I like your idea of making a Bolt on Hot Rod. It gives you a lot of flexibility to make it your car and still preserve some history. You said you wanted to limit the stainless on the front and that brought to my mind a sort of semi-stealthy appearance for the car as a whole. You might want to consider the reproduction units with the H4 bulbs on a painted drop bar and painted Bezels around the bulbs. I am enjoying your content. Back in the '70's and '80's I spent a lot of time tinkering with old Mopars but now I get vicarious pleasures watching folks on RUclips.
Thanks for watching and for the suggestions. I think I like the stainless trim rings but I am leaning towards painting the bar. I think I'll have to stare at it a little more to be sure.
Fantastic car - this is the style of Model A that I hope to get soon... '31 Coupe with a trunk, all black except for minimal brightwork, blackwall tires and those 16" wheels look absolutely bad a$$, not to mention a little more rubber on the road, with that Mitchell you have one helluva car!! Jealous!! P.S., I saw you painted the light bar, that also looks superb.
Yep,original. Great job as always, she's looking really nice at this point. Can't wait until you have another update. I'd like to do half of thoes things on my 28 Tudor,,,,,but I'm not so fortunate to have your abilities. GREAT JOB .THX
I'd go with painted dropped headlight bar and model A commercial lights. I think they suit the look of the car the best. Guide lights would look better on a fenderless 32.
I would run them since they are the turn signals for the stock lights. I may mock it up that way and see how it looks. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching.

Painted bar with commercial lights would be my preference
It looks more authentic to what some guy might have done in his garage in the 50's, and way too much fun!
Commercials, drop bar. Bar shiney 😎👍🍺
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Commercial lights black dropped head light bar really nice car
Thanks for watching and commenting. That is what I ended up going with. Check out the latest video.
United pacific looks really good. I love you videos. Thank you
They seem to make a pretty good product. Thanks for watching.
I like the commercial lights on the stock bar.
I am also a big fan of the commercial lights. I'm not sure on which bar just yet. Thanks for watching
Like the black model a lights the best

Thank you. I think it will make a nice little driver when it's done.
the second set up was nice
It was a tough choice but so far I'm happy w/ the painted housings and bar. Thanks for watching.
Liked the version 2 with the commercial black shell myself.
Thanks for watching. I also really like those.

Thank you. I'm hoping to have it all together and ready to go by spring.
Yes the last one the original !
I also really like the orig Guides. I'm just not sure if they are the right ones for this car. Thanks for watching.

I think you read my mind. We'll find out for certain in the next video but that is the direction I'm leaning.
Mucho gusto! Yep, setting 5 with no repro Lights looks best imo. I like your ride too much.
Thank you.,
Version 3 but add the yellow lights to the bar.
I would run them since they are the turn signals for the stock lights. I may mock it up that way and see how it looks. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching.
great car
Thank you.
The LED lights will probably work with 6V.
I might bench test them and see.
@@Maine_A_S IIRC, it can be done and stay 6v...
Thank god you didn't chop it up, but i did like stock better
Drop bar with comercial light

Original guide isn't a bad look either
They are a great looking light.
