up by my grandfather
It's an iron Iron Man Jacob! 🤣🤣🤣
Zoltar tells the truth here about right down to the tee of today's world very wise he is nice your journey of the believe it or not museum
Have you ever been to that haunted house in myrtle Beach that has the half body guy that sits on a stick? I saw it as a little and it terrified me 😂😂
OMFG THE FUCKING WEEZER GUM SCULPTURE AT 7:38
i think next place to head to is rusty tv and movie cars in Jackson Tennessee
Only 2 things really irk me about Ripley's:
1# The Iron Maiden was NEVER REAL, but invented later on as a FAKE gruesome torture device.
2# There are NO real Vampire Kits - they were made afterwards as fakes, mostly due to the popularity of Bram Stoker's work, and other legends that inspired it.
Other than that, I question the mummy booty but, that was fun to see, kinda hahah
Jacob. Have you ever been to the one in Newport city in Oregon? It's not as big as this one. About half the size.
Hey Lol I'm down at Myrtle Beach Right now
Are you going to Ripley s
@@jodavidson4767 Nah I'm at the boardwalk
I live in Charleston South Carolina so your close to me 🙏🏻
I was here in 2016 just before new years eve
Was there in 1976
@The Carpetbagger do you ship the postcards overseas with the 3$ patreon ?
I do!
12:11 that skeleton cage is a called a gibbet...criminals were put in them to rot down to bone after they were hanged...sometimes they were put in them alive to die a horrible death then rot away
next trip should be a nhra race
ayyeeeee
I remember this place lmao
I’ve been there
15:47 I want one of those
Did I miss shark bite guy who usually at these places?
Vampiric persuasion
Oh man! Zoltar said the forbidden G-word!
We visited this museum years ago and it was a real let-down. The place was nasty and the exhibits were covered in dust and cobwebs. Hopefully they're doing a better job of maintaining it now.
I go through 3 or 4 razors a week. I dont grow much facial hair, but I shave my head to the skin every night.(And no, I'm not a "neo Nazi")
go making the date of filming the Disclaimer. hopefully viewers will actually read it before commenting...
They don’t 🤷♂️
I live right next to it basically lol
I thought this was an old episode
@5:21a mummy's backside...soooo would that be a mummy's bummy? :)
